either some1 is sleep-talking here or having delusions.  .   .   .
if these guys do not get their acts right, nothing for them. they'd be so shell-shocked that they won't know what hit them!
if the super-chickens do not focus well & diligently too, 100 foreign coaches will not solve their problems.
shocked

I hope they are severely sanctioned for their gross misdemeanour so as to serve as a deterrent to others.

Sports / Re: 2010 Nations Cup Nigeria Draw Egypt: by dfanthom(m): 10:43am On Nov 22, 2009
i hope naija performs well in the tournament this time around, for all the folks that want Amodu out should have a rethink! even the legendary Guus Hiddink couldn't take russia to the World Cup, let's give one of our own a chance. i'm sure Amodu will do better than Modakeke High chief, baba onigbinde of korea-japan 2002.
i implicitly believe that he can do it if given the necessary support like undergoing @ least 2 coaching courses b4 te WC. also, NFF has a role to play & if they get it wrong, every other thing will go wrong! i also suggest that the guy should polish his personality be more charismatic than Avram Grant.

GOD HELP NAIJA!

Car Talk / Re: Brand New Kia Cerato Vs Used Japanese by dfanthom(m): 2:44pm On Nov 19, 2009
NEW IS BEST! even though not always the case of ''a livin' dog is better than a dead lion''.

i candidly advise that depending on your funds, a new KIA is not that bad cos when you'd want to sell in some years time, of cousr by then it's 2nd-hand value would have been well established.

na you hold knife & yam! cheers!!
Politics / Re: Delta State May Okay Death Penalty For Kidnappers by dfanthom(m): 2:27pm On Nov 19, 2009
all the tiers of govt have all the laws in the world & yet implements less than 5%.
hope they'd be able to buffer the shocks that go with such harsh laws & put in place adequate security measures.

meanwhile all the kidnap cases have never been holistically resolved & any1 convicted. i wonder how they'd go about it this time. . . .

wish the govt the best!

Education / Re: FG Provides Free Internet To All higher institutions In Nigeria by dfanthom(m): 3:28pm On Nov 18, 2009
it's just too early to rejoice.
these politicians do always have an ulterior motive. me thinks this is another white elephant project & conduit to siphone tax-payers funds. . . .

internet ought ot be a necessity or so i think. . . . .
Sports / Re: WCQ: Kenya vs Nigeria - (2-3) by dfanthom(m): 4:40pm On Nov 14, 2009
THE SUPER EGGS MADE IT FINALLY!

i hope they perform better than this @ the WC!! the NFF & all the stake-holders should better get their acts right this time around.

UP NAIJA!!  Didnt believe they could make it 2 all in d 1st place.

grin
Sports / Re: U-17 World Cup Final: Switzerland Vs Nigeria [1 - 0] by dfanthom(m): 3:56pm On Nov 14, 2009
hope they win anyway despite all the imperfections, shabby preparations & irregularities associated with the eaglets!
wish them all the best, however the NFF needs to discourage this persistent age-disparities.

UP NAIJA!

Politics / Re: Nigeria: Power Crisis And Prosperity by dfanthom(m): 6:35pm On Nov 03, 2009
@ mccloud224,
i agree with you totally.

it's called 'POVERTY OF THE MIND'. our leaders cannot cease to amaze the masses with the heaps of garbage of ignorance & primitivity that they exude to the outside world. in their fit of madness, delusion & irrationality, they always forget that a handful of them are well educated.

sadd, sadd shame! WHICH WAY NAIJA!!!!!
Education / Re: Presidency To Probe Mass Failure In SSCE, NECO Exams by dfanthom(m): 4:06pm On Nov 03, 2009
THE SO CALLED LEADERS SHOULD BOW THEIR HOLLOW HEADS IN SHAME & RESIGN TO DO PENANCE.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH FROM THESE ABOMINABLE THIEFDERS.

MAY THE ALMIGHTY PUNISH THEM ACCORDINGLY TO THEIR NTH GENERATION FOR THE SORRY STATE THEY HAVE SUBJECTED THE NATION & ITS PEOPLES.
Politics / Re: Northern Leaders Want Yar Adua To Resign by dfanthom(m): 10:55am On Nov 03, 2009
are you sure that's what they want? if they are adequately incorporated into the 'come chop' regime, will they still call for his resignation. it's high time people realise that there are too many poor people in naija from the small men to bigg men, from illiterates to learned & the sadd part is that they are afflicted with the worst kind of poverty that can ever be which the 'poverty of the mind'. as soon as its crises relapses they scream for attention which actually is cap in hand begging for favours from the incumbent government.

the really sadd thing is OBJ actually put us in this mess because the foundation of all this rot emanated from him. just really unfortunate that yardull name is synonymous with being unresponsive & that got the whole toxic volcano concocted by OBJ blowing up in his tenure.

really SADD!!! shocked
Politics / Re: Corps Member Arrested For Drug Trafficking! by dfanthom(m): 3:50pm On Oct 26, 2009
this is what one gets for looking for easy way out!

another lesson to be learnt from consequences of drug trafficking. the chap should thank God that he was caught here rather than over there as he probably wud have been hung or served a very harsh prison sentence.

Politics / Re: ‘why Yar’adua Shunned Un General Assembly’ by dfanthom(m): 5:15pm On Oct 13, 2009
the guy called yaradull won't stop fooling himself!

but it's surprising that most folks are even thinking that the mere fact that we contribute troops to peace-keeping ops should be enough for the West to tolerate a weak & visionless government or for the govt to embrace failure as its main objective cos they contributr troops!!
me thinks one of the cardinal problems of nigeria are nigerians themselves and i feel they'd continue to pay for their docile attitude in full except they collectively unite & chase this evil ruling cabal down away & into hell then shall respite comr their way.
cool

if it means for him to go for customers of the bank to be sure their funds are safe, then he should go.
he has tried his best & posterity will judge him if he has performed well or not. this sit-tight attitude of our people must stop. i understand the bank is a 'PLC', then why the adamance @ resigning when it's not a 1-man show?

abeg, change is the only constant thing in life!

just goes to show that it is better to stay in your own country! wonder why with open eyes people will go to this closed circuit country that is ruled by a despot. it's own citizens cannot fully express themselves then a naija man will now go there, for what?!

they'd have themselves to blame as even our own sleepy-eyed govt doesn't have what it takes apart from rhetorics to deliver them.
may God save them from this travesty!
