Miss EZ:
Diva1 God bless u. No be say dem no knw, As it is written in the bible, a prophet isnt appreciated in his own home. all dis naija men will not appreciate us until some1 do dem strong thing
God bless you too my sistah smiley Honestly not even because I'm Nigerian too, Honeyguy I am presently in the US too and have been here for a while, you cannot compare Nigerian women to White women especially the negatives. You are implying that the negatives of a Nigerian woman far outweigh that of the western woman which is not true.

As Mccloud224 said, go and marry a white woman, bring her to Naija where there is hardship, and you gat no cash, then do the same with a Nigerian woman, come tell us the difference.
FamilyRe: Would You Prefer A Nigerian Lady For Marriage? by Diva1(f): 5:35am On Jul 25, 2009
honeyguy:
Most Nigerian women try to stay with us no matter what financial/educational stutus you find yourself in not always true
i aint saying all niger women are bad, just majority of em love you when u got the cash
white chicks aint saints either but they aint all about cash,
Honeyguy, it might not be always true BUT it applies to all women of all races. You lie when you say most white chicks are not all about cash. As Samparian mentioned before, which white woman have u seen with a Black guy that has no cash or good educational background whereas you see a Nigerian woman standing by her man in respective of no cash or good educational background.

How many threads or places have you seen women crying out, being battered by their men/husbands, all because they don't want to divorce or how many have you seen divorce because the husband/man got broke, it happens yes but how many have you seen compared to the whites/western world, any slight opportunity, they are out, and even do not leave empty handed.

Diva 1 God bless u, guys just de run me down for this forum. These are the same men that a naija lady will give up her life for and do everythn she can to make him happy and yet he will still be humping someone else somewhere(some girls do the same).

Make una just talk say una wan marry foreigner for visa and green card make we hear word.

The same way we have messed up chicks is d same way we have messed up guys.
As simple as that.

mostly white women and arabs
Oh please! stop generalising. Women are women everywhere, it all depends on the individual. How can you say most white women and arabs don't care about money? Not because I'm Nigerian but Nigerian women are better grin. How many Nigerian women do you see divorce at every little opportunity, be it financially or emotionally but the whites(some/most) before the blink of an eye, they are out.

Thanx for reminding mePlease stop making all these lame excuses. There's the height of good & the depth of evil in every man,it depends on which side you choose to scratch. The woman cld hav contd nagging, fine, destroy the 28 mega pixel screen, well,ok i'll let that slide, exposing the man in all his glory in front of the kids & house maid-now that is crossing the line. How can anybody justify this action for crying out loud, please let's be completely honest with ourselves.
What lame excuses am I making? The truth is Both of them are wrong. I never supported the woman here, maybe u should read what I had written and try to understand it. I said though it is good a man should not hit a woman but in most cases, it is the woman that provokes such action. Most times, women are the ones that cause it being hit and and the man has no choice than to hit. So what don't you understand in what I said or what did I say wrong?

FamilyRe: Wife Tears Husband's Clothes,husband Beats Wife-who's Wrong? by Diva1(f): 11:32pm On Jul 22, 2009
Both are wrong. None is right. Even as a female, saying that no man should raise his hands on a woman, women most times provoke such reaction. Women are sometimes the cause of a man hitting them as that is the only way he can react, but even at that, it should not be supported and this case, both are wrong.

Another facebook saga sad

Well I don't see why especially after 6yrs, not even 1 or 2 yrs, 6 long years, he should be putting single huh Me think if he is confident and proud of you, at least, he shouldn't put that status to single. Some people would say it's just "facebook" but that says a lot too. I think you should confront him, why he is putting the "single" status and tell him how you feel about it, or change urs to "single" and see his reaction. If nothing positive, then I think u should take a bow.

FashionRe: What Kind Of Braids Are These? by Diva1(f): 5:30am On Jul 21, 2009
I remember back in Nigeria, this hairstyle called "pick and drop". Just braid the top a little, then leave the rest. Afterwards, twist/braid them in large and put in hot water. Loosen it. That's how I used to do mine.

Yes, I love those pears(ube). Never seen 'em here in the States. What they call 'pear' over here looks like Nigerian guava but the Nigerian one is sweeter. tongue
I'm sure they should have it somewhere in the whole of America, somewhere.

What state are you in? They sell pears in California. . . . .don't know about the Satis brand, but there are various brands of sausage to choose from at the grocery store.
I'm not far from NY presently and usually come to Cali too. Plsss find some more info about these pears, just the same as in the pictures above smiley Let me know.

As for the sausage, yeah there are various types but haven't see the Satis brand like they had in Nigeria.

No2Atheism:
Its their first time and from what i see the tried considering that:

1. helps with non-nigerian international audience if they actually have an accent and not pretend not to have one.
2. the moping of the floor part and the using of brooms to sweep the floor part is the one that i find ridiculous.
3. Chk facebook they have an account on facebook with the pictures showing that D-Banj has actually visited at least once,

By the way Diva1 i think its high time u change ur profile picture, its kinda old now, don't u think, even my future great grand daughter has started going to college since u put up that particular picture on ur profile.
Well if you say so, they are trying but can do better. Lol, u r funny, Where is ur own pic?

i have seen the pictures of the ladies and to be sincere its not as bad as you people are claiming it to be. I have not watched it but at least the pictures is not as bad, maybe they are not all goodlooking but i doubt its a complete disaster.
Let's be real here. It's not even about the beauty, but other things in general. Have you heard the way they speak? It sounds too local in my case, considering this is the first Nigerian reality show, a lot of people world wide would be watching this, i'm sure the average Nigerian doesn't even speak like that. Also what is the plot? I haven't seen D-banj in there not to talk of the activities. Maybe I missed out those parts. It is funny not so bad but they can do better even the editing. Who shows 10minutes of moping the floor lol? I believe they can do better.

Oh yes they are. Forget their looks, the taste is delicious. I think they are also called pear avocado. They are very sweet. Love them. If you taste them, if you haven't, you would like it. I wonder if they have it anywhere in the US. Can't seem to find them here.
CultureRe: Is It Rude To Speak Your Language Openly In Public? by Diva1(f): 7:13am On Jul 19, 2009
It is not wrong however if you are in the midst of people from different cultures or races, it's more polite to speak in a universal language so one doesn't feel offended, intimidated or feel like you are saying something bad, feeling left out.
TV/MoviesRe: "koko Mansion" What A Show! by Diva1(f): 7:10am On Jul 19, 2009
What a show indeed! Watched it the first time sometime last week. Was telling my friend about it and his reply was because I was in the US, they are still in Nigeria. How can that be? It's a bit disappointing, even the way they speak, no activities, infact I haven't even seen D-Banj in there. But overall it's funny.

oyinda.:
totally agree with u
that's what i mean. lol freaky stuff like anal sex, dressing up as nurse etc or expecting sex 10x a day.
why not just marry a nympho to begin with? abi
Lol, anal sex in my case is wayyy tooo freaky but the role playing, dressing as a nurse and such, I personally don't see anything wrong in it, it could be an exciting way to spice up your marriage in the sexual aspect, husband and wife. You know something different for your husband. As for the sex 10x a day, that depends on the individual lol.

TheSeeker:
I agree with all the points but the anal sex part. I understand people are different, different strokes for different folks, but why do you think anal sex is indecent?
Leaving the Bible out of this, to me, it just doesn't feel decent. That's where one defaecates and health wise problems. I just can't pin-point a particular reason.
