This set of GT seems to have a high affinity for groove aka 'meat and twerk' ![]() To the extends, some ghost and monitoring spirits start to register account in order to join in the banquet ![]() Well, anything to keep the wait less traumatising. |
einsteino:Great. I wish you success. Please keep us on this thread abreast of your development when you start. |
einsteino:You are eligible to applied as the requirement for registration with NSE is 4 years post graduation experience and haven worked in an engineering firm and also currently working in an engineering firm is a advantage. Not having up to 4 years engineering practicing experience is not a barrier as the oral interview panel are more inclined to those currently practicing rather than those who are not. But i will personally advise you to give yourself one more year (maybe still Sept 2017 or atleast April 2017) except your practical engineering grasp is very sound. This is to avoid been judged as just meeting the minimum qualification and whose little error can adjoin as a need to still go back and gain more years of engineering experience. |
Dezzx:You can actually take your MSc as a working experience. NSE application depends largely in how your could present your case and defend you technical report. Your undergraduate or MSc project could be re-package to fit as a technical report as it forms part as of your experience. Though to be sincere, you have more to proof to the oral panel if you haven't worked at all as an engineer. |
Ojugunrege:It is an offense to do that, just like someone bearing doctor when he isn't qualify. Don't mind that some put it and get away with it. |
accurateloye:Yes, you can join NSE as a graduate member GMNSE - Graduate Member, Nigeria Society of Engineer. Been a graduate member already before applying for corporate membership gives you some points when you apply for the corporate membership. Though isn't a must to be graduate member before apply for corporate membership. You apply for corporate membership of NSE 4-5 years after graduation but you can apply for graduate immediately after graduation. |
The pleasure from cheating is just overrated, there is nothing as gratifying as a faithful and committed partner - it heightens your sense of purpose. Cheating is the strategy of the devil to keep men in aimless pursue because he fears the strong direction, leadership and coverage a non-cheating man provides to his family. #TeamFaithful #TeamOneManOneWoman #TeamOneGuyOneBabe |
Andytoc:Congratulations to you. Your celebration shall be permanent. Pls, furnish the house with info like, your course of study, the role you applied for, when did u do ur phone interview and when u did ur SRD. And any other info that would give others a sense of direction of this recruitment. Note, you are not oblige if you do not feel comfortable to do so. Cheers. |
iceberg54:That is great. Congratulations. No, I didn't withdraw it. I waited till a decision was made on it. Though they didn't overlook the date discrepancy. I have reapply again. Can you share your application to approval timeline with the house. We need to connect, are u in Nigeria currently or in UK? When do you plan to enter oz. Remember, the 476 grant is not the final bus stop itself but a step towards PR. |
tafrica:It seems all the persons that apply for this has all forgotten about it. |

So this is how Q1 finally rolls away . . . . Where is that guy always 'shouting' march? |
Swimgood:All the best bro. |
It is simple to know if it is scam or not. For now, one can't say for sure though if appears fake but I will advise that u play along. But when they ask you to pay any money, then read the writings on the wall. Shell will never ask her candidate for money. |
This exercise must end in praise in my mouth. |
anuma1:animal - sounds just like ur name. |
scrollmeout:Congratulations. So encouraging. Kindly add the areas where you claimed points and what was the total points you claimed. |
xavier0327:That is true, even the little girls standing. |
Hello, please i need advice. I submitted an application on 29th of December 2015 online for a 476 subclass visa. I did IELTS exams on the 9th of January 2016. I was contacted by a CO on 2nd of March 2016 and told that my english language test result cannot be accepted because it was written AFTER the date i lodge my application, and that i should provide an English language test result that was written prior to lodging the application. I do not have any english language result written prior to submitting the application, the only english language result i have is the one written after i submit the application. I have reply them that i dont have any other english language result written before the date i lodge the application. I am wondering, do i stand a chance? Can the date difference be overlooked as they haven't gotten back to me since then. I am thinking of withdrawing the current application and applying again since the english test result i have now will then be before the application. What is your advice please? Or should I wait until IMMI make their decision before lodging another application (if their decision turns out negative). Is there any implication of withdrawing an application and then re-applying for same class of visa again? Sorry for the many questions in one post. Thanks for your help. |
RedReact:Yes, but one still have to earn the normal points to apply. |
Uchboggy:How can I not be serious about it. I have the draft of the agreement, is just to finish off the specifics when I get anyone interested. Signed it off in the presence of a witness and make it a legal document. It better to part with a bit when one get it than lose it all if one didn't. |
sexyjob:How can risk be managed with a joke. |
Risk management is an important aspect of life. Whether it is this month or not, NLNG will surely call one day. To reduce the risk of losing out completely if you aren't call, I will advise potential GTs to find some other potential GTs in the recruitment process to negotiate and sign a "minimum damage agreement" (MDA). MDA is just a legally signed agreement that if I am call and employ and u weren't call , I will give a certain percent (maybe 10%) of my pay for certain period (maybe 1 year) and vice versa. And if both of them are called or if none of the them in the agreement are called, then nobody pays anybody. A pretty way to ensure you gain something no matter how the die is toss. ![]() Anybody interested in the proposal and sealing a MDA agreement? |
kenosky:Why should those expecting the call continue as if they weren't waiting for any call? While that is the re-echoing advise been given here ever since, I wouldn't want you to just give same advise but will like to know why u are re-sounding it? What have you seen, heard or experienced that inform your advise. I am not saying the advise is off point but want an insight to your reasoning before the conclusion. Thanks. |
Bambizzle4k4556:First, you need an engineering degree from a country that is sign to the Washington accord (of which UK is signatory), the degree must have been completed not more than 24 months ago as the time of application. Secondly, the applicant should not be more than 31yrs of age as the time of application. Those are the two major criteria, every other thing is just supporting documents u need to summit like English language test result, birth certificate, degree certificate or statement of result, transcripts etc Check further details here. https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/476- |
iceberg54:They don't always request additional document. Once you visa is granted they will give some months within which you will expected to arrive oz. It is usually more than six months though. Your 18 months visa grant start counting from the time you arrive oz. |

I have replied your email. |
iceberg54:The time varies, but it was about a space of 2 - 3 months in general. A third friend just got his own yesterday and submitted around 2nd week of December, 2015. I submitted mine on the 29th of December last Year. Yet to receive final decision but have been contacted once by a CO to request for an additional document. So you will have to relax, that was how their status was until they received their approval mail. This 476 subclass visa is almost a sure banker if u meet the criteria. |
Bambizzle4k4556:I guess your MSc is from UK. Then u can apply for Australia visa subclass 476. It allows recent engineering graduate from countries sign to the Washington accord to apply for a 18months temporary visa. The visa allow u to work full-time or study if u want. But u must be less than 31 years and apply within two years after graduation. The beauty of this visa is that u don't need to show any fund whatsoever. And it almost guarantee if u meet the criteria. Two of my friends has gotten it this year and am waiting for mine. This visa is not popular in Nigeria bcoz Nigeria is not a signatory to the Washington accord, so engineering graduate from Nigeria uni is not eligible. But u having a UK master engineering degree can apply (even if ur first degree is from Nigeria). |
