simpleseyi:@simplseyi, go on deceiving yourself with the picture of a half-dressed woman sitting beside Jonathan in a show.. that semi-clad woman sitting beside president Jonathan is an artist. She makes a living dressing that way. she does not spend the days in purday in a harem waiting for another person to bring her food home. Jonathan sitting beside the woman was doing his business; he was busy thinking about the popularity he must gain as he sold himself to the populace in that show. it is simpleseyi who looks lustfully and that can commit sin watching that photo. Say no to dictatorship. Anybody has a right to wear anything at any time, at anywhere - provided the sex organs are not exposed. |
adebisicutie:Did you even know the PWH REPORT did not unveil stolen billion dollars? Semi-literate fellow. The Report rather cautioned that NNPC should evolve better accounting methods. Don't believe that APC governmrnt will now pounce on NNPC and Nigeria's oil sector proceeds as before, while the oil and gas pruducing areas that voted PDP watch on. Political and economic restructuring is imperative in Nigeria, not people doing all sorts of damages on Nigeria to become president solely to take control of oil revenues. |
Protesters too late. The policeman ought to have received instant justice - tyre with petrol - after he shot dead the driver. Government did not give the police gun to kill people over an argument , police was given the gun to protect people's lives. |
tkcosby02:Why? Is the Tinubu clearance not coming from the US ambassador who went into INEC inner vote counting chambers while presidential election votes were still being counted, and announced that even his American state never had the high tech card reader which Nigeria uses for election? Imagine a high tech which Nigeria has but the US could not have. The ambassador sensed that APC was wining hence he came out to authenticate whatever the final results and pre -empt any argument that the election was not fair. But the last presidential election was the most unfair in Nigria's modern elections, an election influenced by six years of violence. APC political machine is working king for it so far, but how far can it go? Nigerians are not going to be majorly blind for long . |
Next, one day the ambassador will declare that at no time did Buhari tell Muslims to ensure that Sharia criminal laws are implemented all over Nigeria. Power can buy favour. |
sewentybaba:Lol, wind of madness - a serious person must call it so. Change to the worse. |
swezenberg:Insensitivity to your surroundings - what does it bring? For now, too many people in SS and SE see Buhari victory as a gang-up by Yoruba and north against the SS and SE. You may deny that - and continue your bare-faced celebration. By the way, are you convinced that in Nigeria flowing with all sorts of young and highly-educated people, Buhari victory as president is it? |
The cyclist, including even every almajiri in the north, knows the implication of Buhari capturing power now. But most southern Nigerians are politically naive, such that they do not even recognize or know the political disequilibrium in Nigeria which makes southerners fight against themselves and look on like Lucozade as affairs in Nigeria are dictated by the north. Every northerner knows that with Buhari presidency now, the existing political structure and unitary government system that enable northerners carry home most of Nigeria's revenues stand the chance of being prolonged for more donkey years. The political system and lopsided political structure heavily favour north but heavily weigh down on development on south of Nigeria. Too many new cities and infrastructure that sprang up in the north of Nigeria since states were created come through north carting home most of Nigeria's revenues every month after revenue allocation meet in Abuja. Land mass or population (apparently used as criteria by northern soldiers in creating the 36 states) is never used in any federal country to create new federating units - states. Imagine soldiers dividing California or Texas in the US into many more states to get more revenues from Washington to California and Texas, and also increase their representatives in the US Congress. Southern Nigerians need to be taken under a tree in Kano to be taught politics of Nigeria by an almajiri. Worse, north has driven away most of southern Nigeria that used to live and enjoy the infrastructure of the north, yet north still carts away same proportion of revenues to its 19 states as before; while the SW and old SE regions slug it out daily over irrelevant talk about who owns Lagos. So the bikers and almajiris celebrating Buhari victory know what they are celebrating. |
sazycul:Western Education is Haram has taken over Nigeria, but some people don't know yet. Nigerians may return to the era where Nigerians had no mobile phone network while market women from Ghana, T ogo, and Cotonou had. Ban this, probe this , scrap that - no talk of creativity - all these flow from the mindset of dictatorship. When you scrap this, ban this, how many jobs have you created? You may even end up rendering people jobless. Above all, when you scrap and ban, how much can you build with the money saved, compared to the inconveniences your ban and scrap may cause to the citizens and the system? |
Buhari can even scrap sports from Nigeria, after all, Nigerians voted for that. Nigerians witnessed it during Abacha regime which Buhari was a major decision maker, Abacha barred Green Eagles from international football for a long time. I remember JJ Okocha nearly crying before a German TV crew during Abacha regime: "even our football games, they have banned us from participating" Issue is that president Jonathan has demonstrated he is so clueless that he is now the only sitting president in history who is nearly being put to trial by a president-elect. Buhari now acts as President of Nigeria, he is putting Jonathan on near trial, even when Buhari is yet to be sworn into office, while the sitting present Jonathan, is on defensive in every sphere. Guess what tribulations await Jonathan after May 29, 2015. |
So far, Two Changes Buhari brought to Nigeria with his victory as president-elect: First Change: Any serving soldier can rise and topple a democratic government, the soldier rules, retires and later come back through any means to ask for votes, and possibly win a presidential election. Second Change: An elected government can be sacked with unleashing of violence against Nigeria, with the violent group openly declaring that its group is after sacking the president, even kidnap young Nigerians, and thus cow Nigerians into voting for known sympathizers and even suspected sponsors of the violent group. The advanced world may be looking at Nigerians as a most backward lot. |
Occult instead of hospitals. Backward and Awkward. You only hear of Lagos, Lagos, Lagos, strangers strangers strangers. Why? |
Funnicator:Meehhn, that Oba Akiolu of Lagos canal speech exposed his tribe as most backward o! Why does an average Yoruba crave one Nigeria, but still regard non Yoruba in Lagos as strangers? That's bush man mentality na!! Does not show education in the average Yoruba. |
midolian:Is Buhari a demigod that cannot be attacked in politics? If Buhari does not stomach criticism in politics, he has to stay behind in his Daura home. If you cannot stand the heat, gerroffffff the kitchen. I have said it several places that all the songs of impeachmeant against Fayose now are connected to the vindictiveness of Buhari over Fayose attacks on Buhari during the presidential election campaign. |
egift:Yeah, Nearly every thing about APC is surrounded by falsehood. APC lied Buhari to power. This Buhari was thrice rejected by Nigerians. |
Perhaps, only solution to South African blacks problems is return of Apartheid. Black South Africans are showing the world that they are subhuman. |
kestolove95:Nigeria's problems are taller than Buhari. Buhari is too old he can't solve one thousandth of Nigeria's problems. |
MoUTD:So the APC outgoing lawmakers must impeach Fayose before they go? That's vindictiveness. Foul play. That's. not how Oyibo who taught us democracy practice democracy. Ekiti people did the voting not Fayose, no matter the level of Fayose influence or intimidation. You can only intimidate and rig election where you have some popularity already, if you are not popular and rig election, the people will revolt. |
wengerjay:Fayose problems continue because he took on Buhari a lot during the presidential election, not that Ekiti law makers could not have ignored Fayose. Buhari is unforgiving, vindictive, does not fail to antagonize anybody that crosses his way badly. |
Buhari, Vendetta and Vindictiveness, these are all that are spurring this endless move to impeach Fayose. Or why can't Ekiti people ignore impeachment for the sake of peace in Ekiti and wait to vote out Fayose a few years from now? During the presidential campaign, Fayose hit Buhari hard. Buhari is yet not president, but the heat of vindictiveness is already around as seen in Ekiti Fayose. Buhari as HoS had to follow critic, Umaru Dikko, all the way to the UK. |
SeverusSnape:But the difference exists between northern Nigerians and black South Africans: northern Nigerians kill only fellow Nigerians because northern Nigeria wants political power to control oil revenues from the south of Nigeria. But South Africans kill fellow black people from anywhere with their excuse of being jobless. |
Black South Africans: From their ever allwowing the situation that prompted Apartheid in the first place; to making themselves the easiest preys to HIV among black people; to now killing fellow black people in South Africa; Black South Africans have continued to be a source of shame to the black race. When I remember what we put in from Nigeria to free black South Africans from crunchy and humiliating Apartheid, and now watch black South Africans attack fellow black Africans on the streets, disappointment and anger set in. |
[quote author=chiefinalowo post=32828179]This man should just keep quiet. He contributed to most of the problems we hin PDP.[/ Aliyu caused the break of PDP when he raised the issue of agreement by Jonathan to serve one term. Now Aliyu lost out in PDP but is trying here to make north see him as the lead politician in the struggle for power back to north. What a fractured country Nigeria is but loosely held together by crude oil from old south east of Nigeria |
Texcoco:You are fit to replace that Metu. Metu had every opportunity, protection and all advantages to spite fire in form of political campaign for Jonathan, but Metu went on AWOL, on sabbatical leave, during the last electioneering campaign. From his leave, Metu watched as Liar Mohammed weaved all sorts of stories of gross corruption and gross incompetence against Jonathan, sold that to the British and to the Americans, and also to the grassroots in Nigeria. Metu watched and was receiving his pay. |
BabaO2:Buhari invaluable? Only for dimwits. If Buhari becomes president, shortly after, you shall wske up and understand that you have been asleep. |
Yeah, Buhari is now a demigod for every body. Muazu, PDP Chairman said he won't insult Buhari for Jonathan. Metu is losing his job soon. Because Metu of the ruling party which was supposed to play offensive politicking during the last electioneering campaign was napping, as he played defensive politicking; while APC Lai Mohammed played it the way it is played everywhere these days - offensive politicking. Throughout the period of the last political campaign , Metu hardly campaigned for his party and candidate, as Lai Mohammed of the APC was "laing" Jonathan and PDP to political oblivion, some times with blatant falsehoods and unprintable insults for Jonathan. A few times Metu opened his mouth for campaign, they were like he was campaigning for the opposition APC. The result is: Metu is going home, with his PDP he was hired to speak for now in shambles. |
Opinedecandid:In future, the person you brand cetificateless, cattle rearer, serial election loser who refused three times to congratulate the opponents that defeated him, he will consolidate powers for only people of his tribe, deploy brutal dictatorship to silence opposition, refuse to be beaten by any body outside his tribe in any future election, ensure that he hands over power to one of his tribesmen, his tribesmen hardly see the rest of Nigeria as equal partners in Nigeria, he is experienced in politics of playing nearly only for the good of his tribesmen. People outside the man's tribe who are celebrating the man's victory today, such people have just a few months after the man becomes president to start gnashing their teeth in anguish. Mark today's date. GEJ did not leave a good succession legacy for Nigeria. |
You were cowed, overwhelmed, considered yourself a misfit, and never even campaigned for reelection, talk less, contesting the election. You even refused to tell your supporters that you we're not keen on contesting the election. The Fayoses who didn't know that you were not keen on contesting for second term are already bearing the brunt of your cowardly tilt. Now see how low you are leaving the country, apparently because you could not be man enough, or you want to leave the government cage, as you recently described it, to go and enjoy life in privacy. Your cluelessness may have taken Nigeria back to many decades more of civil, or even possible military dictatorship and back ward development. |
SLIDEwaxie:You think say you won the last election? You lost. Nigerial lost, too much. Or you dont believe say in Nigeria with all the young and healthy and thoroughly educated people., Buhari emergence as president is a setbaclk.. |
ulster:Lol!! So Hausa/Fulani and rest in the north no longer count to become Ministers ? Abi na so your change go be like? |
drsteroid:Ngige is a medical doctor better fit for Health Ministry. Or are we expecting square pegs in round holes government as usual? Change!! |
Jonathan of Otuoke has since been in a hurry to go and enjoy life while he is still young. He recently said he had been in a cage for 16 years in government. He did not even campaign for reelection. But before the campaign, he failed to tell his supporters that he was tired of being in government. This way, he wrecked the PDP which brought him to political prominence. If in six years in power Jonathan had successfully steered the restructuring of the undemocratic political structure which throws up people like him and Buhari as leader, Nigeria should have been better for it. Jonathan, hand over today. |
