That policy makes zero sense.
Why not make the import less attractive? Why not add so much tax on the imported rice so that the local rice is more cheaper to buy.

Choosing to close the border is what a lazy, idealess uncreative person would do. Am still waiting for the Nigerians that appreciated it because the rice is still smuggled into the country thereby denying us revenue that would've accrued from taxation of these imports.

#430 pension got me. Even if he works for 200 years, his monthly pension won't cater for his need when he becomes a pensioner. That's terrible.

Another thing that caught my eyes was the tax. There's actually no breakdown of what made up the tax.

Gone are the days where banking was a noble profession.

Funny enough some of these banks employees will be acting like lord when you go to the banks.

Honestly, don't touch that CRV. True it's a more reliable car. But note, the car in question is 24 years old. And you said it's for a pensioner. So unless you want him to spend his pension repairing that car, keep off it. There's no amount of durability that will prevent the issues that car will have especially because it's Nigeria driven already. Worst part, it's overpriced. 500k should be the max.

You know, I don't believe that cursing or even praying and asking God to fight for the victim. But after seeing this, I wish her soul to fight those behind her death.
