Romance › Re: Most Naija Ladies End Up In The Church In Search For A Life Partner Atter 30. by Diva1(f): 12:41am On Dec 04, 2009 |
kech: You sense of reasoning is very warped. How did you come to the conclusion that girls that marry at 30 and above were wayward when they were younger? You are one of those that make girls jump into any man arms just so that they can be married before 30. Okay, leave the "bad" girls now, let them keep searching. At least you're lucky you are not marrying them abi? Why does it even concern anyone? Some men can be so immature.
Ladies please shine your eye ooo, It's not "How soon?" it's "How well?" If getting the right person means going to church and fasting DO IT!!! It's worth it in the end. There's nothing worse than being stuck with a loser I do understand where he's coming from and I don't think he generalised it the way you are thinking. |

Raymond247: Its Something that has been common but its funny, u would see some ladies living i dont care life in their early age(18-28) they just want to catch the fun, when they get closer to 29-30 they will start being cautious and try to settle down for a man to ask for thier hand in marriage, after they must have lived a rough life, doing all sorts of rubish with thier virginity they will end up going to church. why is it common to our 9ja babes? I would have to agree with you |

Travel › Re: Work And School by Diva1(f): 5:38pm On Nov 13, 2009 |
Yes it is very possible to study but as for working, it could be difficult but not totally impossible depending on what you want to do. For studying, get a student visa and if you've graduated high school/secondary school or as a transfer student from your university, your transcripts. You would/might be required to take the toefl and SAT exams. Or as Ebonyeyes said, do your research first from the school you want to apply to. |

coolier: Couples break up and do come back. But then you have your reasons, whatever it is for making up your mind never to go back. But why be mean? Are you still angry at the fact you broke up? There's absolutely nothing wrong with being friends. And if you want more than that then it's your cup of tea! I'm not saying I want to be mean, but this guy has done a lot and when I made my own mistake, said some words to him which He would admit, he was the cause, I had to beg and tried hard to mend things, then when I've decided to move on, he shows up, expecting what? But I guess at the end being mean isn't worth it. iice: Word
I'm usually cold lol. It would depend on whether i decided to save the friendship or not. Even then i'd still be cold What is your reason for being cold? |

Romance › Re: How Would You Act And Behave? by Diva1(op): 5:38pm On Oct 30, 2009 |
jay bee: if you can cope with you guys being friends with no sexual benefits then yeah. but if emotions can't be kept in check plus another fact that one party has supposedly closed that emotional chapter then it's advisable to just let it be kept closed. I mean I haven't seen him in a long time, though I have made up my mind not to get back again. So you think it's best to just be cordial towards him or mean? |

Romance › Re: I Am Going To Have A Nervous Breakdown by Diva1(f): 5:33pm On Oct 30, 2009 |
@am hurting
I have already told you the same thing happened to me and that was what led me to nairaland. I did the same thing though his actions were so bad, it got me frustrated. I left him and moved on and now he is back. The tables have turned.
You have apologised and acknowledged your mistake which was what I did, then let go. Live your life. If he truly loves and cares for you, he would be back. It would hurt, but you just have to try. |
Romance › How Would You Act And Behave? by Diva1(op): 5:29pm On Oct 30, 2009 |
If it were you, how would treat an ex that yea was good and bad to you, not necessarily the best, you made your own mistakes but was very cold to you which eventually led to breaking up with you after trying so hard to mend things. You finally decide to move on and the ex is back from no where, calling you and all, checking up on you. What led to the break up was me saying some words I didn't mean to him when I was mad and due to his own actions. Now the tables have turned.
Would you be mean towards the ex, cordial and friendly or which do you think is the best way to behave to the ex knowing you have already made up your mind not to get back again? |

agabaI23: I hope the poster is not just looking for a back up to turn her back on this man. She knows what she has done. I am sure you have said this before and she warned you. How long have you been with him that you are just discovering he has no human sympathy. How many guys are hitting on you here?
On the other hand you may have never said such thing to him if you were still in naija.
Maybe you called him Bushman when he suggested that you go for vacation in Saudi Arabia and you probably suggested Miami beach.
The ego of man is his prized possession, dare not toil with if you will be in his good book. People make mistakes and things could be said in the heat of the moment. |
