Good one.

What I think we need most as a matter of urgency in Nigeria is re-orientation as a people because I see no reason why someone will sell a land and want to resell in the nearest future. Or someone won't make proper enquiries before buying a parcel of land.

My thought too oo . I had linked my bvn but it is now asking for NIN and I chose for demotion of account than to but my NIN there.
That's too much to ask. I did not even give my former company my NIN, and I did not receive a CUG line because of that. I didn't even bother.

My privacy means a lot to me.
Business › Re: NIN/BVN: Opay To Log Out Accounts By March 1, Issues 5m Cards by dfrost: 9:53am On Jan 25, 2024
NIN? No.

That's too much PII to be given away. You can't have the two. No way.

It all depends. On the labour side of things, will the new owners absord the staff they met or lay them off?

Exactly 💯.

These are the same set of people who have held millions of Nigerians by the neck. Only when it starts reducing the cents in their bank accounts, will they go public and beg for public empathy.

Politics › Re: Marketers Will Pay Naira For Dangote Fuel, Says IPMAN by dfrost: 5:45am On Jan 24, 2024
Laird:
Good analysis from a different point

But Nigeria is still an import dependent country

Most things are imported apart from crude oil and the population is still growing and it is going to take.a lot of low interest loans and effort to ensure imports are down at least 80 percent

Petrol aside
I was waiting for this comment as I didn't want to flood the thread.

The primary advantage we have based on Dangote's refinery is there might be no more scarcity of petroleum products.

Aside that, Dangote is a business man. Plain simple. If it was easy to build a refinery, others would have done it.

I really would have typed a lot to respond but no I won't. I don't have the time.

Why can't we carry lunch around, if that saves us the degradation of our environment.?

The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment & Water Affairs should calm down and take things easy. This is peoples solely source of income and I believe there should be time frame to this.
Baba I no gree for this one abeg.

People should learn to have a plate for taking for meals from restaurants. Honestly, we need to enforce this all over Nigeria. The environment is something else.

I know how you feel, but trust me, sons never forgets those who love them especially their mother.

Please for the sake of his future, allow him to go. This is something people are looking for NGN30m+ to get run out but you son has it on a platter of gold.

Madam you are actually being paranoid. Honestly.

This is your son. He's not denying you. Leave him to secure a better future, albeit not a guarantee but it is still better than Nigeria.

If you have established a good relationship with your son, the you are good.

Please allow him to go.
