The pelvic pain and waist heaviness is three much o, it wasn't like this in my first. I waddle worse than a duck, my tummy is massive, everyone calls me 'Mama Triplets'.

Delivery is 23000, episiotomy is 3000 then I was given some drugs for 4200.
CS is 150000.
Antenatal was usually fun for me, you'd do exercise, sing and all. For my scan, I used ARETT and didn't do scan in SMCH.
They're very neat and labour room doesn't smell, you might even be the only one who's going to deliver on that day, ward is neat also and they pay close attention to one in labour (dunno if it was the nurse assigned to me) I'd pick them over the general hospital.... No need to queue up to pay for anything and Dr attends to you without rush.

Cost implications for antenatal registration is approximately #9,000 (Folder = #1,500; Lab tests = #4,500; Scan = #2,000; Consultation fee = #1,000)

On every monthly antenatal visit from the day you registered up till 7 months, you pay a consultation fee of #1,000.
Once you start bi-weekly/weekly antenatal (at 7 months till delivery) you pay #500 for consultation fee.

Normal delivery is approximately #20,000 to #35,000 depending on several factors.

C.S. delivery is approximately #120,000 to #150,000 also depending on various factors.

Today I am going to change my provider at NHIS to a hospital with better pregnancy management facilities.
I have chosen of St Mary's Catholic hospital gwagwalada.
Hopefully by next Month the change should be effected and can start antenatal there.
I see a gynecologist at the GH every two weeks for monitoring.I am currently on 10mg progesterone 3 times daily and folic acid.

I want to salivate .

SMC hospital... That's the hospital I used for my first baby and still using for this second one. They are okay.

I'm doing okay and baby is kicking well too. Just that this pregnancy came with laziness, weakness and fatness compared to my first. Waist pain dey do me strong thing too.

EDD is 2nd October, please update.

Please I was shortlisted for the n-build program in a different state from where I actually reside (I think it was N-Power themselves that made this mistake online) and because of that I was refused registration in my state of residence (I'm a nursing mother and won't be able to relocate). How can this be rectified please?

Abuja moms pls where can i get the 12months vaccine? That's meningitis. Kubwa general hospital said they don't givr except there's an outbreak.

We got ours at St. Mary's Catholic Hospital, Gwagwalada (costs #10,000). It was for Meningites and 4 others, all given at 12 months.

They never lack any vaccines in this hospital.

Use Cacatin lightly on the patches alone, not on the whole of her body, it should clear the ela.

For the rashes, keep her well aerated, up her hygiene, stop all oils and butters on her skin, let it breath. She'll be fine and you'll be fine too. Take care.

Good morning mamas. Please come to my aid. See pix of rashes on baby's face. She's 5weeks plus. Her head also have the dry scaly thing like dandruff. Been using cocnut oil n combing that. But I'm very concerned abt the face especially the whiter part that keeps spreading. Started baby tribotan on doc prescription but it's not changing the whiter part.
Pls sabi mamas advise pls.

This white spreading patch on your baby's cheek (though without the rashes) was exactly the same way it happened to my daughter when she was two months old.
They said it was "ela" (Yoruba) "nla/nra" (Igbo)- Infant dermatitis/Baby eczema.

We tried EVERYTHING - Baby Tribotan, bitter leaf, basil (scent) leaves, shea butter, vaseline, powders, changed her soap, Yoruba herbs, Red (Acalypha) leaves, etc.

It came on and off till I used the herbal cream called Cacatin (bought it just #120 oh) and the patches cleared off completely within 3 days, by then she was five months...
