Nigeria might have every symptom of a failed state , none the less, attempts to resuscitate it or ameliorate the living conditions of people can only succeed if the causes of yester- years woes are clarified .

Nigeria has had 11 head of government since independence , yet it has been one tail of mismanagement to another . No doubt the country has had disciplined leaders like Murtala and Shagari, maybe even Ekwueme and our current president ( Buhari's probe allegedly found them poorer than when they were in office ) but none of them has been charismatic enough to either have disciples who share the same goal or instill long lasting policies and pro-people measures that can stand the test of time fate , circumstances and events readily shove them aside .

An average Nigerian will readily claim that our past leaders are to blame for our numerous woes , but if 10 people can fail to succeed , then maybe it's more than a conspiracy maybe it's the system

It has been alleged that Nigerian superstar artiste, Flavour N'abania, has got a new baby mama, who is said to be madly in love with the singer. According to an anonymous social media user, the lady who has been identified as Onyinye, was reportedly same lady who had a social media fight with Flavour's ex-girlfriend, now turned singer.

Drama as Corper who sought Photograph with Fayose gets Automatic employment

Osamwonyi Bright Osas is a graduate of Political Science and Public Administration who is observing the mandatory one year National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) programme at the College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti.

Luck  came his way as he encountered Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose when the came to Ikere Ekiti for on the spot assessment  of the third phase ongoing Ado/Ikere road dualization on Thursday 20th April, 2017.

Governor Fayose had finished the supervision and was on his way to his bus when Osas accosted him, "good afternoon Mr. Governor, I am a native of Edo, I relocated from Adamawa to Ekiti State because of my love for you,  I follow everything you do religiously online, I love you so much and I pray God take you higher and higher. I graduated from UNIBEN with a first class in Political Science and Public Administration, one thing I pray thee Sir, please allow me snap with you Sir", Osas who was in NYSC outfit begged.

Without blinking an eyelid, the governor obliged and photographers did the needful. Immediately after this, the unusual happened, "go to the provost tomorrow, tell her I asked her to give you automatic employment", Mr. Fayose said.

Osas who was overwhelmed by the governor's gesture went on his kneels in appreciation, thanking God and governor Fayose for the favour. Speaking with newsmen after the encounter, Osas said "I am overwhelmed seeing the governor of Ekiti State today,  he's an amiable leader and he is so down to service, when I was in school as an undergraduate I do read many of his speeches on what governance should be, on how to move Nigeria forward.

"I am in love with the fact that he's fearless, he discharges his duties without fear or favour, that is one of the qualities I cherish in him. I learnt from him that for you to rule successfully, you must appreciate the common man, he is a very good friend of the masses,  seeing him come so close to the people inspires me, I was just coming from my CDS now and I saw him here, I was so happy and I said I must see him before he leaves and that was why I accosted him.

"I just thanked God for what happened now and I pray God bless him abundantly. He has just called the provost that I should be retained, that I should be given automatic employment, permanent employment, he called the provost and the provost said first thing on Monday I should come with my CV. I just want to appreciate governor Fayose."

The Federal Government says its anti corruption agencies have been inundated with information of how looters have resorted to burying stolen funds in their backyards, deep forests and burial grounds.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, who disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday in Lagos, said the whistle blower policy is working and has led to the recovery of more looted funds in many currencies.

Mohammed assured in a statement signed by his Special Adviser, Mr Segun Adeyemi, that all the recovered looted funds were safe and government will give full account to Nigerians.

The minister thanked Nigerians for their enthusiasm and commitment in helping the government to tackle corruption through disclosure of useful leads to appropriate government agencies.

“Since we launched the whistle blower policy, we have received immeasurable support from Nigerians.

“Yes, there is monetary reward for any information that leads to recovery of looted funds, but..........

Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has brokered a $1.5B project for the establishment of a Shoe Industry in Aba, the commercial nerve Centre of Abia State from Huajian Shoe Industry in Dongguan, Guangzhou, China.
Governor Ikpeazu, according to a press release by his Chief Press Secretary, Enyinnaya Appolos, secured the agreement during a meeting with Mr. Zhang Huarong, Group Chairman of the Huajian Group in the course of his official visit to China for the 1st Nigeria-China Governors Investment Forum.
The Abia-Huajian Shoe Industrial City, which will be located in Aba will have capacity to produce 5,000 shoes per day and employ about 10,000 people directly and indirectly.
Abia State Government will provide the land and other investment incentives for the project while the Huajian Group will fund the entire project.
Mr. Huarong, who noted that Governor Ikpeazu was the 1st Nigerian Leader to visit him, disclosed that the Huajian Group was already employing 6,000 staff and is currently developing a 250 Acre ,............

Its funny when i heard people curse and blame Judas Iscariot, for betraying Jesus christ.

Though am not very good when it comes to scriptural reasoning.

But from what i heard and read from the bible, i believed it was the fulfilment of prophecy.

Remember the bible says, heaven and earth shall pass away , but no iota of my word shall pass way.

So whatever happen i believe, it was designed by God.

So my point now is , i don't think its right blaming Judas, its the fulfilment of prophecy!

Hi,
I've been single since my first relationship turned toxic and recently I met a guy, a student like me who's so into me...we got talking and I found out dat we have a lot in common and a relationship might work for us..we were friends for over a month till he recently asked me out which I accepted since I like him already...he's nice,loving and caring...
Fast forward to two nights ago, he called and said he had something important to tell me about himself, that he's so in love with me and don't wanna get hurt when I get to leave him if I found out that ugly part of him, I got scared and told him to meet me up and tell me face to face which he did last night, he said he's a very deadly cultist and has killed a lot of people who stood in his way,he also said that he's a Lord or whatever and said many creepy things that scared me..he showed me d marks all over his back and I got goosebumps instantly,he was crying while saying this and I cried too..
I told him that I'll see him later and I've been dodging his calls since,had to leave school early today so he won't see me..
Right now,I have a lotta things running through my mind and am confused..
Should I continue this relationship knowing that am dealing with a deadly cultist or should I quit while it's still early??
