BeeBeeOoh: I'm afraid to say that this COVID-19 stuff in Nigeria is beginning to look like a scam. Because, I've lived more than 3 decades in this very country and I've come to realize that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE IN NIGERIA.
Firstly, USA, UK, Italy, Germany, France etc that has better hospitals than us doesn't discharge COVID-19 patients the way Nigeria does. I mean, what drugs do our doctors use on the infected patients that made them recover from the virus?? Why can't they make the drugs known to all of us. Our Health Minister Need To Tell Us Something We Don't Know
Secondly, why is that the result of the infected people per day always come after 9:30pm or mostly mid night's?
Thirdly, Anambra index case was a lie because I know the man that was reported to have been infected with the virus very well, the man was never infected in the first place it was just hoax and people swallowed it hook, line and sinker. God help us
I'm just a concerned Nigerian think out loud You are a very ignorant man. |

Nope! But disobey in a kind way. Don't be like those Nairalanders that derail Christianity and Islam threads because they feel religious people are ignorant. |

atheistandproud and ZesusHVWritter I am not supporting any brand. Just saying Tecno and Infinix have more presence here and they consider the cost of running After sales service + Marketing.
About your experiences at their service centers, try reading about other service centers even the great Apple Genius Bar. |

Maybe Tecno sells their customer service as a premium. They have better support than Samsung sef. Not to talk of xiaomi, and Nokia. |

Christianity Etc › The Church And Digital Technologies by directonpc(op): 4:28am On May 03, 2020 |
Hello people. This is my first post here. We know that these are challenging times for the global community. Worship centres, parishes and churches that wish to follow guidelines by local authorities are currently running services/mass with less than 1% of their usual attendees.
Digital technologies are aiding worship even before the pandemic, for example, I use the popular CATHOLIC MISSAL FOR NIGERIA android app and it has helped me on many occasions to follow mass. We have bible apps that help us carry a bible everywhere we go. Minus people checking Facebook, Whatsapp and others in the church, smartphones are really helping people worship better.
In the pandemic era, churches are using live streaming platforms like YouTube to stream Sunday service/mass to worshipers at home. Though nothing replaces good old physical presence/offline worship, one can only imagine how the current situation will look like. Payment processing in Africa isn't as robust as it is in Europe and N/America where it is possible to send money with just an email address. Platforms like YouTube even let viewers donate money to a live stream session right there as they watch and this could be a seamless way of making offerings and seed sowing.
The church and digital technology make a good combo. We can worship better and preach love, salvation and hope even during the pandemic using technology. Kudos to all the innovative worship centres out there. God bless Nigeria and Happy Sunday. |

zedman1: Exactly, I've never liked governor Ortom for any reason, as a Matter of fact, initially I felt it was highly unreasonable for Ortom to reveal her identity almost immediately, even before NCDC announced the results, but lately I'm beginning to see the woman is equally full of drama, just like Ortom.... Birds of a feather. gbam! You nailed it. That's why nobody want to get involved. |
