I will never advise my son to play for this country— Ex-Super Eagles Defender, Taribo West says as he Laments Neglect of Late Peter Rufai, Slams NFF and Lagos State at Funeral
Former Super Eagles defender, Taribo West, could not hold back his emotions on Friday as he spoke to journalists at the funeral of ex-Nigeria goalkeeper, Peter Rufai.
No be you sir west wey anoint Tinubu sey na God Choice for the nation? Na turn by turn
The ex-Inter Milan star, visibly shaken, expressed deep grief over the treatment meted out to Rufai after retirement, describing it as a sh@meful reflection of how Nigeria handles its football heroes.
“I share the p@ins and burdens with the Rufai family,” West said. “It is dishe@rtening that Lagos State and the Nigerian Football Federation dropped the buck on them.
This is not how a nation should treat those who gave everything on the field.”
Struggling to keep his emotions in check, West recounted how the news of Rufai’s de@th hit him harder than the loss of his own parents.
“When my mother passed, I didn’t shed tears. When my father d+ed in my hands, I didn’t cry.
But when Rufai d+ed, I had goosebumps and tears rolled down my cheeks. What kind of nation treats its heroes like this?”
The former defender accused football authorities of neglect, pointing to similar cases of late Nigerian stars Stephen Keshi, Rashidi Yekini, and Thompson Oliha, all of whom, he said, were abandoned in their final years.
“Imagine a family crying and begging among themselves just to raise money to bury a national hero.
That is m@dness,” West fumed. “With this kind of example, I would never advise my son to play for this country. Do we even have a football federation in this Nigeria?”
Taribo West ended his remarks by urging authorities to wake up to their responsibilities in honoring and supporting retired players who s@crificed for the country.

emraja: There is nothing wrong with this. Facebook should do what is needful. A certain amount of their revenue from the Nigerian populace ought to be paid to the government as tax.
To be looted baa?
They are fighting for their pocket and not for NIGERIANS
You are right sir, there is nothing in labour party BUT NIGERIANS ARE VOTING FOR PETER OBI or perhaps PETOBI AS OUR NEXT PRESIDENT AND NOT YOU BECAUSE YOU SELFISHLY JOIN LABOUR PARTY

My people, Mosquitoes or heat, which one can you manage while sleeping in the night?
I recently went to visit my mom at Sango ota and the visit was hell for me.... After one month I packed my bag and ran back here.
The heat was always bad in the night so I take my bath and dress light in the night to cool myself but alas my doom ... Immediately those mosquito fukas detects my entrance in dreamland, they start mining my blood. So I'll wake up and cover myself but heat go still show me shege, then I'll uncover myself and my blood get mined again ... So was the routine for one full month.
The worst part of the mosquito's battle is their wack 'humming' sound close to the ear .... I was so traumatized that I imagine hearing a mosquito singing Kiss Daniel 'Laye' song to my ear.
While naturally Ekiti is cold in the night, I can still manage Sango's heat but ladies and gentlemen I can't manage mosquitoes.
Is it even possible to have up to six kids without having a male child?
I have a friend, who wanted to have only 4 kids. He's now counting six and will count more because he has refused to have a male child.
When the wife gave birth to the fifth child, then my friend was very anxious to having a male child. But as soon as the news got to him that his wife gave birth to another female child, he send a message to his wife at the hospital not to come to his house with the child. He said his wife has a curse on her, that is why she refused to give birth to a male child. We had to beg him before he allowed his wife home.
The issure now is that his wife just gave birth to the sixth child again today, and another female child. He his just very confused right now.
He just told me now that people says the fault his not from her wife but rather on his side. And he want me to help him on what the problem is.
Pls nlanders, what do you think is the problem, and how can he give birth to a male child?
I THINK BOTH OF YOU HAS ISSUE, YOU BOTH NEEDS TO SEE A PSYCHIATRIC DOCTOR FOR CROSS EXAMINATION (not an insult plz) but you really needs to, bcs you shud have advised him immediately... I rejected the force when the opportunity came several years ago and until now, I will still reject it... A police officer almost waste a bullet on a commercial driver because of 100... Is this the force you wants us to join? We are better than dat sir... Ask one million Nigerians about the police force, 90 percent of them will not have any good thing to say about Nigeria police... PLEASE SIR, THE MENTALITY OF YOUR MEN NEEDS TO BE WORKED ON... if you see MOST of them on the way, there focus is just 100
This useless PDP lawyer, Ebun onagoruwa SAN for that matter , who stayed away from the panel for 56 times sitting of the panel, sat down in one beer parlour , wrote a minority report on the panel final outcome , that is clearly based on his emotions, full of bare face lies , countless inconsistency, childish errors, false assumptions.
Thi is against all known decency of legal profession, mischievously released his own version of his unsigned copy final report submitted to the governor, to the public through social media in senseless bid to tinted the original final report submitted to the governor by panel chairman, and make the final paper useless, worthless and unreliable.
Yeye people.
DON'T YOU THINK THAT YOUR GOVERNOR IS INSANE FOR PERSONALLY PICKING A PDP LAWYER IN THE PANEL?
Did you even read Ebun onagoruwa statement? I doubt if you did bcs if you wouldn't have said this trash....
