Contrary to your submission, most guys ask the work questions
not because they want to part with the ladies paycheck but for of the following;

1. When a lady is busy doing something(working) that left her with little or no time to do "olosho".

2. It's a prove that she can cater for her most basic life needs like, feeding, clothing, hair and transportation and never depending on sex or surogate daddy for survival.

3. Being a worker herself and knowing how hard it is to make money, she would appreciate any dime you give to her as a guy.

Anyone who doesn't earn a living isn't worth going in for a relationship wether you are a female or a male. There is nothing like adult baby and no free lunch even in Freetown.

Research has shown that people who are responsible for their financial burden tends to make better decisions and also tends to appreciate what others do for them because they know what it takes to earn.

Relationship isn't a poverty alleviation program and everyone who decides to go into it must come in with clean hands and not baggages.

Be ready to carry all her financial burden, and trust that she may use shaming tactics, lack appreciation since she doesnt know what it takes to make money. And it would be difficult to know if she is with you for your money.

True, men do not ask women for their money in the past, but women now are different from then. Back then, chastity was the norm, most of our parents married virgins, and women knew their duties to their home. Not now.

These ignorant ladies of today know nothing. I don't know who gave the impression that women of "those days" were liabilities who sat their asses down and waited on their husbands for everything. The so called housewives of those days were called housewives because they were not formally employed, but they did informal jobs to support their families. E.g hair plaiting, tailoring, petty trading, frying akara, food vendors etc. My point is, they were never liabilities. Wow! What a wasted generation. So sad.
