Nice write-up colleague. Its painful what quacks are doing to our profession. A lot of quacks handle cases so poorly and even cause life threatening injuries to pets, before clients will then realize and make extra efforts to look for the actual veterinarians. I've experienced scenerious like this a lot of times.
I'm a veterinarian (female), ABU graduate, Abuja-based. |

ThatPetiteChic: Happy new week...
I went for ANC today and there was this preggy mama really gisting us and I was enjoying her discussion. Suddenly, Naso she face me ooo saying my belle should be in the first trimester. I looked at my sweet bump and looked at hers, and smiled. I later heard her telling another mama beside me that she is 6months. Naso I start to dey laugh o and she had to ask me how many months, of which I said 5months+. This funny woman was just shouting that it's a lie. I'm happy for my small bump because it complements my stature . The most important thing is doctor confirms baby is doing well.

OP, if you can't cater for your in-laws, please send them all back home. I blame their parents for even allowing all their kids to go and stay in their married sister's house. So wrong. And I'm sure that your insensitive wife is still a very young girl, probably in her early 20s.
Also, let your wife get something doing so she earns and also contribute to the family. I don't know how some men are comfortable with their wives being complete house wives. If something happens to you today, what will become of your family. Get your wife something to do, economy is not smiling. |

optm: you eye strain and pain may not be attributed to the glaucoma. I highly suspect the cause to be an uncorrected refractive error. I'll advise you visit the eye clinic for an exam This is very very true doctor. I was diagnosed of having refractive error in the year 2008. I was also given a photochromic lens to be using. But i stopped using it after a few months cause it usually leaves me with headache anytime I wear it. Please what can I do? What exactly cause refractive error please? |

Good morning Dr. I was diagnosed with having 'assisted, normal tension' glaucoma in 2017 (my dad battled glaucoma for some years and was operated upon about 10 years ago). I've been on and off Alphagan 0.02% eye drop from time to time and I also supplement with yeast tablets and cod liver oil capsules. Even with all of these, my eyes get overly strained and painful sometimes. Please what can I do? Should I switch to a different eye drop? Should I add something new? |
