I have a friend who just recently got admitted to study medicine while his mate have graduated from the course he was studying before dropping out due to lack of interest.

It is good to identify your passion early in life.

I wrote jamb 9th times though to study medicine but I didn't get it.. I latter discovered that it wasn't my passion so I lossed interest.

I latter settled for engineering and technology and my passion lies here. Learning one or two skills related to my course of study as been helpful


Choose school that would be easier to get in, u know the competitive nature of getting admission in that faculty??

That is the mistake that youths in their 20 tees make while in the university.
Some out of ignorance while others out of lack of planning for their future always depending on their parents for everything.

I lost my dad in my 300l first semester no body gave me the jerk to start planning for my future and life after school. I used the opportunity of IT(industrial training) as an engineering student to go learn solar panels installation, I grabbed what I could learn but wiring was a bit confusing so when we resume school I registered to learn Electrical installation, so far I have gone far in terms of wiring of a house, surface wiring, conduit wiring.

Next skill for me is HVAC, and RAC(refrigeration and air conditioning) because it is align with my field of study.


While I am busy learning all this my course mate some too relax without direction...


Electrical installation will make you to understand any kind of wiring, so that will make DSTV, solar,and CCTV installation much easier because that's the background.

I have already design my business Card myself on Electrical installation and I am open to render my services to customer while in school studying engineering...

For the first question, yes, but basic knowledge of Electrical wiring is necessary.

2. Depends on the area and the plan, in Lagos, it's between the range of 10K - 15K per panel, then, the more the panels the lower the price.

I am studying MEng in school, I registered for a vacational skills acquisition on solar panels installation (the skill acquisition program is yet to Kickstart) and after that I will pay to learn Electrical installation in order to be grounded on solar installation..

I have questions for you.

1) can one practice solar panels installation without being an electrician ??

Lemme tell you a true-life story that happened to me.

As a man never disclose what you have in your bank account to your wife or anybody, they have no business with it. If u want to live long don't do it. Let them be contended with what you can give to them to take care of the family..

This disclosing of stuff is one of the things that killed my father.


My father made me and my brother his next of kin immediately he died suddenly my step mother conieved with the bank manager went to court and Forged fake documents putting herself and her children above our names without our concents and removed the money in my father's account above 9M naira, bribed the manager and other people in millions to achieve this from my father's money. All this happened just 2 days that my father passed away.. I was told that the day my step mother asked my father how much he has in his account,my father got angry at her and didn't take it likely with her...



We are still recovering from this.


Maybe she finds out about the money and discide to kill him... Is only God that knows.


As next of kin I didn't have access to the money or consulted for any actions.....

My Mom is a blessing to me when my father is alive ,my mom contributed equally to my growing up as a child,,, while my father gaves his little money for feeding my mom doubles it so that me and my brothers will be comfortable.

Clothing, house rent, feeding is mostly my mom the only thing my dad contributed was his little money for feeding and school fees....
