It's a no brainer, stay where you are.
With your double M.Sc and work experience in both UK and US and presumably another research degree forthcoming, why is the naija option as described even an option for you. Oh boy, stay where you are and work yourself up to a good career over there. A word is enough for the wise.

TravelRe: Ex BBC Boss, David Hayward, Writes About His Experience In Nigeria (Igbo land) by dnative(m): 6:03pm On Jul 07, 2015
bigfrancis21:
EARLIER this year, I was approached to do some media consultancy in Nigeria. I had just left the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) after 18 years to set up my own business, so this seemed a great opportunity.

In my view, it is a fascinating country that needs a massive PR (Public Relations) overhaul. I would better find another source of anecdotes about how brave I am for my friends at home in the Leicestershire countryside and at my favorite place in London, the Frontline Journalism Club.
Seriously what were folks expecting him to write? He's been commissioned for media consultancy work and would hardly be expected to emphasize the negatives about Nigeria. He's got a business and needs to make profit whichever way you look at it.
