Politics › Re: NLC Useless And Corrupt - I Won’t Listen To Them by DMerciful(m): 5:32pm On Sep 05, 2023
You're trying hard to justify tribalism but disguising it as wanting constitutional change.

If you're not mischievous, you'd know that its not in NLC mandate to push for constitutional review but the citizens through their representatives
optionalY09:
NLC will use strike and protest to negotiate bribe for the interest of their groups, friend and Family members. Why should I allow myself to be used like that as diligent worker of this country.

If NLC really want to make changes in this country they should call for total constitutional change and i would yield to their instruction. Anything other than that. I never see that person papa that would ask me not to go to the work. You don’t pay my bills

Probably you were not in a position to vote but you defended him blindly.

The only reason you're not hearing how mych damage Bubu has caused is because its same APC in govt.

People in Lagos think they're getting a fair deal because the compare Lagos to Delta State or Enugu. SMH!
Parachoko:
Confess that what?

I didn't Vote Buhari in 2015 neither did I vote for him in 2019.

Dear Sire White,

Thank you for your feedback. This was not written in a vacuum. I came up with these historical facts, backed up with documentary evidence to disprove very wild claims by Radio Biafra and some other progenitors. You don't expect me and others to keep quiet while some people revise history.

Read what you wrote. You say you are waiting for the tribunal's verdict. And you also say you want Biafra. Is that not contradictory? How can you want "divorce from Nigeria" (to use your words) and also want the tribunal to give you a favourable verdict? Should you not choose one or the other?

Anyway, thanks again, and may God bless you.

Even if you support Sanwo-Olu, doesn't mean you cannot asked questions. A leader is not perfect, he may have his reasons but if the people asked questions, it helps him to run his govt prudently.

That is how you guys supported Bubu blindly until he ran the country aground and now Tinubu boys are saying he handed over a dead economy. But when he was killing the economy, you guys were cheering him on blindly

Another fabrication from Lagos-Ibadan expressway newspapers
ChiefJusticeFuc:
Decree 8 was being proposed by Gowon to which 3 out of the 4 military heads of regions had already agreed in principle to support. Ojukwu as military administrator of the eastern region was the only one who opposed it.

Decree 8 was proposed to put an end to Ironsi's dissatrous Decree 34 aka unity begging decree.

Decree 34 was roundly rejected by all regional heads other than Ojukwu who sang praises on it when Ironsi made its proclamation.

Decree 8 was not only meant to return Nigeria to its original regional setup but to also strengthen it further by making provisions for each region to have its own standing army.

Ojukwu refused to attend the meeting in Lagos claiming he did not feel safe coming down to Lagos.

Ojukwu will fly down by chopper to Benin to meet Ejoor to be briefed on the resolution reached in Lagos on decree 8 and stated his total objection to it.

A few weeks later, Ojukwu will invade Midwest knowing fully well that once decree 8 came into force, Ejoor would build an army made up of non Ibo Bendelites. At that time, Bendel Ibos sympathetic to the Biafran cause dominated the army stationed in the Midwest. Most had been recalled from both the north and western regions following the northern mutiny that saw to Ironsi's murder and ouster.

The lie that Gowon created our centrist government at the detriment of regions is totally false as Gowon promolgated Decree 8 towards abolishing decree 34 towards retuning Nigeria back to here original template.

Gowon will later create states which saw Ojukwu do the utmost stupidity and drag the already Ibo weary annexed lower Niger regions that had now been finally free from the Ibo eastern region , into his Biafra .

Seeing that Gowon had refused to arm Ejoor over fears that the military in Midwest were mainly Bendel Ibos sympathetic to Biafran cause, Ojukwu will invade and occupy Midwest.

The lie that Ojukwu wanted Nigeria to return to its original template prior to the Jan 15, coup is totally false as his position was Gowon halt decree 8 and return to Ironsi's dissatrous Decree 34 and for Gowon to rescind the creation of old Rivers and old Cross River out of the old eastern region.

I'm not from the East.

Having said that, all the political elites across regions are united in maintaining the status quo. Why will they want breakup when there's a possibility of becoming irrelevant in a new country?

The common man is the victim irrespective of tribe or region
Felimax:
Hate what? I don't hate you for it. I don't like dealing with cowards. The average people calling for the breakage are nothing but cowards. Yes you read that right!

If your so called leader from the East could have a round table and stand firm that in the entire East they will not vote or be voted for, if they can stand their ground that unless a consensus nothing political from Nigeria will move in then I will know you guys want a breakup.

This has nothing to do with Wars, this is the will and might of a people. Organize a town hall and copy every meaningful civil groups both home and abroad. Copy the Nigeria Security bodies. Tell them you don't want violence. Copy AU, UN, ECOWAS and all interest groups that four years from now you want to challenge yourselves that 90% of people from the East don't want to be with Nigeria and want to have your own independence..

The world will take you serious.
Withdraw all your political affiliations with any Nigeria state by this I don't mean commerce, I mean political. Start it from today.

Don't pay a dime to federal government and don't go to federal government for a dime.
They will know you are serious..

How do you mean lucrative? To steal?
AsabaPropertyAg:
Amaechi vs Wike`s Portfolio which one is more Lucrative and Powerful.

Former Governor Amaechi used Rivers State money for Buhari`s election for appointment as Minister of Transport in former President Buhari`s Administration 2015 - 2023 and in this present Tinubu Administration Former Governor Wike used Rivers State Votes to get Minister of FCT ABUJA. Some people were arguing between Amaechi and Wike whose portfolio is more Lucrative and Powerful. Please house I need your input in this argument, in my opinion I told them that Minister of FCT is more lucrative and Powerful than Minister of Transport because FCT Minister is working directly with the president in Abuja and also he is like a Governor and he has yearly budget like Governors every year.
