Christianity EtcRe: The Morality Of Murder by Diva1(f): 6:48pm On Aug 16, 2009
Chrisbenogor:
For the Christian, Atheist, Muslim and what ever you practice.
Is it right under any circumstance to take the life of a human being?
Are there any scenarios where you think it is justified to kill someone?
—Article 6.1 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights state that:
“ Every human being has the inherent right to life. This right shall be protected by law. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his life. ”
The scenarios are very many from abortion, to taking someone off  life support, do I have the right to take my own life, and so on.

So I am asking is there a right time to murder and why or why not?
This is something I've thought about too, even self defence, I sometimes imagine myself killing someone but what has to be done has to be done, I guess.

I don't think there is a right time to murder but for those murderers and serial killers, I think that's only when it is justifiable to do so and somehow self defence, all others I don't think so.

There's nothing to lose from asking her, at least with the information he wont make the same mistakes no more in the future.
That's right C2, he stands nothing to lose. He should ask her to know why, if it's something he could live with and work out or otherwise.

This story is hard to digest, just like what we see in the movies but if it's true, what else do you want to do or would be able to do than waiting to get back home and confront her undecided There is nothing at this point, you are not home, wait till you get back, then it starts from there.

some1 who loves me cos i know i cud be a dickhead sometimes, and am gonna need some1 that loves me to bring me back to my senses.
But you have to love her too for you to come back to your senses. I don't think someone you don't love will help bring you back to your senses or stop you from being a dickhead.
Christianity EtcRe: What Is Faith by Diva1(f): 10:29am On Aug 14, 2009
Faith is that which we cannot see but believe and hope for.
RomanceRe: Whom Will You Prefer? by Diva1(f): 10:25am On Aug 14, 2009
Both. It should go both ways but If I have to choose one as the question suggests I'd prefer to be loved more, someone who loves me more.

Yes i did just say that.  maybe its not a bad idea but i dont think that i would do it.

How would you know the truth ? It much more easier to be gullied and lied to,  Its hard dating someone you know, talkless of dating someone you met on facebook.

My ex has:

1. ABC alum on his facebook account: he only took one class at school but never graduated.

2. His relationship status only says "single" only because he is NOT married but he has several girlfriends /Bleep friends and is NOT single

3. He recently put up a picture of his mercedes and posted it up. Yes he may have a benz but for the short time I knew him, his financial status is wallowing,  He has serious credit card debt, will never be able to pay back his student loans because he never went to school nor did he graduate, and he can never get a good job because he didn't finish school. He is pleasurely in debt (the car lures young women who are needy, poor, and broke,  he didn't have a car when I was with him. In fact, he drove mines.)

4. He is very delibrate,   he never adds any of his girlfriends/any their family members to his friend's list because they will expose him for the fraud he is.

5. Facebook in my opinion is good only for professional purposes (Keeping in touch with school friends from around the world<i went to school in Switzerland, and Nigeria> and I haven't some people in a while and nothing else.

Dating, or finding love on facebook! Naaaaah.  I've made new friends through facebook but thats about it.
I agree with you Posakosa. I feel facebook has done more harm than good to relationships.
Christianity EtcRe: The Atheist: God's Judgement On Christless "christians" by Diva1(f): 6:17am On Jul 27, 2009
SeanT21:
"When 40% of Joel Osteen's TV viewership openly label themselves non-christian and 57% of those who attend Granger community church do not believe the bible as the final authority on the christian life then you know there is something desperately wrong with the modern church."

WOW~~Shocking.

The Church is going downhill. I visited a friend Church a few weeks back and was so shocked. Homosexuals made up half of the Choir and they were also getting baptised. How can U be Gay,come to church every sunday and even sing in the choir?? Most Church's are just big money making machine. If U want to get rich quick then become a pastor. The Church I used to attend was another fake church. The pastor owed some of the congregation some money which he refused to pay..undecided

“Some go to church to see and be seen, Some go there to say they have been, Some go there to sleep and nod, But few go there to worship God”.

I hardly go to Church anymore. I rather just read and study the Bible on my own.Sometimes I catch Joel Osteen on TV.
I quite agree with especially here in the US, most churches do not even encourage you or motivate you to want to go compared to Nigeria BUT still that should not be enough reason or excuse for one not to go to church. Not because of the so called hypocrites that fill the church, you find a church that you as the individual learn something, feel motivated, encouraged. Those tv shows like Joel Osteen and others, sure are ok but one should not form a habit to just stay home and watch it on sundays when much emphasis was put on that day. To take out time especially that day to gather with others to worship him. Joel Osteen and so on can be watched anytime, everyday, whenever.

i can't stand that lady. octomom abi wetin dem call her  angry angry angry her own na attention seeking raised to the highest power. i got tired of seeing her and her drama everyday for months on end on tv
I thought I was the only one that disliked and got tired of her. Really seeking attention angry . She knew before hand she wasn't able to fend for them when she couldn't even sustain herself. Not one, not two, four but eight? If it was natural then it is more understandable and indeed a blessing.

my point is this alota white women divorce easily and can't stand marital stress but usually not based on financial problems but our niger women despite all our so called culture and background trainings their first priority is money. i've seen lota nigerian mothers that tell their daughters to get what they want with what they have, why so
most nigerian parents when their daughters bring their bf home the first thing they ask is his financial strenght
Another lie shocked who is feeding you such? For real where in Toronto r u located, I'm coming to get u out of there. Did u just say say white women rarely divorce based on financial problems?? Oh my!
I'm not disputing the fact that women like money but when you generalise,it becomes a problem. Maybe the fault is from you why you keep meeting this type/set of Nigerian girls, you got to search ur own self or your luck. Of cause parents want what is best for their children. Who wants their child to suffer after raising them up. It is not left for the girl to convince her parents she would be alright if the financial status of her man isn't strong enough.

I disagree when you say most Nigerian mothers advise their daughters such, some yeah but not all.
