LoL Ugly is as Ugly does! The Most attractive man/woman could still be a ugly person! |

I'm guessing you don't have many friends? @ Seun?? Friends yab each other on everything! from what you're wearing to what your girl looks like. Don't be so naive as to think they don't and if your friends don't- well, they're just not doing it to your face! LoL but seriously, NO WOMAN (unless, you like short men) will look around a club and go chat it up with the short dude!? Now people getin all philosophical with the ish, Look, the question is "Can you marry a man shorter than you?"(4" or more bare feet- you're 5'6" and he is 5'2" ![]() The answer is of course you can! but would you want to? would that be your ideal choice? Of course it isn't! Keep it real! |

Cartoons r def. not for children. My fave. shows are cartoons drives my ppl crazy but I'd rather watch cartoons any day! |
Lies Lies Lies!!! All this crap about marring a guy shorter than you cuz the love will make up for it! The yabbing you'd face from your friends wouldn't even get ya'll past the toasting stage! Abeg don't decieve yourself, No woman that is 5'11", loooves heels, sees a man that's like 5'6" and immediately thinks marriage with kids. Let's be real ladies! Laws of attraction DO apply here and as big as his heart is, tall & handsome generally works better for most women. |
NYSC is an utter & complete waste of time! Wanna waste a year of your life?? Really? NYSC's the way! To the people who say it was anything other than a waste of time- what the hell were you doing before? |
Hell NAW!!! Shallow as it may seem, We all have our limitations. I'm 5'11" and tend not to be attracted to people under 6'2" To each, its own right? |

Amobi 1:WEll, erm - ordinarily i would agree but nah- a good weave is your passport to "bigger girls level" I have seen some fabulous weaves/wig./hair pieces! think Aaliyah, Gabrielle Union, even Oprah! Nigeria has bastardized a legit hair option. What people do with tracks of hair, thread is saddening! So you stand corrected Amobi- Girls without class put on weaves without class! |
You want to know if you should give him a second chance so he can really beat you up? RUN RUN AND DON"T LOOK BACK! @GeminiII - Pray about it together!? THATS THE PROBLEM IN NIGERIA TODAY!!! why can't he go pray about it his damn self!? and leave her out of it?! If he's hitting on her a month into the relationship- he'd probably kill in 2 years! RUN girl RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK! |
LoL @ topic Your man is cheap You either deal with it or not And I'm sure you're not referring to Marco Polo, Imperial, Oceanview e.t.c) TSo something affordable but nicer than 'buka' food abi? You could always buy/bring your own food! He'd get your point, LoL You should know him and his budget by now. It's silly - complaining about where he takes you to eat! (But I'm sure that's not REALLY the problem is it?!) Are you sure that's what you're really upset at? |
Although by virtue of my financial status and profession I am in the upper class of society, I come down to make friends with the poor and lowly.Therein lies your problem! I'm sure in your interaction with those "poor and lowly", you remind them that they are indeed "poor and lowly" and that you are "in the upper class of society". So why won't they then ask for financial assistance from you? By virtue of your "financial status and profession", you can afford to help? Right? and I'm sure your disposition lets them know! To curb the requests being made of you, you could: a) Stop interacting with people that are not in your class socially. b) Always have mint N1,000 notes ready to be doled out to the masses. c) Recognize that you can't be friends with EVERYONE- some people are just opportunists! Or you can do a mixture of all. Limit your interaction with people you don't know personally, professionally or through a friend, be ready to give in once in a while for the truly pitiful of cases and learn to be a bit of a snob. Works 4 me! |

The Palms for instance, rent is in $$, hence why True Religion jeans that are 3 seasons old cost N38k! I am an addict to anything fashionable and short of traveling every month, I've learned to adapt. Nigerians like nice things and will drive far and pay well- so long as it's nice! Silverbird Galleria and The Palms I think are notorious for window shoppers City Mall is a bit better- people actually shop there. You might have to start with the office to office- word of mouth hustle! That word of mouth advertisement will get people to come to wherever you open shop! I got tired of the limited selection and high prices on the island and through some word of mouth advertising, I found a nice, little boutique in Ikota- i think that's what the area is called- a shopping complex next to VGC. She has a small operation but there is always something new to pick up! Good Luck |
Errr Now-a-days both are necessary So, I would do both Maybe even 3 1-Traditional 2- White here 3- White NY |
Yup- I'm bored rite now. Nairaland to the rescue! |

In all honesty, I was guilty of being that nosy As in i wanted know whos calling/texting my man @ what time? Who he's calling/texting @ what time and about what At the end of the day Its only me that was suffering because he didn't care and we ended up arguing because he wouldn't elaborate on things its our own personal insecurities that cause such behavior We should be able to trust that there isn't anything inappropriate going on Ideally- especially if they've never broken your trust before but now a days, it's hard to trust but both parties shouldn't make such a big deal about it. Don't stress your man to see his phone, in fact JUST DON'T Don't freak out when your lady wants to see your phone If you're up to no good, then get another handset and put a lock code on it. Just don't be surprised when she gets one also Or pack out ![]() |
In the video- at about 50 seconds in, a little boy comes out and "MOLESTS" her (she' doin the hot wuk on her back)? Now will we bash him and call him all sorts of name? Better yet- we should start a poll- who is to blame? Her or the little boy who "Molested" her Or did she molest him? hmmmm and then about 4 minutes into it. |
See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4pmZ0GFUs4 That just the way it goes down. She probably expected worse *Exact Monday not as madd as Weddy Weddy Wednesdays LMAO |
But what u expect w. d queens of d dancehall!?stacy kieva madd michelle wheres iyla? Hotta & vegas?! Hot Wuk- dang that's kinda tame i remember that passa passa when Iyla hop-split into dutty wine Just lean wit it, rock with it, boom wuk with it ![]() any day any time ![]() |
ohhh i love that song!! Stroutman!? huh?somehow, i never know that Iiiiiiiiiii want to be your man, I want to be you mannnnnnnnnnnnnn Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii wann be your man Oh yes I do, Oh yes I do-oooo-ooooooo! ![]() @ IBB - youre nuts!! LOL Must the babe be wowo before you give her relationship saving advise? If shes fine kno? you'll tell her to dump him? hmmmmm |
So @ topic, your biggest worry is what her mother will think? If the mother is cool with her daughter squatting with a dude, she can't be the moral compass by which you live your life Leave her alone- she's disrespecting your relationship on so many levels. And imagine the things you don't even know- can you put cheating past her- No you can't! So unless you're in the relationship for the mother- Leave it alone. |
