GEJ was alleged to be stealing $1billion a month yet we had fuel consistently for N97 and later N87. Bubu is not stealing a dime yet there is no fuel even at N150! Where is the logic? undecided

Cant you see that you are full of excuse! Are you not ashame to say Nigeria is sustained by oil coming from one neglected region? the fraudulent structure Nigeria has been operating is yeilding dividends now....i hope the oil price continue to fall grin
jaybee3:
Obviously you have a brain of a toad and I won't be surprised if you are one of those wallowing in eternal poverty!

Nigeria is currently unable to sell majority of her crude exports

Nigeria like every other oil producing nation reliant on oil income to fund majority of their budget is also suffering the sharp effect of dwindling oil prices

Nigeria being unable to pay salaries as well as funding meaningful projects post handover suggests the treasury was seriously depleted before handover (we are now getting daily dose of evidence to substantiate the claim made by PMB)

Nigeria is broke and you should be clamouring for death penalty for those that participated in depletion of the nation's resources not asking retarded questions
Politics › Re: Nigerian Army Kills Boko Haram Members, Rescues 210 Hostages (Graphic Photos) by DMerciful(m): 9:38pm On Dec 11, 2015
Dont be a f00l! one man cannot singlehandedly sponsor terrorism against his people. Unless you are saying Dasuki caused Isis, al shabab, AlQaeda etc. the cause of Bokoharam is Islam and unless the Islamic elites/clerics do something about it, terrorism will remain forever!
HungerBAD:
Boko Haram?

At the end of the day, and just as i have repeatedly said before, take Dasuki out of circulation and Boko Haram supply of weapons will end. You don't need to be a War Historian, to know that Boko Haram became strong as a result of the Government, or somebody at the top Echelon of Jonathan's Government supplying them all their needs, to the detriment of the Nigerian Military.

Somebody might ask why?and the answer is simple,to be Politically relevant.

As the National Security Adviser to the Government, what Dasuki did, which even a Kindergarten kid can see. Is to use his left hand to cause an artificial terror/mayhem, while using his right hand to milk the Government dry, and making his office to be very relevant, and in the case under Jonathan, very powerful.

Who else would the Government run to?if not the National Security adviser.

Dasuki is a traitor, and deserves the hottest part of hell for the rubbish he has done. Why are Boko Haram, not suddenly as powerful as they were before?except for some skeletal guerrilla attacks here and there, the Boko Haram has completely been wiped out. And it was only achieved because their chief sponsor, is currently talking to the Federal Government, and most importantly not at the helm of any Power.

Dasuki was so powerful, he was withdrawing from the C.B.N as if it was an A.T.M on the Roadside, and yet, i repeat, and yet. Some Clowns will come here to support this murdering heartless man.

And as they say in the Old England "OFF WITH HIS HEAD"

Think man ...Thinkk! if all this money was truly missing and Nigeria progressed, why are we not progressing now under PMB with no money missing? Dont be gullible! its a distraction from the nepalessness and petrolessness befalling the nation!
zinosleek:
where are all the GEJ my hero people, the guy incompetence and corrupt nature nearly brought Nigeria to the brink of economic collapse, all what we saw in his tenure was cosmetic make up, the inside was rotten to the core.
Politics › Re: Shuaibu Salisu: I Delivered $47m In 11 Suitcases To Dasuki - The Nation by DMerciful(m): 4:51pm On Dec 11, 2015
If this story is true why is the FG requesting for a secret trial for Dasuki? why are you this gullible? GEJ will never intentionally misappropriate public money! watch how all these will fade away as they are mere propaganda undecided
PassingShot:
His political ambition was not worth the blood of any Nigerian but it was worth every naira and kobo meant for protecting the lives of those under insurgency and surely worth monies in the vault of CBN. What an irony!

Jonathan is not worthy of being a class captain in a secondary school let alone a LG chairman.
NOI is surely a wicked deceitful woman. May the blood of every soldier who died as a result of her complicity in this scandal hunt her throughout her lifetime.
Dasuki deserves nothing less than being hanged. This is the only punishment that can deter other wicked souls like him.

TonyeBarcanista:
I was shocked when I heard/and read of the arrest of High Chief Raymond Dokpesi over his connection with the alleged diversion of $2.2 billion or N640billion meant for arms purchase. Raymond Dokpesi was not a public office holder, he isn't a military chief, neither is he an ex-military man. He isn't a known security contractor. So how did Dokpesi come in contact with N2.1 billion meant for arms purchase? I couldn't answer these questions. I had to wait for his own statement. Fortunately, his DAAR office released a statement which I quote in part...

"Dokpesi explained to the EFCC officials that the N2.1 billion that he collected from the former NSA was payment for for publicity and media political campaigns during the 2015 General Elections.”.
www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/194303-why-i-collected-n2-1-bn-from-ex-nsa-dasuki-dokpesi.html

Explanation Defies Logic...
Sincerely, the explanation of High Chief Dokpesi has several flaws and loopholes. I mean why should we believe Dokpesi that the N2.1 billion paid into his account was for political campaign publicity when the NSA office under Sambo Dasuki was not the Directorate of Finance of PDP Presidential Campaign organisation(PDPPCO)? Was Col Dasuki Sambo the Director of Finance for PDP Presidential Campaign organisation? If there was need for media publicity deal between the PDPPCO and DAAR Communication, was it not the duty of the Director of Publicity (PDPPCO) Fani Kayode to negotiate such deal? If there should be any payment, was it not the duty of Senator (Mrs) Nenadi Usman, the Finance Director of PDPPCO? Wouldn't the money come from the purse of PDPPCO? Is the nation's treasury co-owned by the PDPPCO? How do we now explain the connection between N2.1billion from our treasury to Raymond Dokpesi? Is Dokpesi in any way trying to tell us that Sambo Dasuki on behalf of PDPPCO diverted monies meant for arms purchase for political media publicity of PDP?

PDPPCO Denies Raymond Dokpesi
While pondering on Dokpesi's claim that the whopping N2.1 billion was meant for political campaign, the PDPPCO campaign Director of Media and Publicity, Mr Fani Kayode only recently denies ever having any deal with Dokpesi. An excerpt from his statement reads...

“As far as we are concerned, we don’t have anything to do with the payment made to Dokpesi for publicity.

“Dokpesi is not part of the Presidential Campaign Organisation. We have the structure; you know the Director General, you know the directors. We did not spend one kobo from the public fund."

I believe that someone isn't telling the truth. We need to see the contractual papers between PDPPCO and Dokpesi to determine whether or not PDPPCO was really involved in the N2.1billion fraud.

Raymond Dokpesi Indicted Sambo Dasuki
Without sounding emotional, I believe that Dokpesi's statement though not convincing has further indicted Sambo Dasuki in this arms purchase fraud saga. It is incumbent on Sambo Dasuki to come clean by explaining how N2.1 billion of Nigeria's fund meant for arms procurement moved to Dokpesi's account without even the knowledge of the former finance minister Okonjo Iwaela. Sambo must explain to us how a whopping N4.6 billion manoeuvred into Attahiru Bafarawa's account when he (Bafarawa) is neither a military consultant nor a legitimate arms dealer if truly Bafarwas got such money. Were they using the boko haram menace as "business"?

Justice Not Drama...
It is a very big shame that funds in the tune of N640 billion that was meant for our soldiers and security agents to secure the federation especially the North-East was siphoned by those in position of trust and their allies. The effect of their theft resulted in loss of gallant officers, civilians and properties. It has made some people orphan, some widows, some physically and psychologically disabled, while some lost their homes and means of livelihood. All those fingered in this fraud from Sambo Dasuki, Attahiru Bafarawa and his son, Raymond Dokpesi, the Generals and those yet to be arrested must be made to face the full wrath of the law whether they are fulani, yoruba, ijaw, Igbo, Ibibio, nupe, Kowa, PDP or APC. Justice must be served! Every goat that fed fat on the yams meant for the security of the country shall know no peace

I am ending this piece by expressing 'great' disappointment in Dr Goodluck Jonathan for allowing this monumental fraud to go unchecked under his watch. I don't want to believe that GEJ benefited financially from the whole arrangement for now. I am patiently waiting for the investigators' report. Only God knows how many more fraud were perpetrated by officials of the former administration and their allies across party and tribal line.

May God Bless Us All and Bless Nigeria

Maybe I should be more clear (1) the President does not have that constitutional power to singlehandedly restructure Nigeria and because d north has more members in the national Assembly... It will not fly. 2) southerners will be killed in d north if d north is against it. Rem Denmark picture?
TonyeBarcanista:
If I'm the President I will be hated by the elite. I will do the needful without fear of losing political allies.

In the case of Jonathan, he was more concerned about his political life(second term) and never wanted to move against the norm. It takes courageous leadership to do certain things. Convoking of SNC will not please the elite(from both regions) and will definitely pitch powerful forces against the President. But he's the President with full powers of the State. Trust me, he will beat them any day.

See the case of TSA for instance, while GEJ's administration were pussy-footing with full implementation(despite that they conceived it), the PMB administration came and were resolute on the implementation. Why do you think some elite mobilised against subsidy removal(though GEJ would have put in palliative)?what happened to the subsidy thieves? What separate a leader from others is the will to do what is noble. Hence, GEJ's excuse of the 'North' won't pass. Leadership comes with responsibilities

You are far too bright to think that even GEJ as president has the power to restructure Nigeria. Unless the Hausa-Fulani wants restructuring, any attempt, dogs and baboons will be soaked in blood. Who wants Nigeria to scatter in his tenure? Or you think the chief beneficiaries of this warped structure will just agree like that. Nigeria is not one and can never be! How do you expect oil and water to mix? cry
TonyeBarcanista:
This is called Blame Game. The fact remains that the presidential powers of this country rested with Jonathan for FiVE years. He never made any attempt, hence, he's to bear Full responsibility for the failure of his administration to restructure the country.
