Demigod22: The house is called Camp Neya, named after his first daughter. He was number four richest Nigerian at some point. Camp Neya have four hundred rooms, the house is located in Igbere, his country home.
Urji Uzor Kalu have been a billionaire, his romance with IBB and Abacha enriched him. He commissioned the house in 1998 before his inauguration as governor.
Mind you he was in his 30s then Same as Dangote, Peter Obi, anumudu, Annie okonkwo clemco, chicason AZ petroleum from Nnewi, ibeto, Gabros(innoson elder brother) Louis Carter Onwugbenu from Nnewi, Tony Ezenia(Orange drugs) etc
FarmPlanetNG: And you did not enter Forbes list since 1998 till now. Dey deceive yourself dey go. If not for God's help, you totally ruined Abia in a way that the state hasnt recovered in 20 years, yet you have the confidence to state nonsense.
Dangote didn't enter Forbes list as of 1999 He hasn't entered Forbes list as of 2003 self
He entered Forbes list after 2005 when soludo consolidated Banks After Obasanjos Economic reforms when Nigeria Economy was booming and Nigerian stock exchange was doing well and opportuned ones maximized the time
Even Adenuga too never entered Forbes list then
The richest Black person in the world then was Oprah Winfrey with net worth of about 3 billion dollars
Dangote Orji uzor kalu Peter Obi Adenuga Anumudu (globe motors)
We're set then in money making in the 1990s
All these otedola and co were still learner's when it comes to money
The real very wealthy people with money in Nigeria in the 1980s to 90s were
Mko Abiola Dantata (Dangote s maternal uncle) Isiaku Rabiu (BUAs father) Igbinedion(okada airlines) Augustine ilodibe (Ekene dili chukwu motors)
So orji uzor kalu was right saying most of these noise makers now were small boys then
Many of these so called Dollar billionares today were enriched by Babangida, Abacha, Obasanjo civilian era from 1999
Just like many of Russian oligarchs billionares today like Roman Abrahmovic etc became wealthy when then Russian president Boris Yeltsin sold off Russia's oil assets for crumbs
Nataliace: I'm married for twelve years now and my marriage is blessed with two kids all boys, 11 and 9 respectively. Our marriage was also blessed with peace until I discovered my husband dates girls.
The one that pains me most is dating a neighbor who has been my enemy since we relocated to that settlement. My husband has side chicks too numerous to mention and I tried to talk to him but he refused. I left him and went back to my parents house thinking that will make him change and to come and apologize, to my greatest surprise he didn't make a move of putting things in order.
The worst is that the girl in the neighborhood is now living with him sleeping in our Matrimonial bed doing all the house chores and taking my children to school.
I came back and apologized to my husband but he said it's over between us. I love my husband so much that I can't afford to lose him. What should I have done? I expressed my grief of being hurt but it bounced back negatively.
Please advise me on how to restore my marriage.
You finished everything by leaving your matrimonial home
That gave your husband space to forget about you
He definitely have moved on from you
I don't think there's anything you can do about it
Mistake women make is by leaving there matrimonial home
Once Men are giving space They Develop a thicker skin
If you were around He may still have the fondness for you and with time Change his ways
But giving him space Finished everything
I know someone presently in this your kind of case She gave the man space By returning to her people's place
blacknp: Sure it is not a good idea, because people like yourself, many other Nairalanders like Bobloco, you want to enjoy without critical application, working hard & sacrifice?
See this one
To float the naira Nigeria must have a sound manufacturing base and a diversified Economy
You can't just wake up and float naira
What good Economic indices/pedigree do you have to float the currency?
Even powerful Asian Economies with sound Economic indices still guide there exchange rate
Look at China They still devalued there Yuan to make there products price competitive in the global Markets
If the Chinese Government allowed floating The Yuan will be closer to the dollar and Euros in value which will affect there manufacturing strategy
Most of you come online to talk anyhow
Those presently handling our monetary policies are bereft of what to do
Emefiele minus the corruption that he allowed himself to get into manged Naira better
Wallade: The courts interpretes NYSC act, supersedes NYSC office and staff and your opinion.
The issue with Kemi Adeosun is simply that the exemption certificate given to her was forged.
Let me ask a question about this - "personally went to NYSC headquarters in Abuja to get clarification whether I should serve or exempt after returning to Nigeria" : who filed your documents with NYSC? Was it you or your Alma mater?
I later did it online Via NYSC portal
It clarified me My transcript that came with my certificate My certificate My o levels everything was certified via there portal
Of which I later got my original NYSC certificate
I believe you are even talking on mere presumption
Something you don't even have a clue about
Kemi Adeosun was nailed because she was meant to have served as her year of graduation was below 30 years
The exemption she was carrying whether fake or real couldn't save her because she defaulted by age of graduation which nailed her
So you don't have a clue of what you are talking about one bit
All my credentials are authentic
I can hold any government position without batting any eyelid because I am as clean as a bat
The reason why many people get into trouble is typically like most average Nigerians they don't want to do the right thing the right So they cut corners
Every of my academic documents from primary to post tertiary followed the right due process
I ensure everything is straight forward so nobody will come and talk rubbish tomorrow around me
blacknp: Hypocrisy in overdrive, as usual you must blame Tinubu for your own lack of coinage, Mr Monday morning armchair economist?
We have been hearing this same rhetoric talk for donkey years now, na the Federal government go diversify the economy for its lazy citizens that have refused to be innovative, yet all states of the federation have commodities for export based on their comparative advantages?
But no, na money from FAAC una they wait for every month, then will turn around and blame FG for your lackadaisical approach?
Before nko is it not the federal government that will lead the diversification drive?
Has the FG not been sharing the money in faac account
Even Tinubu is still sharing the money till today
Diversification is left to the FG to lead the drive
Emefiele is just being judged because he was corrupt of which many public officials are
But he managed the exchange rate better than this present Government going by what the rates are presently
Wallade: I disagree with you, just like the various senior advocates of Nigeria - lawyers - disagree with your interpretation of the NYSC act.
The only organization that can clarify us is the court so keep your argument pending till the court makes a pronouncement on it. We are not courts or judges.
Simple.
You are wrong
I personally went to NYSC headquarters in Abuja to get clarification whether I should serve or exempt after returning to Nigeria
The officials checked my certificate and told me that if the date my certificate was issued I was even one day to my 30th birthday
I must serve
So the issue of courts interpreting anything is far fetched
That's what happened to kemi Adeosun she was below 30 years when she graduated from the UK University
So the certificate she submitted for minister position nailed her. She was carrying exemption certificate which wasn't supposed to be because she graduated before 30 years
Kenny didn't do anything wrong as long as he had no public position then
It's the minister that the court will interpret her case to know whether you will be serving and hold position in government at same time
festacman: In as much as Keke Ogungbe, after studying in US, started off self-employed as co-owners of highly successful Kennies Music label, he could have smartly used the period he worked for his brother-in-law Raymond Dokpesi's DAAR Communications as an opportunity to tie up his NYSC loose ends.
He was a bit short-sighted there given how smart he is. May be he never anticipated he will one day got involved in politics.
In any case, I doubt if he committed any offense by still undergoing NYSC because he was within the age limit at the time he graduated.
You dey mind the people sueing Kenny
Once you graduated before 30 years you must do NYSC You can't escape it
That's what one NYSC official told me when I went to verify whether I can skip it
othermen: How to get away with Murder: Thwarting an Aspiring Leader, Nigeria edition.
Adeoriokin possessed both material and social capital, positioning him as a potential future leader in his state.
His humility and charisma endeared him to many, but some felt threatened by his ascent.
Here's a strategy to impede his rise: appeal to his likable qualities, invite him to a nighttime meeting, and instruct him to park his vehicle in a secluded area. Enlist local vigilantes and instruct them to give him a grand entrance with gunshot salutes. Have one of the vigilantes demonstrate by firing into the dark close.
Keep a controlled mob at a distance to ensure the vigilante can’t present a plausible story about being misled into shooting into the dark alley.
Utilize your influence to prevent any hospital in the vicinity from admitting him. If someone attempts to bring him to a hospital, get someone to remind them of a fictional police report and emphasize the victim's influence, suggesting that the hospital would be held liable if he were to die. The public hospitals don’t even have the capacity, “he should end up dead in one of those”.
As the plan unfolds, and he fortunately passes away, the police may invite you, but as a prince, you are likely to escape legal consequences. As it can lead to another Modakeke-Ife inter-community civil war. For the purposes of peace, proper investigations can be a cost.
With Adeoriokin out of the picture, those who less charismatic and socially incapable now have an opportunity without feeling threatened.
His immediate family abroad are afraid to come back to Nigeria to assess his estate for fear of their own safety. Those back home mourn their promising relative while ensuring they get ahold of his estate.
Very pathetic story
This was how first world war started when an Austrian prince was assassinated
seunmsg: lol. Why should Mr. President give a fvck about three useless, landlocked and impoverished countries with despotic rulers leaving ECOWAS? Like, what are these countries bringing to the ECOWAS table?
See, they will be further impoverished and isolated with this decision. They don’t even have their own currency. They use the France backed CFA currency that can be cut off from them easily. This is their problem and not Nigeria or Tinubu’s problem.
At least, folks from those countries who have contributed significantly to the insecurity in Nigeria will no longer have legal access to Nigeria as their ECOWAS passport will be revoked. One would expect you Obi asslickers to be happy with this news.
This is typical arrogance from Nigerians that breeds anger from our other African brothers
Like these countries are useless really?
Gas Pipeline Nigeria want to construct through Sahara desert to deliver natural gas to Europe which will yield crazy money for Nigeria can't be possible without Niger cooperation Because the gas Pipeline will first pass through the country
Yet you talk down on them arrogantly This your arrogant attitude bring unnecessary attack from other African Nationals
Anyway you are just ignorant Because if you do basic travel around the world you will understand better that your kind of arrogance doesn't do us well
Peterpaul96: West African Countries needs to be united to elevate poverty from their countries not fight.
Egypt generated $15 billion from 14.9 million international tourists in 2023. Northern Africans are using Tourism to generate massive funds. We are here playing corrupt politics.
I will continue to say it, Nigeria have all it takes ti make huge financial incomes from International Tourist.
Babysho: 😂😂😂 Very satisfying to hear this bro. Thank you. That man dey trigger me. One day, I don shout "shut up!" to my TV because of this Amokachi fellow. He wants to be everything; the coach, the old crackhead, the supporter, the referee, the beer parlour miscreant - except the commentator!
Thought it was only me
Sometime during the match I was hollering: can't this guy just shut up for once
iwaeda: Jannik Sinner caused a major upset, beatingNovak Djokovic to reach the Australian Open men’s final, ending the 10-time champion’s career unbeaten streak in semifinals at Melbourne Park.
The 22-year-old Italian broke Djokovic’s serve twice in each of the first two sets but missed a match point in the third set of a 6-1, 6-2, 6-7 (6), 6-3 victory that earned him a place in a Grand Slam final for the first time.
He’ll play either third-seeded Daniil Medvedev or No. 6 Alexander Zverev for the championship on Sunday.
Djokovic’s bid for a record-extending 11th Australian and 25th major title overall will have to wait.
He hadn’t lost a match at Melbourne Park since 2018 and was on a 33-match winning streak at the season’s first major. Every previous time he’d won a quarterfinal in Australia, Djokovic had gone on to win the hardcourt title.
On this occasion, however, despite claiming the third set tie break, he had no answer to an opponent who has now won three of their last four meetings.
Sinner was asked in his on court post-match interview what the secret of his success was to toppling the world’s best player and although he refused to give a full tactical debrief, he hinted that moving his opponent around the court as much as possible is imperative.
bjcole: I gave you facts that your principal and the president is dull, and you ran away because you don't have any points.
You said govt should ban the use of dollars. Who would ban the use of dollars? Is it the same president that was parading bullion vans on election day and also sharing dollars to delegates to sway them for votes. Nigerians always think they can escape the consequences of their actions. Welcome to the era of free fall of Naira.
When they talk you understand the level of there reasoning
He is saying ban dollars Which country has done that
Europe? Sophisticated China? Even Russia that's been fighting war with the West can't do that
Talkless of an underdeveloped Nigerian Economy
It's a pity these guys don't even understand what's facing us as a Nation
For Nigeria to achieve this will require what its present generation of politicians appear to lack, for you cannot give what you do not have.
The level of political will required to change course is extraordinary, and requires a focus on merit and competent technocratic management rather than crony- empowerment based on vested self interest.
Until these fundamentals are fixed, there is little hope for the Naira. The world has changed from the days of our being awash with oil money. Many other countries that are not in OPEC now produce massive amounts of oil.
Well outlined by Prof
If we don't wake up to do the right thing Nigeria will be relegated to the backwaters of African not even the global economy
Misfit politicians shouldn't be Manning the affairs of critical sectors of Nigerian Economy
A stitch in time saves nine
Time to get to serious business because time no dey again
Alexis11: Here is someone that understands the economic effect of the move. Others are only concentrating on the political effect.
“The problem we have now is that many employees are children of politically exposed persons and their Abuja life and businesses are more important than the CBN work"... What a revelation by Sanusi.
Na politician children full CBN.
The bolded is true
I Know many of them
Not just CBN, NNPC, Customs, Avation, even DSS
They were filled there during Buharis tenure
I know many of my classmates I went to school with overseas
They got juicy jobs through there parents connection
Big men's children They live in maitama, Asokoro etc
Sanusi is very right although his children also benefited One of his son is in the police force and he is already climbing the ladder One day will be an IG
Majority of these politicians have already positioned there children for the future
So poor man pikin no go fit go school again for this country?
Issorite! God is watching ooo
Tertiary Education is not for the poor Even in the Developed world
How the poor get educated overseas are through sound academic performance in post primary or via scholarship from the institution, Government or rich individuals
Top Schools like Oxford, Cambridge, London school of Economics, imperial college, Harvard, Stanford, Yale, MIT etc There school fees in naira is over 100million per session
The poor go there if they are academically sound. Example Barack Obama and His Wife went to Harvard, but they were poor, but sound academically so scholarship helped them
nuelson2016: ...thanks to my mother that pays food vendors around to give us food whenever we are hungry because my dad doesn't give us enough - ( I know a particular region that's synonymous with this trend) 🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐

Bulldozer90: Good for him. Julius Berger and RCC are the best. Ngige will never be forgotten in Anambra for doing what he did in Anambra with RCC. Obi was the worst. Soludo is doing well but can still do better(in roads).
The road Ngige did that passed through my Dad's house in the village is still intact since 2005. No cracks anywhere. The two drainages by the side still sound
How can Anambra people ever forget Chris Nwabueze Ngige Onwa idemili!!
Peter Obi s roads didn't last, even obiano too
We will judge soludo own after he finishes his tenure
ehikwe22: Lagos airport is a disgrace to Nigeria. Early last year I landed in that airport from Europe - internationa wing. It was a complete disaster. And immediately on leaving the airport to my hotel, everything I saw was an eye sore. Everything was dirty and dustry and looking really really bad. But on landing in Abuja I saw a lot of difference. Imagine most foreigners visiting Nigeria lands at that same airport. It's an embarrassment to our image as a country. Lagos need to do better
I concur to this your view
Lagos international airport is a total eye sore of an airport for international reputation
kuverah: Anybody that will fall for this advice is deemed to be called a fool. These are the kind of people that advice against love but they love like craze. Not all people practice what they preached. If you find love, abeg love. Is not a crime or a disease.
Go to divorce courts You will be surprised that many of the clients Were once in Love
