Well yea, spoilt since the BF knows my screen name, he can easily do a Nairaland search and find all postings made by DewDrop. I say what i mean and i mean what I say though with evidence, I can change my opinion He can look at it all he wants- the bottom line is that IF I WANTED IT TO BE SECRET, I WOULDNT PUT IT ON NAIRALAND! |
Well razorr, you better be crazy about him!! to go thru all this!! |
Oh gosh @ topicOk ok Everyone, the abortion was just razorr questioning if a Nigerian Investigative Agency could source out information as sensitive!! Are Nigerian Investigative Agencies good/thorough enough to find information as sensitive as the termination of a pregnancy? so we can stop all the digression! |
@spoilt why is that so unbelievable? My BF is a pseudo-Nairalander and knows my screen name. |
OHMGah!?!? joyblinks Are you serious!? @ your post about only a man that loves you blah blah blah You can't be!! Women like these are the ones who believe that a man who beats them does so because he loves them so much! In this case, it's not about love. Everybody has boundaries and those must be respected! Its a matter of respect & trust! He needs to show his 'love' for her by trusting her and respecting her! Not by hiring private investigators and giving the woman panic attacks!! She's already para, why does she need to question why her neighbor asked this or that Everyone, the abortion was just razorr questioning if said Nigerian Investigative Agency could source out information as sensitive as that!! Which was the original point of the thread- we, well I, digressed (A Dr. Phil moment) ![]() So, Are Nigerian Investigative Agencies good/thorough enough to find information as sensitive as the termination of a pregnancy? |
@ oyb- LoL. Really just an active imagination! @ Razorr- Even in my last, last post i noticed that You were way toooooo concerned about that abortion part for us- Nairalanders not to assume that its discovery was a major concern for you Seems that way. Yup. |
Likewise @ Ruudie, the reaction was so strong- it made me wonder. Razorr Why do you care how effective such agencies are? You have no skeletons, abi? So quit being on the defensive about this and get on the offensive! (I know sounds cliche) I don't think many people would have had such experiences Or dealt with those agencies in that capacity (relationship issue) Back to getting on the offensive: You have to put him on the spot! Re-iterate that you have nothing to hide And you are not pleased at all with his behavior, Ask him to justify his thought process. All he'll do in the end is alienate you and make you distrust him. Cuz saying he'd investigate you is like saying: "You word isn't good enough", "I wouldn't believe you to tell me the complete truth", "I think you have something to hide" Bottom line, what type of woman are you? Are you one to worry about what the investigation could reveal? That would be a waste of time because they could always make something up! Are you the type of woman to call him out for even thinking such a thing in the first place? Either way, decide what type of woman you are and act accordingly! |
@ Razorr Ok Ok Ok You don't have anything to hide from him! Sorry!! But seriously, why the curiosity? (which was specifically directed at pregnancy termination?) Well then, you should question him on why he distrusts you so much? Why the need to hire someone to investigate you? A bit of reverse psychology- Ask him how he would feel if you did the same? With a shaky voice & teary eyes, ask him if he know how it makes you feel? And then wrap up with a very sad- "i just don't know how someone would say such a thing to someone they love" Cuz seriously, he's dead wrong for the idea even crossing his mind! @RuuDie LoL, I just have an active imagination is all. Honest! |
LoL @ topic Clips of Cheaters: Nigeria flowing through my mind! If you boyfriend hired someone to investigate you, There might be BIG trust issues? And from the question, I'll guess that you might have something to hide. This is tough because like joyblinks said, it could be anybody who knows you Luckily, you have options: Option 1) Dump him and don't worry about him investigating you Option 2) Stay and keep your mouth shut and call his bluff Option 3) Confess all your deep, dark, dirty secrets to him Option 4) Confess something not too damaging (exam malpractice in JSS2) , and wait for it to blow overMay I just add that in a truly healthy relationship, your word is your bond and if he doesn't believe your words in reference to your past and 'background', and to the extent where he's threatening to hire a private investigator and you believe it enough to query about the existence of such businesses in Nigeria, I would suggest Option 4, especially if you have things to hide- and you my dear, sounds like you might have things to hide. |
Thank you O breeolan @ adaobee, (who has yet to respond while we all argue this out) everyone here has offered good advice Read through it all and you'll see the common trend: Figure out what you are very good at, Find someone who needs that expertise Build your portfolio one job at a time! |
WoW I tire O, When a soaps' advert begins with: "Congratulations for making your first step towards a more beautiful and more white skin." A more white skin!? To each its' own sha! ![]() |
LMAO @ trendy Awww, You know when you have money, those things make sense! @ soulpatrol Yup, that was a good one, All his (girl)friends were white chicks and the had the designer PURSE though he may think it was a regular bag it was a Man-Purse! Yea, he might be on the homosexual side. |
I wish! ![]() One can dream tho! ![]() |
Oh LoL That was such a funny thread! Okay so I get it now @ FBI447 ![]() Leave him alone, he did 300km/hr on 3rd mainland bridge I wonder why then he cropped out th ebottom of the picture? I think that might be a 'google image' ![]() |
Hmmm, Good Question I am Nigerian. I just happen to understand Yoruba ![]() |
WoW @ FBI447 I thought it was only me you were making sarcastic remarks to about owning more than 1 car I dunno man- you just might be a hater. ![]() Don't hate- participate. So as u requested, I'll definitely pray for u "wey still dey roll on leg-bus-okada to arrange at least '92 model 4 tires so that u sef go fit pose small 4 go-slow" ![]() |
Dream or Fantasy? Big, Huge difference between the two! Are we talking the actual job or the benefits package of said job? I would love to get paid to just be. Literally, my FANTASY job is to run general (personal) errands in the morning Eat brunch, hit the gym/spa, shop/spend time on my personal development- ie hobbies etc, pick up my kids from school, make lunch, help with homework, relax delegate household chores to the help, make dinner for my family, spend time with my hubby- you know just regular everyday stuff! And get paid while doing that. Seriously, the wife of the Nigerian Ambassador to somewhere or the other- gets a salary! For entertaining, housekeeping e.t.c So why not me- and i would pay my taxes promptly! Now, that's my FANTASY job! My dream job however, would be to rise to partner level (Country Leader sef) in my firm The benefits are pretty darn decent- lots of flexibility for travel The contacts I'd make would prove helpful in all aspects of my life. Yup, My dream job would be to become the country Leader of an international audit/consultancy firm. AND THEN resign to start my own business My passion is Image/Lifestyle Consultancy, and I will, BY THE GRACE OF GOD build an empire out of that passion! "Billionaire Girls Club"? ![]() From fashion design to styling, I do it all And I'm darn good at it too! Alas, I must pay my dues before I can launch that full time. But in due time

If you mean literally why my location changed from "Planet Earth" to "Lagos/Ibadan, Nigeria", my location had to change 'because I got banned from Nairaland for like 5 hours for not disclosing my location! It was in fact changed for me by Seun, I'm guessing. The problem aside from the fact that driving the ML in Lagos day in and out to work at all hours makes me uncomfortable because it makes me somewhat of a target (True story: This okada guy ran into me (while parked), took off my mirror casing and wanted me to pay him!!) is the maintenance costs. As I ignore your sarcasm and type on, its apparent you are not a Benz owner in Nigeria, if you were you would understand that maintaining a Honda even with daily use is much cheaper than a ML- servicing has never cost me less than 45k, 13k to replace a mirror casing, electrical problems left and right that need attention and the list goes on. Again with the name calling, abeg- leave my government out of this, Danke! |
@ onetwo, "the lucky few who get to dip their hands into the country's vast oil wealth could procure these luxuries and much more." EXACTLY! and I'm sure if not on the road, it's probably sitting in someone's garage! ![]() |
FBI447- Is my name listed anywhere in my profile or did you just put the 2+2 together? Kinda creepy |
LoL- I'm just curious. B4 deciding on the City, I priced Corollas It seems they've been made into the Nigerian 'Official Car' And Elizade et all do not carry the 1.8 engine w. automatic transmissions It makes no sense to me because apparently unless you're willing to part with almost N3m, you wont be able to buy a mint 1.8 engine corolla! I was just curious. LoL ![]() |
Did I vote? No Does it matter? Yes I had all intentions of voting, The 4 day weekend meant I could go to Ibadan to visit my mom for an extended weekend I'm however registered to vote in Lagos Until Nigeria is hi-tech enough to allow electronic voting and/or absentee ballots I'm saddened I really wanted to vote though. ![]() |
I will bet more than anything that after the smoke clears- someone will come out blaming his parents/ teachers etc for not recognizing the 'warning signs', because he was 'deeply troubled'. Nigeria/US- violence is everywhere! Ugandan police are killing protesters Drug cartels are feuding in Mexico It's tough to live anywhere in the world now-a-days huh? It's God that keeps us safe. Don't ever forget to thank God for his protection. ![]() |
Democrat, what about a 2005/6 Toyota Corolla. Automatic transmission. Full options. What's the going rate for that- inclusive of clearing costs? Danke! ![]() |

So there's a yellow Bentley Coupe- cruising around Ibadan, some have said its a Chrysler 300 Coupe with a different grill- i don't know but how many yellow Bentley coupes could there be in Nigeria? Funny enough, i don't have a picture of my car- like me stopping to take a picture of my car, I have pictures where its in the background but a pic of my car solo- nope. Maybe i should whip out my phone and snap a few pics? back to that Bentley Coupe- so any sightings in Lagos/ Ibadan? |
Thanx & LoL @ FBI477, She has the state plate on the back- the decorative one came with it and it never seemed important to change it- i think it looks good with it. Im acutally looking to buy a smaller car (well i should say I've bought) the Honda City- I know it's just a City but i'm sure the maintenence would be much lower than the ML- that will just be for special occasions! LoL |

Errr, no they don't @ kellorah omogenaija, if you see that your hair is in its best condition, why mess with it? just continue with your African Pride and don't let someone who isn't your identical twin and has done the switch tell you anything! It's your hair and if- if it breaks again, you'd only have yourself to blame! I'm sure you're grateful to your new stylist for her part in the turnaround in your hair but I think you should go with that old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" |
A Lovethis It's dewunmia@gmail.com, thanks! |
