Being prepared is relative. If you say he is prepared, relative to who? While Tinubu was going round Nigeria to prepare for tit for tat, Obi was going round the world to study successful models that can be reapplied back home! donbrowser: This post is about Asiwaju and how prepared he is for the next election. You can do yourself a lot of good by educating me on the tours of your candidate and what he's been up to in the past 4 years in preparation for this forthcoming election. I just told you about my candidate and how prepared he is. |

Sometimes the situation demands when to run. Joe Biden never wanted to run for prresident until it became necessary to stop Trump. It's necessary for Obi to stop the old recycled thieves ruining Nigeria donbrowser: None of these young candidates are prepared for presidency. When they lose election, they will go back to their business and you won't hear from them again. We had Covid, EndSars and other burning issues that they could have used to boost their popularities and canvas against the coming election. You won't see them. While they were busy with their business, Asiwaju was celebrating his birthday in Kano, donating thousands of bags of rice to the North and sending sympathy messages to them. I'm not saying Asiwaju is a good person. After all this is said and done, Asiwaju will get Northern votes and you will claim he rigged or the North are Nigeria's problem. If you are serious about governance, you will start preparing since the day you lose not coming out six months to election claiming you want to liberate youths or the country. |

Someone thats a 2 term governor and a vice presidential candidate in 2019 is prepared donbrowser: If you read my piece from the beginning, you will see where I wrote that I've never been a fan of Asiwaju and I stated reasons why I'm voting him. Asiwaju has his flaws but this topic is about the level of preparedness of candidates towards 2023 general elections. You can state how your preferred candidate has prepared to win the election or has prepared for presidency in the last 4 years. Emphasis on the last 4 years |

You dont wanna vote Obi because of sentiments and not because you think he cant win! NeckingNgulping: The way it is now, given my past experience, i don't think i have the energy to go all in and vigorously campaign for any of the candidates who have emerged to represent their respective political parties in the 2023 presidential elections.
What's the point in supporting someone who didn't emerge on a level playing ground? We all saw how the delegates greedily went for the aspirants with big money to pay. So, I'm safe to say the mandates were bought -they were never given through fairness and equity.
Criminals getting paid by bigger criminals who want the keys to the nation's treasury. You think the aspirants paid such huge amounts for nothing? You have to think again as they have a way of getting it back through dubious means.
Welcome to Nigeria where people who are vying for a political office spend billions for a job of 200m, because they know how to recover it 10x in a short period of time.
I can't vote an Atiku or a Tinubu or the other candidate that doesn't stand a chance. All thanks to democracy that allows a small few with their personal interests to decide who comes up to contest. And at the end they turn out to be catastrophic.

Igbos across Nigeria can give 25% in 24 states if push comes to shove but the best thing for Obi is not returning to the corrupt PDP. He is not desperate to be president, he is a billionaire so will never suffer no matter how Nigeria falls casualobserver: The worst thing to happen to Obi's political career was leaving PDP. Now he is in a fix, he cant win with Labour because no matter how many voyes he manages to get from Ibos and youths, he will never get constitutional requirement of 25 percent of the votes in 24 states and unfortunately he has gained so much momentum and followership that he cant back down. |

Obi will never try it! Obi's popularity now is because he is running for president. If he goes back to PDP, that would be the worst thing to happen to his political career Oplomo: The dynamics have changed with OBI/ LP on the ballot. If Atiku allow himself to deceived, it will end in catastrophe. Good thing he is currently consulting with Obi to come be his Vp. They both generated 11.3 million votes. All of that votes needs to be intact, as he consolidates in the North his home region, now that buhari is out of the way. |
