I understand the guy tho, but he needs to calm down.

There are other many Nigerians getting same visa on daily basis with their Nigerian passport.

No need to bad mouth the country on every slightest opportunity.

Romance / Return Market Investment Shutdown - EFCC Case & Push For Refund Of Investor Fund by Dfavouredone: 5:52am On Jul 24, 2023
This is a call to all investors that were affected by the sudden shutdown of Returns Market Investment Nigeria Limited in August 2021, leading to the non-payment of investor's deposit and ROI been by Returns Market Investment Nigeria Limited since August 2021; to form a coalition to this push matter in EFCC.

The good thing was that the founder of Returns Market Investment Nigeria Limited, Mr. Walter Oyubu (whose picture is attached), was held by EFCC and EFCC is trying to make sure he pay back the money of investors. However, the bad thing is that for about 2 years now, payment has not been made.

I am bringing this here to call on all those affected by this matter to come forth let us form a common front to push for the refund of investor's money before this matter would die a natural death. Like I said, good thing is that EFCC already had him but EFCC is not saying anything on the matter.

So, if are an investors in Returns Market Investment Nigeria Limited before they shutdown and want to join this group for an organize and structure push to get investor money refunded, please send an email with your WhatsApp number to: favuor1234@gmail.com and I will add you to the WhatsApp group.

Let us push for refund of our hard earn money. Let form a coalition to demand justice from EFCC.

Good evening investors,

Can a list of the top 5 or maybe 10 best performing mutual fund manager be created, to make easy for intending investor to make a choose.

As suggestion, the following criteria can be use to judge them:

1. Interest rate performance
2. Online accessibility - availability of app and website to monitor investment, make subscription and redemption.
3. Customer Care Service - How easy and fastness to resolve issues.
4. Consistency: How consistently have they perform in the above over the years.

What do you think guys?

Before I come I don buy car for my brother in law, when I got to the house I was so disappointed right there I told my sister I will never talk to her again. The hostel was just there, nobody goes there to check, even the agent I gave to help me manage it dey do me anyhow.

Do you know how the Akpu that IGBO People eat is processed? The Casava is stored in a stagnant water. It will be stored for weeks till it is infested with magots. Before it is cooked, pounded and ready for consumption.

From the picture bellow. You will sight those white sacks in the dirty murdy water. That is Amighy AKPU. Which is stored in the stagnant water for weeks. You will notice that, the same water is used to wash dirty clothes. grin

Akpu is IGBO People favorite food.

Is this now a game of who is more dirtier?

Unhygienic practices are bad for health, take the advice and leave trying to bring ethnic colouration to every discussion.

Calm down. Some of us were genuinely worried that Mr Obi may still be in the UK detention centre.

Good to see that he is tweeting on a sub national supplementary election but yet to tweet on his poetic justice arrest, detention, incarceration and alleged deportatation to Nigeria by UK authorities in relation to drug related crime.

That scandal is huge and more important for him to personally clear the air on it. This is just optics.

Why can't the president be elected from NE/NW among the Christians there?

Na so so Southern leadership all the time!

Na only politics tribalism suppose dey why is CAN afraid of Northern leadership but Christians are always wanting to convert them?

Because CAN has no trust issues. There is fairness, empathy and brotherliness in CAN. So every Christians is confident that their interests is protected no matter who becomes CAN president.

But same cannot be said about our political class today, hence the deliberate need to balance every government.

Properties / Re: What Type Of House Can ₦400k Savings Per Month Build? by Dfavouredone: 12:20pm On Mar 25, 2022
IHANLU:
The best is to get a loan facility to execute the project of 3 storey building now in which the monthly repayment plan will be within 400k - 450k.
The reason being that, the cost of building material is not stable also considering the time value of money. once you do this, you will continue to enjoy the rental income from now while servicing the loan as against staying the construction for several years before completion.
I am speaking from personal experience

Not a good advise.

If you take 50m loan at 12% per annum, that means paying interest of 6m annually (500k monthly) without even paying pay the principal. All his monthly savings will go into paying interest and the principal will still be there. Simply put, he will be working for the bank.

You only take a loan to finance a project that have ROI beyond the prevailing interest rate.

Career / Re: Should I Take This Deal...? I Need Advice Please by Dfavouredone: 10:37am On Sep 12, 2021
Softboy001:
....life has been difficult to say the least, ever since I moved to lagos after finishing my nysc in March, I thought hoped things will be better but it only became...
Well let's leave that. I just want advice, that's why I am here.am currently squatting with my elder brother and his fiance in a room and palor self con. They are getting married by December. I have alot of burden to them, they don't need to tell me I know. But what will a man do. I forgot to add am 27 years old. I studied mechanical engineering (HND). My hands are really tied right now. I left a crazy job(30k/months) that I was using to sustain my self. Don't judge me, am not lazy. I left because of security reasons. Plus It was a slave kind of work. Presently am hooked. I don't know where and what to do. I currently don't have up to 5k in my account self. As I no gree do yahoo aka jazz. Na wetin my eyes dey see be this.

...any way my gist is getting to long. There is an man that has always been a father to me. He helped me through school. I really thank him. As in he has done alot. The man just like me for no reason.and has been helping me since I was young. Anyway he called me and then after explaining to him how things has been for him.

He called again after a month. He said he has a deal for me.

The deal is that, he wants to sponsor me to go to canada. I forgot to add, he stays in Austria. Him and his family. So the deal is about 2.5 million naira, so he said he going to work everything for me that includes international passport, visa, airplane ticket, accommodation and also the package includes work also. but the deal is that. He will pay about. 850k. To get me there first. Then when am there and have started working I'll pay 1.8 million to the agency $4k.

So that's the deal. The 850k he is just using that to help me.actually he himself he paying 650k to the agency and giving me 200k as pocket money. Then when I get there I can work and give the agency the remaining 1.85 million.

So please guys, what to do you think. My fears is going to a country I don't know anyone at all, there is so much risk involved canada far o and will I be able to pay up the money. I don't want to owe gbese that I can't pay back.

What do you guys think?
Should I go ahead? Or remain in naija?

I have so much fears, that's why am scared of going, what if I go broke?

I have from now till Monday to decide, the processing is starting on Monday

First of all, be strong, things can only get better.

My concern is not whether if you will be able to pay the money or if you will go broke.

In Canada, if it is even menial job you're doing e.g dish washing, cleaner etc, you will still make the minimum wage (average of CAD13 per hour), which when converted to naira is big. So you will definitely be able to survive and pay back.

My real concern is, is the deal genuine? as it sounds too simple and good to be true. So that you don't end in Libya or have your organs harvested or end up pushing drugs for someone and end up in prison.

If you very sure the deal is genuine, go for it as you will be able to make money to more than survive you in Canada.

But double check through the processing process that you are not been sold into slavery or endangered in illegality.

Good luck.

Online investors please.

After creating ur online account and uploaded a passport holding ur I.D.

While waiting for verification can i proceed to deposit funds into my account?

And when is a good time to invest after or before verification?

Online is OK but it's better to go to one of their branch to open so that if you have any challenge you know where to visit. Their phone number online always go unanswered and the online customer service experience is less than satisfactory.

It shouldn't be anybody's business how people want to invest their money. If you have any form of investment and you are able to convince people by your explanation I am sure they would invest.

Not to come into a thread meant for a particular investment thread to make jest of those investing there because of your own personal agenda that you may not even believe in. If the pool funds agricultural ventures like let them be giving % rate per day.

People will only invest in what they understand.

I don't have any form of investment i want people to invest in and I'm not convincing anyone. Do whatever you want my dear friend, it's your hard earn money. Goodluck.

Do you just put your hard earned money into anything without considering the security of your funds? Are forex and Agritech on the SEC website.

Are tech start-ups on SEC website? Does everything have to be on SEC website before it can be invested in?

Well, I think it's just individual investment strategy and risk appetite. Whether you're more interested in higher ROI or just preserving your capital.

Also, capital preservation can be an illusion some time, imagine investing in mutual funds with average return of 5% PA and the inflation rate is more than 10% PA, you will be have losing money in the relative sense. Because the same capital plus interest won't be able buy the same thing in the future, what it can buy now.

Money depreciate with time, so as a principle try to invest in something that the ROI is higher than the prevailing inflation rate, otherwise your money is losing worth in real sense and it would be better you just buy land or any other real estate.

Reap them off, how Na me get MBA Forex or an me get Returns Market Investement.

Invest wherever you wish my dear, let me not distract this thread.

I was just surprise that people are stuck to mutual fund. If they are scare of forex, what about agriculture - many pool funds agriculture venture are giving rates up to 40% per annum (I won't mention name of any of the company so that I don't seem to be talking for them, google is your friend).

Investigate and get information, mutual fund is not the only legit passive source of investment. Goodluck.
