Abeg, who knows the current price of Police certificate in 9ja at the moment? I'm hearing different prices.
Btw, do I need to certify it or the PCc itself will suffice. I saw in Canadian website where they made mention, "Police certificates can be certified at your nearest Nigerian embassy or consulate for a fee", will this be necessary for people abroad?
Thanks |

Landing gist coming soon. Congrats dear. How long did it take you to get PPR after ADR submission? Thanks |

GraciousWords: No, I don't think so. IMO they are just trying to verify that the business really exists and one way to do so is to see evidence of taxes paid to the government.
Give them the tax receipts, let them give you your PPR.
Congrats in advance! Thanks for the response. I just made payments for the tax which bore recent dates, will this be a problem or they are more interested to confirm that the taxes were paid regardless of dates of payments. Just a bit curious. |

GraciousWords: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence/police-certificates.html
For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued AFTER the last time the applicant lived in that country. Thanks for pointing this out however, a week ago, I got Police clearance request for the country I currently live in in addition to Schedule A. When I was about making submission today, I got another same Schedule A request and Police clearance request. There was no mention of the country for the Police certificate but it is likely 9ja. Meanwhile, since I have not been in 9ja since the last submission of the 9ja Police request, from the link posted, it says, "For any other country, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row", does this mean there is no need to submit a new 9ja Police request? What is your take? |

@GraciousWords @Dimple10 and to all;
I got an ADR for tax income for my biz. Providing this is not a problem however, my question is, is there any certain threshold that they expect to justify the activities of the biz?
Thanks in anticipation to your response. |

Hey guys, for Schedule/Form A, the box for University/College; for one with MSc, will this box be the right box to tick or the other box with "Trade school or other post secondary school".
Thanks. |

Hello guys, I just received ADR to submit Schedule A, PCC and Medicals.
Could this be a sign of PPR being close?
Meanwhile, the last GCMS notes I received around Mar this year mentioned my medicals has been extended till next year but, this new medical request seemingly indicates that the extension was not correct or perhaps the agent did not go through the file thoroughly. |

Dimple10: same dec 2020 aor and same medicals passed 28th May 2022. guessing it's Accra VO.
nothing to do except chill and wait tbh. I've found that our mails are being read and ignored because i've been doing at least 3 emails a day since last month and i got 2 random generic responses just last friday that application is on queue and to do nothing.
Final option is writ of Mandamus if you have money to spare. Yeah more or less same date the medical was passed (extended) but VO is Warsaw |

N/B this will in no way affect my CRS score at ITA .
Thanks folks |

Already ordered for GCMS though I'm hopeful it should be coming anytime soon however, the previous GCMS notes showed literally nothing other than the medical extension confirmation. Haven't tried the call option but will consider it. sayoberry: I think you should call or order gcms notes |

Anyone with Sep-Dec 2020 AOR? Mine is Dec 2020 though, no update whatsoever other than that my medicals was extended late May 2022, contacted the VO via email and they just a gave a typical vague response that my application is still under processing. No ADR or any other request. Folks, what do you reckon I do to hasten things? Feedback will be appreciated.
Many thanks. |

Saintee2009: You don't need to worry yourself about this. This is just an officer documenting the processing of the eligibility. Like Gracious said, the assessment page shows the summary of the current status of the eligibility. Also, the last 3-4 pages gives an indepth into what the officer thought. Just check the notes section. Thanks for your input, the most recent comment was on the note section - Notes 1 to be precise which reads, "Reassessment granted: Client is exempt from completing additional medical exam for their PR application as per the temporary Visa public policy. Please reassociate the IME number to the Visa file if the new validity date is not reflected in the system". I have attached the screenshot for your perusal just in case there's any more insight you can deduct from it. Thanks.

Hello folks, on going through my GCMS notes, I noticed a lot of comments that causes even confusion contrary to my expectations of providing a more clarity on one's application status. I noticed my "Eligibility" and "Status" have been changing from "Calculation in progress" to "Passed" and "Not Started".
I have uploaded the screenshots of the GCMS notes detailing this, can my experienced brethren throw more light on this, please?
Thanks.

Saintee2009: Good evening guys. Please I want to ask if its possible for background checks to be cleared and Eligibility still on Review Required because that's what a call centre told us this afternoon. Brief summary Feb 2020 AOR March 20202 (Eligibility RR) LONG SILENCE Upfront medical Feb 2022 GU (BC changed to "Not Applicable) March 2022 ADRs (Schedule A, PCC and Remedicals) March 7th 2022 GU (BC changed back to "We are processing blah blah) March 18th, 2022
Only to call IRCC and hearing gibberish talks. Hi mate, what triggered the RR status in your eligibility? |

Hi folks. I got my GCMS notes for the second time and I noticed the comment on Note 1 which was not there on the 1st GCMS notes I requested:
"Reassessment granted: Client is exempt from completing additional medical exam for their PR application as per the temporary Visa public policy. Please reassociate the IME number to the Visa file if the new validity date is not reflected in the system".
As per the second sentence in the quote above, does it in anyway entail that PPR is close? Or what can one deduce from this, please?
Any comment will be appreciated.
Thanks folks.

If your medicals shows "expired" then it literally means it has expired, lol. If they extended it, you would still see it in the GCMS note. You can either wait till they ask you for re-medicals or you do upfront. Rahl007: Hey guys, quick one please. My AOR is December 8th 2020 and from my last Gcms notes medicals is passed - expired. Now because my COR is Ireland, I don’t know if it’ll be extended or not. I’m waiting for the gcms notes I ordered a few weeks ago. As at December 2021, info sharing was complete and criminality passed but eligibility and security not started even after a year lol. So my question is should I go for a Remed (costs 365 euros here or should I just keep waiting for an update.
Also my app from the last gcms notes shows secondary office - centralized intake office (I never see people say this, I mostly see things like Ottawa, Montreal, Accra etc) My Primary office showed - London
Does this mean the app is processed in the secondary first and then passport submitted to the primary?
Apologies for the long text and thanks |

ednut1: you this dude again hiding under F moniker you clearly know nothing about express entry but you dey chook mouth. Some people have gotten PR after sending emotional webforms, some got using a Canadian MP to intervene on their behalf, the former immigration minister of Somalian descent used to intervene and people got ppr one or two days after they messaged him. The prime minister’s mandate this year includes improving the processing times. They know there is an issue with their immigration process when compared to places like UK or USA. many of the government agencies here behave like Nigerian civil service in terms of speed of work ( not corrupt sha) . Stop coming here to type nonsense. Nice point but, could still share your point without directly attacking this person. The poster is just airing his views and does not intend to mislead anyone here. Let's be constructive in our criticisms, please. Thank you and God bless. |
