If you are not on Amazon, then you should be on Jumia or Konga... You cannot be buying, buying and buying....You also be selling something.

Let’s Talk About Scaling Your Brand on Amazon US I’ve spent a significant amount of time as an Amazon Marketplace specialist, specifically helping brands navigate the complexities of the US market to drive revenue. While platforms like Jumia and Konga are excellent for domestic growth, there is a massive global opportunity on Amazon that many Nigerian entrepreneurs have yet to fully tap into. I see sellers from China, India, and the Philippines leveraging the platform to build incredible global businesses. I believe we have the talent and products here to do the same, provided we have the right strategy. I’m starting this thread to offer some professional clarity. Whether you’re struggling with PPC, listing optimization, or understanding the logistics of the US market, I’m here to help. The Ground Rules: To make sure I provide the most value, I am inviting you to ask one specific question regarding your Amazon business or your plans to start one. Please be as detailed as possible in your query. The more context you provide about your product category or the specific challenge you’re facing, the better I can tailor my response and provide relevant resources. Let’s get your brand the global visibility it deserves. What’s the biggest hurdle you’re facing with Amazon right now?

She is just chasing clout with her review. She was a close person to the owner of the company bbased on what I read on Twitter but wanted to spoil their business for God knows why. That is not how to make a REVIEW of product. How are we sure her taste bud is good and she will pass basic taste test. There is an equipment for measuring sugar (refractometer). Did she used the equipment to measure the sugar content and compare with other tomato paste....yes I remember...did she measure the BRIX content of the tomato paste and compare with NAFDAC standard to be sure it was really above specification? Only facts win in court, not sympathy. They didn't beg you to buy so why give bad review on a subjective parameter. While someone is saying sugar is too much, another person will say sugar is ok or not enough. Sensory evaluation is subjective. It can only be made objective when instruments are used. This is a lesson to people who like to run down other people's businesses. You can only raise issue on Food Safety issue, not food quality. |

OgbeniOja1:Hope you get the main point from the story. That is more important |
HARD LESSON FROM THE UNREGISTERED VENTURE Once upon a time in the bustling city of Oshodi Lagos, there lived a woman known as IYA LATI. She was a visionary entrepreneur with a heart full of dreams and a head full of ideas. Iya Lati was a very good cook. She had a small canteen where she sold original amala and abula with different kinds of meat. Her amala was known to be always hot and the soup was very local and tasty. As the days passed, Iya Lati's canteen gained popularity. Her delicious amala canteen attracted customers from far and wide. The word spread like wildfire, and soon people were lining up to buy hot amala from her canteen. Iya Lati seemed to be the bride of both married and single men because of her very delicious meal. She seemed unstoppable. However, in the whirlwind of her newfound prosperity, Iya Lati overlooked one crucial detail: registering her business. Her focus was solely on cooking and selling, never considering the legal formalities that came with entrepreneurship. Years rolled by, and Iya Lati’s small food canteen grew into a big restaurant in Oshodi, a densely populated city in Lagos. Her brand, "AMALA IYA LATI," became a household name, known for its tasty and savour. It wasn't long before others noticed her rising star. One fateful morning, Iya Lati woke up to a letter that would change everything. It was a CEASE and DESIST order from a company claiming to own the rights to the name "AMALA IYA LATI." Panicked, Iya Lati couldn't believe her eyes. How could this happen? Frantic, Iya Lati sought legal advice, only to discover the harsh truth. Because she had never registered her business, she had no legal claim to the name. Someone else had seen the potential in her brand and seized the opportunity. Defeated, Iya Lati had no choice but to rebrand her thriving business. The process was painful and costly. She had to change everything - the logo, the signage, the souvenirs etc. The loss of the name she had come to associate with was a bitter pill to swallow. As Iya Lati rebuilt her brand under a new name, she vowed never to make the same mistake again. She registered her new business promptly and learned the importance of legal protection for her business. The experience taught Iya Lati, a semi-literate woman a valuable lesson. She became an advocate for aspiring food entrepreneurs, urging them to prioritize legal matters alongside their business pursuits. Unfortunately, the new name of her business did not enjoy much success like the AMALA IYA LATI and the business later died. So, dear aspiring entrepreneurs and seasoned business owners alike, take heed from Iya Lati’s tale. Register your business, protect your brand, and ensure your dreams have a solid foundation. Don’t build a beautiful house on a piece of land you have not acquired. Registering your business with CAC is your plot of land. You may contact gabicoinnovations@gmail.com to get your business/company name registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission.

This should be on front page. For those who thinks this is a gimmick, kindly log in to INEC IRev and check for yourself. |
Falana can be a legal luminary but he is wrong on this one. The constitution specifically said and the FCT (even if it is acknowledged as a State). The constitution says you must have two-third of other states AND this state (FCT). Why the emphasis on the FCT, because it is the seat of power and house diverse professionals and diverse ethnic group. Falana is losing relevance just as Keyamo |
This is shocking and unbelievable. Nassarawa results were uploaded for Lagos State. A sample of polling units were downloaded and they were all Nasarrawa states. Wahab Folawiyo in Ikoyi Alagbon Entrance in Ikoyi Idado in Igbo Efon And others. You can download randomly and check too. See evidence below

Just for the laughs |
This topic is real today. Lagos State Government has been abandoned while Sanwo-Olu is packing the fund to sponsor his OGA at the TOP. All wise and we'll meaning people living in Lagos will revolt with their vote, by voting out an unserious person being the governor of a economic-important state like Lagos. |
diadem10:Point noted. Tinubu has shown that he lacks the competency to unite Nigeria. Can you tell us what makes Shettima more competent than others? |
This is good. |
TheOldGods:Your maths was wrong! You cannot compare someone who earns in dollar and spend in naira with someone who earns in naira and spend in naira too. Time value of money comes to play. While one may work 4 hours per day and earn N4,000 at N1,000 per hour. The other will work same 4 hours and earn $60 per day at $15 per hour. The difference is the time value of money. The other will work 9-5 to earn |
Hey guys, It is with mixed feeling that I receive the news of our naira devaluation. I feel bad because this will certainly affect the cost of goods but I am happy at the same time because I also earn in dollars with Amazon KDP. Many Nigerian youths only use their phone to surf the internet, read gossips and chitchat but the smart and wise youth are cashing out BIG time with Amazon KDP I keep getting royalties in dollars for the low contents books I publish. You don't need to be an avid reader or great writer to publish books. All you need is to know what and what to put together and start making dollars. Tinubu will surely win without the christians. And when we set up the government, we will treat the christians in the way they deserve, they cannot reap where they did not sow. That is the joke in a dream of a drunkard |
Pastor Adeboye said he has never voted before. That is not a good example. If you don't vote, why are you encouraging your congregation to vote, sir? If I am a member of RCCG and some of my friends are in APC, PDP, Labour and APGA, that means I should not vote because they are all my friends. Some people picked their reputation above telling the truth. After a candidate has emerged now, some pastor's will be claiming the glory that they have prophesied that the candidate will win. They will say the candidate came to them and they told him he will win. Some pastor's even said they don't know if election will hold in 2023. May God have mercy on his church. Many of our leaders will not speak the truth because they are afraid of their reputation. We cannot befriend the good the bad and the ugly..... When a man enjoys admiration from all walks of life....it is because such a man does not speak the truth as it is. As they hated Jesus, that is how you will be hated.... Men love darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. A man of truth cannot live together with a man of lie for long. |
Oxb90:I didn't know if he was compensated. Taking a police or soldier may look as if I had an ulterior motive. And if I am to take a lawyer along. What would I say, he or she has come to do with me. A witness? |
Oxb90:According to news, the judge asked that the company should compensate the complainant but whether they did or not I cannot tell. Though, they sound cordial on phone. I just don't want to lose guard. |
Hello Everyone, I kindly request your pieces of advice. I bought some products manufactured by a multinational company in Nigeria (company name withheld). I discovered few of the products are substandard or had product defects. As usual, I had already written it off as loss, then I realised if I didn't raise alarm, they might not know and they might continue to produce such substandard product. I decided to send a mail to the company directly instead of complaining to the consumer protection council. The company has responded to my mail, requested for my name, location and phone and that I should provide them more information on the product in terms of date of production, best before and batch number. Which I have done. Few days ago, I was called and requested to visit their office at my convenience on the issue and to come with the defective products. Should I go alone or with a lawyer? Should I go with the defective product or not? Should I now engage the Consumer Protection Council or continue direct communication with the company These are thoughts running my mind. Kindly comment or advise. NB: This company had been sued few years ago on a similar case of substandard product. |

Somebody that is just recovering. I hope is BP does not go up! His time is up in politics. He gave us Buhari, He can't decide for us again. Nigerians will rather pick another incompetent leader than allow a grammy award winning corrupt person |
Reno Omokri....your brain needs resetting on this one. You mean you prefer Tinubu to Osinbajo? What is backstabbing there? Was Tinubu not looking for a sellable candiddate when he chose Osinbajo? Was there an agreement that Osinbajo must never contest for President after his tenure as Vice President? The fact that someone has helped you does not mean they should control your future aspiration. Murphy's Law states that WHATEVER CAN HAPPEN, WILL HAPPEN. Do you know how many people Tinubu has backstabbed where he tries to claim godfather over people's ambition. Ambode is an example Lagos is yet to recover after Ambode was disgraced out and Sanwolu in. Tinubu, it is time to face defeat that you have made others go through in politics. |
ALL TINUBU supporters are crying now because Osinbajo, Buhari's anointed has spoken. Head 2 Head....Nigerians prefer Osinbajo to Tinubu The game is between Peter Obi and Yemi Osinbajo What do you think? |
somebody wan collect wotowoto Interesting

It is going to be an interesting match |

obiekunie01:It sounds good but on the other end, exportation is very important for any economy. China may be enjoying their population advantage but a saturation period will soon come. No country can isolate itself and prosper the way it ought to. Your power is determined by your level of influence. |
Many men may not agree with that statement but that is true. As a man, you need wisdom to lead your home. Women want to spend their money on what they like And want men to spend their money on them. Since I started making extra income online, I don't even bother to complain of how much i'm spending on my family. In fact, it is my wife by herself that will be trying to drop money so she does not look like not contributing anything. Fact is, women love men who spend on them. But correct women like my wife will always find a way to give back to you from their own money. So instead of complaining, start a side hustle that will increase your income so you can spend well. The Bible I believe says But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. When my wife saw that I am dropping money without asking her to contribute, she quickly went and start a side business to also make extra money so she can also contribute... To all the men reading this, our women deserve the very best. Na we need to double our hustle.
