Almajiri is a reality of the North. They can get angry about it but the most important thing is to do something about it. You're trying hard to deflect but there's absolutely nothing for Northerners in Tinubu's illegitimate presidency than sufferings SonofLagos:

For a start, he has stopped the diversion of 50% Rivers IGR by Wike EponObi: The funniest thing is that this Fubara, with the way he moving, won't achieve any tangible thing for the people of Rivers before 2027.
We could all see his list of achievements 1 year into office was very pale compared to what Wike achieved. Development in Rivers has slowed down seriously.
This is how Wike will get him.
If he has serious advisers, they should tell him to start ignoring Wike and roll his sleeves.
The thing is Wike is not the governor so he has the liberty, the freedom, and time to do jamboree in Rivers. Fubara doesn't have luxury. And the irony is that Wike, as FCT minister, is performing by far and beyond compared to Fubara.
I don't know why people are hailing Fubara? He needs to realign and shift focus to the development and governance of Rivers State.
In 2027, Wike, as well as the the citizens, will judge Fubara's work and compare to Wike's past work as Rivers governor. What Wike is doing is to slow him down with the legislative noise, media drag, impeachment threat - the the politically naive dude is falling into his trap. |

Currently only Yoruba people are defending Tilumbu. He is a Yoruba president, not Nigeria seunmsg: Atiku and Peter Obi are enemies of progress. They are both against any developmental project the Tinubu administration is pursuing for no good reason other than politics. They are both so petty and empty. Good enough, Tinubu doesn’t give a fvck about them. He will keep doing what is good for the country irrespective of the evil attempts by Atiku and Obi to politicize everything. |
Politics › Re: Atiku Pension Fund Critique: A Case Of Double Standards Given His Own Manifesto by DMerciful(m): 2:40pm On May 16, 2024 |
With the way Tilumbu has mismanaged the economy and monumental corruption in his illegitimate regional government, nobody will trust him with pension funds LegendHero: Atiku Abubakar has recently taken a strong stance against President Bola Tinubu's decision to deploy pension funds for infrastructure development. However, this critique has drawn accusations of hypocrisy, as Atiku’s own campaign manifesto included similar proposals.
Ironically, a review of Atiku's 2023 manifesto reveals that he too advocated for the use of pension funds to support infrastructure development. His proposal emphasized leveraging these funds to tackle Nigeria's significant infrastructure deficit.
On page 101 of Atiku manifesto, he stated the below: "How we will fund infrastructure: Since independence, Nigeria has heavily relied on government funding of infrastructure through an inefficient budget design and implantation process. Infrastructure is a key growth driver with significant multiplier effect on the socio-economy of a country. Nigerians, retail investors who will make small investments in roads, railways, airports and seaports. This is capable of boosting social cohesion as people from different parts of the country feel a real sense of ownership of the nation's assets.
Other investors in the infrastructure fund will include our domestic pension fund administrators (PFAs), with over N8 trillion under management, and major international institutional investors. "
Could it be that Atiku did not read his own manifesto before condemning Tinubu for doing the same thing he stated in his own manifesto?
