sometimes am lost for words. protect local companies - 180 million people bear the brunt fresh air 2011 - same faces, same roles, just different seats. come Jesus come! i don tire! |
My question dear President Goodluck do you still live and work in this same Nigeria? - Within a week price of cement have gone up almost a 100% - Food prices are galloping higher every time you turn your back at the market - Industries are dying everyday and people are being laid of - Small businesses, sorry where are they? they dont exist! theres no financial sector to power them! - Did i just mention power, lets not even go there ![]() Please Mr. President stop all this political propaganda bullshit, pull up your trousers and lets get to work! |
wesley80:i really agree with you, its the same lazy bone ineptitude that pervades anything that has to do with government in this country. If this same power plant was dashed out to this same ceo would he have sat down on his lazy bum all this years making excuses while the demand for power kept on increasing? They all went to china, none of them was smart enough to learn the language?, o i forgot they were too busy spending our estacode! Bunch of I.D.I.O.T.S! |
shanda:Its not really about sorting, cause I've done that. The fact simply is catfish naturally are aggressive, and you will probably have a mortality rate of between 10-20% in each batch you stock. jjjkkkooo:Am really sorry to hear that. Catfish farming is not a "kick & start" business like a lot of self proclaimed fish experts are making it out to be. It requires a lot of Attention, Patience, Consistency. Its not a business that you set up and go do something else (at least at startup), it needs your continued attention. What i find bad about it is the ROI for the time , energy and capital tied down; for me it just aint worth it! My advice if you must try it out, start small. |
^^^ Cant blame them they have to check the BIG hole the stock market has dug in there pocket ; Na wa for this country o! |
Catfish farming really doesn't seem to be as easy as a lot of so called "fish experts" are making it out to be. Am currently thinking of setting up a fish farm so i decided to do a trial run at the back of my house first. Got to fibre glass tanks, fixed the plumbing, stocked the juveniles, then the challenges started showing up! -Catfish are territorial and damn aggressive! one of the major problems i have to date is mortality, no matter how much i feed them they keep on eating and attacking each other! The tank was recommended to grow to table size 500 catfish, i currently have just 400 2month old juveniles in each and they are still killing each other -At my current calculation the return on investment over 5 months wont really be worth it. you'll probably get between 10-15% ROI; but unfortunately a lot of your cash would have gone into fixed tied down assets ![]() -Middle men make all the money in this business! Except youre ready to create your own marketing channel you're at the mercy of middle men for the sales of your grown stock. Thank God i ran this experiment first! Do your study first before you dive in |
@poster i really dont understand what your getting at? ![]() |
Could u post Pix and VIN please, so we can have an idea of whats on offer. |
Na wa for this country sef |
When i saw the post i just had to click to see this "tear rubber N650k" Gulf 3; lo and behold see Nylon!!!!1 ![]() |
Finally an answer! femmy2010:I've always been under the impression that Cotonou cars are just naturally cheaper than Lagos cars. Its an eye opener to realize the difference is just simply you sticking the government for payable duties and hence facing the resultant customs whala! I'll definitely be heading to a car lot dealer to make my next purchase! |

GTB will definitely need a lot of customer awareness and staff effort to get this going. A very commendable and innovative product i must say, at least the nightmarish queue in the banks deposit section should disappear. But all the same GTB should take proactive actions to layout prospective challenges clients may have during the use of this machine' such as: 1. Network failure 2. Evacuation of cash promptly so the machines don't just shut down when filled 3. This is naija, from the demo pics the oyinbo is putting in mint notes, will the machine be able to count abused naira notes properly? 4. If me and the machine disagree on amount deposited i hope it will give me back my dough 0! ![]() |
texazzpete: femmy2010:Being Humble is not the same as being stupid I wonder why everyone always has a point to prove and always be right all the damned time! Folks reading this thread are not interested in your lectures and points (as by the nature of the this topic are off point). Please let it go or take your points and definitions somewhere else so we wont be distracted ![]() This topic is getting interesting though ![]() My question is can one legally import a automobile through the land port? and so pay the correct duty and get original papers? and how do you tell the difference between a fake customs duty receipt and a real one ![]() |
Akpojeweo:Thanks for the insight! |
femmy2010:my sincere apologies to all Cotonou car dealers', my aim was not to put anyone down in any way but to get an undiluted opinion from serviced clients. The best form of reference from a customers point of view is a fellow satisfied customer . What i would like to know from anyone that has bought from Cotonou ports are the following:1. Price difference wise compared to an auto parked on the lot in Nigeria was the cost savings more than 50-100k? 2. Did the Automobile arrive the same way you viewed it in Cotonou? 3. How long did it take to deliver? 4. If you've been using it for a while have you had any customs whala traveling interstate? 5. On the whole if you look back and had it to do all over again would you buy from the car lot or go to Cotonou? Please only response needed are from individuals that have purchased there automobiles from Cotonou! |
There are a lot of threads touting the proposed cost savings and ease of getting a better deal by purchasing your car from coutonu. I've never done this before but with some many of these chaps bombarding the Nairaland boards am beginning to actually consider the option. Then coming back to my senses i thought what the heck lets hear from the horses mouth! If its been such a bargain we should have a ton of satisfied clients to give prospective "cautious" clients like myself there side of the story. So if u've ever bought a car from coutonu and you would humbly give us your experienced opinion the floor is all yours ![]() |
sometimes you just cant help but laugh on nairaland ![]() |

Well @ poster am actually already doing the same experiment you did, and thanks to GOOGLE am sure i should end up were you did ; By the way do people actually pay for the information you sell rather than just google it .Just curious o |
Bros with such a wonderful writeup i was actually expecting to see your local feed formulation posted ![]() |
Yea the manager has surely gone bunkers . A 12 year old oddessy with less space than the newer 2000 trim for N1.1 ![]() |
SOLD!, thankss everyone |
@poster This incidence is not about the brand of the station, but the unscrupulous owners and there staff that manage the outlet. The mobil on your side might be bad whilst on the other side of town you get excellent service. What i've learnt to do is to use a jerry can for purchase to guage and simply pick out the good stations to regularly buy from. I really just dont buy petrol just anywhere. |
@ poster; I guess by now you should realise that the solution wont show up on nairaland. That aside; why so desparate for the "date" girl? And i definetely hope that the reason youre looking for a date is not to practice sexual exploits cause thats a road that should be left untaken till the alter. Theres nothing wrong with being a virgin till you get married. It shows that you respect and love God and can keep sane in this crazy world we live in. Also a relationship does not start with "dating" a girl, do you have any girlfiends? (i mean that are just friends) if not go find some without any ulterior motives and just hang out and be there friend, real relationships and built bros one step at a time. All the best |
have a great weekend with this system. still available |

; Na wa for this country o!
