Business / Nairabus And Lifepurse Loan Apps Fraud by doclatom(m): 2:18pm On Apr 06
Early this morning, I received a strange Whatsapp message from an anonymous person who introduced himself as personnel from Nairabuss loan app. He offered me a loan option which I declined that I wasn't interested in all these weekly stuffs. He urged me to download their two apps APKs Nairabus and Lifepurse which he sent to me on Whatsapp and asked me to sign up that the loan amount will be upgraded. I did. He but their default amount was what was still showing. I told him I wasn't interested. He said I needed not worry that I should log out and log back in to see the improved offer. I did that but immediately on logging back in, I just saw that a certain useless amount of money was being disbursed to me. Something I didn't apply for. And I'm expected to repay twice the amount in just seven days. I immediately complained to the guy who was chatting me initially but he ran away. Sent a message to him that I'll keep the chat record and screenshots I sent to him as evidence in case of legal redress.
This is to bring to public knowledge these unwholesome practices from these people. And I've decided to fight them on this.

I hope this can be moved to front page for public awareness.

NB: Both apps credited me forcefully with loans I didn't apply for.

This isn't true. I know those who surrounded Obi when he was making that clarification and Adewole wasn't there neither was he the precipitator of Obi's coming clean at that moment. He wasn't panicking either. This is sheer mischief. Adewole wouldn't have come out like this also. No! The identity of those trying to hit A's head against B's is as good as mine.

Politics / Presumed Igbo/yoruba Hatred by doclatom(m): 7:20am On Jun 22, 2020
HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE OF HATRED BETWEEN IGBO AND YORUBA

I had the privilege of attending some meetings of the Yoruba and Igbo Leaders. I was not a leader but a youth who knew how to wash his hands.

At one of those meetings in Owerri, I think in 1989, I think, I listened to Uncle Bola Ige and other Yoruba Leaders take the likes of Mbakwe, R. B. Okafor and others to the cleaners when the Igbo said the Yoruba were betrayers, citing that Chief Obafemi Awolowo led them into secession with a promise that if the Igbo left Nigeria, the Yoruba would follow suit.

They accused him of not following up on his promise. Trust Uncle Bola Ige! He pointed to Chief Mbakwe and said, "you were there in the meeting between Awolowo and Ojukwu as I was. Is that statement correct?".He turned to two other Igbo and two Yoruba Leaders who were at that meeting and asked the same question, saying he had transcripts of the meeting between Awolowo and Ojukwu.

They kept quiet while the Yoruba Leaders affirmed that Awolowo never promised to follow the East into secession. What he said was that if the Igbo were "driven" out of Nigeria the Yoruba would take it seriously and reassess their own position. Igbo Leaders DID NOT CONTEST this version.

Then Chief Bola Ige threw in the clincher! "Who are you to accuse the Yoruba of betrayal?" he roared, and continued:

1. At Independence Awolowo offered a joint government between the NCNC and AG, with Zik as Prime Minister and Awo as Finance Minister. Awo and Zik "were still negotiating" when it was announced that Zik would be President in a coalition with NPC of the North. The East then collaborated in destroying the West and sending Awolowo and his leutenants to jail!

2. What of the 1965 elections which the West and the East agreed to boycott? We met all night and reached agreement about 3am on the day of the election. In the morning, while the Yoruba boycotted the election, the Igbo went to vote

3. After the 1979 elections Yoruba (UPN) and Igbo (APP?) Leaders were still at the negotiating table for a coalition when to their surprise, an announcement was heard that the Igbo (APP) had agreed to a coalition with the North (NPN)

4. After the 1983 elections, 1979 repeated itself. Not giving up, Awolowo reached out to Azikiwe again for cooperation. Talks started and they met in Benin where Awo pleaded passionately that only a collaboration between The Igbo and the Yoruba could save Nigeria. They didn't reach agreement but promised to meet again. Before the next meeting, the Igbo had again teamed up with the North.

Uncle Bola paused and then continued "we can go on and on. So how dare you accuse the Yoruba of betrayal? How many Igbo have been killed in Lagos, Ibadan, Akure, Oshogbo (he mentioned other Yoruba towns)? You have your businesses in the West and went to Western schools. Yet you count the Yoruba as your enemy. You get killed in Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Zaria etc and have your goods looted yet you consider the Hausa/ Fulani your friends. It's your choice. If you want to be slaves for ever, we can't help you"

I had never been so scared in my life. I thought the roof was going to fall. There was a pin drop silence and no Igbo dared interrupt Uncle Bola Ige because he was telling the truth. The Yoruba Leaders ended the meeting at that point and left. I hope Chief C. O. Adebayo's memoirs will give more details of those exchanges.

Now to make three points from all this:

A. The Yoruba have been stretching their hand across the Niger for a handshake for a long time. The Igbo refused to take it for a long time until recently

B. Many Igbo Leaders of the 70s, 80s and 90s deliberately perpetrated the legend of Awolowo's role betraying them into the civil war and his role in prosecuting the war, to rally the Igbo population behind themselves. The Igbo agreed on Yoruba hatred than on any other issue. So it was the fabric that held them together for a long time

C. Time heals all things. Many Igbo reading this will be hearing for the first time that their leaders of old knew for a truth that Awolowo did not break his word to Ojukwu as alleged.

And to think of it, EVEN IF OUR PARENTS QUARRELLED, SHOULD WE THE NEW GENERATION CONTINUE THE SAME WAY?.

ITS TIME TO COME TOGETHER AND MAKE THE HANDSHAKE ACROSS THE NIGER WORK FOR THE SAKE OF OUR PEOPLES AND NIGERIA

Politics / Yoruba And Nigerian Hero: Col. Francis Adekunle Fajuyi by doclatom(m): 5:58am On Mar 09, 2020
When Col Francis Adekunle Fajuyi's immediate elder sister went to meet him(Fajuyi) in Ibadan, the headquarters of the western region, she took the opportunity to register a company so she could lobby for contracts from government.
When the Western region Governor, Col Adekunle, returned later that day from the office, they exchanged pleasantries and the big sister went ahead to show the kid brother the certificate of registration of her new company. Col Adekunle's mood changed immediately! He asked,
"What is this? Is this why you came from Ado Ekiti to this place? Do you want to soil my name? The thing we want to eradicate, you want me to have a hand in it? You will be going about getting contracts from the ministries? No way, you cannot do that!’
Then he tore the paper and went upstairs. The sister broke down in tear.
Col Fajuyi was an incorruptible soldier who became governor of old Western Region in January, 1966, and sent words to Ekiti to stop the building of his house, which was at foundation level on Textile Road in a place called Onimosoyin in Ado-Ekiti, because the ethics of public service demands that you do not acquire anything during service. He never had a personal house when he died.
Col Adekunle Fajuyi's "native intelligence" was legendary. Some British men came to have a meeting with Fajuyi and the Secretary to the government of Western region, Pa Odumosu, because they wanted to site an industry in Ibadan. At a point, the British requested to see Col Fajuyi privately, so Pa Odumosu was asked to leave. They wanted to bribe him!. The gave him huge cash and they left. Then Fajuyi called pa Odumosu and said the British brought "our money" and he said he collected the money from them because "it was part of our money." He then instructed him to pay the money into the government’s treasury.
Col Adekunle Francis Fajuyi was an embodiment of courage and unalloyed loyalty. Suicidal loyalty!. When the head of state, Aguonyi Ironsi went to Ibadan on official visit and gunshots were heard in the dead of the night, both the host and the guest were taken aback by the ugly development.
The government house had been surrounded by soldiers of northern extraction in a COUNTER-COUP. In their pyjamas, Fajuyi and Ironsi went to the Governor's office to make calls for reinforcements. Then Ironsi asked Fajuyi,
"But you assured me yesterday that I was safe in your territory".
"Yes, I thought you were safe. I didn’t know anything. I didn’t hear anything. But don’t worry, the two of us will stay together. Go and dress up and I will dress up. Anything that will happen will happen to the two of us." Fajuyi replied.
The invaders broke in and before they saw the Head of State, they told Fajuyi;
‘Give us Ironsi, we want Ironsi. Give us Ironsi, we want Ironsi.’
Fajuyi stood his grounds and replied;
‘No, you cannot take him, he is my guest. Why didn’t you take him in Lagos or elsewhere? You cannot take him here. If you are taking him, then take me along"
Gallant, brave and outstanding soldier, Col Adekunle Fajuyi put his own life on the line to defend his guest and even when he was told they only wanted Ironsi, he stood by his guest and died with him.
He was just 40 year-old when he took a bullet for his friend. Fajuyi was survived by aged parents and very young children. His heartbroken father died shortly thereafter.

Politics / Forgotten History Of Igbo Tribe And Northern Alliance by doclatom(m): 11:38pm On Jan 23, 2020
 Found this interesting

Forgotten History Of Igbo Tribe And Northern Alliance.

Do you know that when Tafawa Balewa was Prime Minister of Nigeria;

Chief of Army Staff was from SE
Chief of Naval Staff was from SE
IG of Police was from SE
Chief of Defence Staff was from SE
Internal Affairs Minister SE
External Affairs Minister SE
Education Minister South SE
Many other key ministries to SE
Parliament President SE
Unilag VC from SE
The University of Ibadan VC from SE
North resisted same at ABU!

Still, there was dissatisfaction by SE, the officers from the region killed this same Balewa!!!!

Out of all the most senior officers in Nigeria, SE has 37, none was killed. 8 from the north, all of them were killed. 10 from the west, 2 were killed.

Then Ironsi imposed a unitary system of government on the country so that everything can belong to a region who snatched it!

We must know our history so that when we want to make corrections, we will not end up concealing the truth. This has nothing to do with tribalism but everything to do with the truth.....at times when lies litter the streets. There is a tendency to think those are truths and facts.

*What follows are documented facts that can be cross-checked for authenticity!"*

Thou shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

*“Prof. Ben Nwabueze was the man who drafted the constitution that took away powers from regions and handed it to the central government because his brother Aguiyi Ironsi was the head of state then. Today, he is shouting restructuring that he helped to destroy. We won’t forget.”*.

WHAT BIAFRANS WILL NEVER TELL YOU ABOUT THE REAL CAUSE OF THEIR WOES IN NIGERIA TODAY:

The Igbo man is known to enjoy blaming the Hausa fulanis, Yorubas and indeed every other Nigerian tribe and Lord Luggard/Britain for their seeming claim of being in third class citizen status in Nigeria. In their perpetual attempts to play the victim card, they recount the political events of Nigeria from 1914 to the present in a half-baked and highly selective manner which cleverly avoids the mention of the roles played by their elite who by all natural laws of judgement were actually responsible for the woes that befell not only the Igbo race but the entire Nigeria nation. The story told in the post above is one of such selective and distorted accounts of history which the average Igbo man is fond of narrating.

However, the national archives have the complete and unedited history of Nigeria regarding the political events beginning way back from even before 1914. I will therefore proceed to furnish my readers with the complete story for all to read and be endowed with enough facts so as to judge and act from an informed position.

Shortly after the 1914 Amalgamation of the Northern and Southern Protectorates, it started getting clear that the country was bound to fail as the amalgamation in question was done with colonial fiat without the consent and consensus of the different tribes which were over 300. This prompted the political leaders to start asking for de-amalgamation so as to forestall the future danger which the forced amalgamation portended.

To that end, Ahmadu Bello, speaking on behalf of the Northern protectorate in 1944 described the amalgamation as "The mistake of 1914 which if allowed to remain will ultimately lead to unstoppable bloodshed and a failed country".
Awolowo, speaking on behalf of the Yorubas and Western minorities, described Nigeria as a mere geographical expression not qualified to be called a country let alone a nation. Awolowo added that if the amalgamation could not be reversed, then Nigeria should be structured as a strictly federal state so as to enable each tribe enjoy autonomy this freedom from being dominated by any one single tribe.

But Nnamdi Azikiwe, speaking for the Igbos, denounced Awolowo and Ahmadu Bello, terming them ethnic champions. He accused them of nursing a sectional agenda against the unity of Nigeria, and he declared further that the Unity of Nigeria was non-negotiable.

After moving the motion for independece in 1953, Anthony Enahoro proposed that a secession clause should be incorporated into the future constitution of Nigeria so as to give legal backing for any tribe to peacefully exit the forced union if it feels marginalized in future. According to Enahoro, such provision in our constitution would instill in all Nigeria's future leaders the fear of the consequences of misgovernance. But Azikiwe, speaking on behalf of Igbos, rose against him in the parliament and labelled him an agent of disunity, and enemy of Nigeria. At a later date, Awolowo too made a case for secession clause, but Azikiwe again resisted him and instigated the colonial authorities to threaten him and Enahoro with charges of treasonable felony if they didn't stop proposing secession clause for the future constitution. While Azikiwe did all these, Igbos cheered and urged him on because they felt the future Nigeria was theirs to dominate and lord it over every other tribe

Before independece, Tafawa Balewa too had in a public speech described Nigeria as a British experiment and Nigeria's unity as a British intention which Nigerians themselves don't believe in. But Azikiwe kicked and demonized him too. Had Azikiwe co-operated with Enahoro, Awolowo, Ahmadu Bello and Tafawa Balewa about the secession clause, Nigeria perhaps would not have been this misgoverned.

For those in doubt, here is a link of one of the numerous instances in which Nnamdi Azikiwe fought against the secession clause proposal for the future Nigeria constitution.

It should be noted that there were many Igbo members of the parliament in which Azikiwe fought against Awolowo's secession clause proposal in the link above, but not a single one of them rose against Azikiwe or condemned him.

Igbos initially never wanted to hear anything like secession in Nigeria because they so much believed, though falsely, that they were the most educated tribe. (The first Nigerian tribe to produce a university graduate is the Binis). As an evidence of Igbo domination agenda hence their initial resistance to the idea of secession; here are some quotes:

"From all indications, the god of us Igbos have destined us to rule the whole of Africa"..... Nnamdi Azikiwe (1945).

"It is getting clearer each day that Igbo domination of Nigeria is just a question of time"... Oscar Onyeamma. (1949). Anascopeterson: As at 1900, the whole of the present Benue State, Kogi East Senatorial District and some southern parts of Taraba State called Munchi District back then; were all in the Southern Protectorate. Whoever doubts this should consult MacMillan Atlas for secondary schools in Nigeria. With that situation the South had a higher population than the North hence always had an upper hand in any democratic bargain.

But as at the early fifties when the regions were being created, common sense dictated clearly that these areas should fall in the future Eastern Region. But against common sense, the colonial masters decided to gerrymander them into the Northern Region. While they did that, Azikiwe who was supposed to be in Enugu fighting against it as the leader of the East, was far away in Ibadan struggling with Awolowo to rule the Western Region and also playing the spoiler role against Awolowo's attempts to have Kwara and present Kogi Yorubas carved into the Western Region from the North which was already too large by landmass.

Anascopeterson: While he abandoned his burning house and was far away in Ibadan struggling against Awolowo for his own (Awolowo's) region, Igbos saw absolutely nothing wrong with that. Rather they applauded him as a nationalist. A nationalist whose house was burning yet busy chasing rats in a far away land.
Anascopeterson: When opinions became unanimous that Lord Luggard and his government must be forced out of Nigeria and indeed the whole of Africa, it was still the Igbos that frustrated the attempts. Here is how:

In 1948, Anthony Enahoro organized an anti-colonization symposium in Lagos for which Azikiwe and some other Igbos had agreed to deliver the keynote address. But when the D-day came, Azikiwe was nowhere to be found as he deliberately disappeared into thin air for fear of being arrested and dealt with by Lord Luggard. Anthony Enahoro then quickly replaced Azikiwe with another person who did the job improptu but perfectly well as he lambasted and lampooned Lord Luggard and the British Government. However, the British soldiers invaded the symposium venue, arrested the speaker and Enahoro and jailed them for treasonable felony. Ironically, the next day Azikiwe came out of hiding and granted a radio interview in which he accused Enahoro and the other organizers of suffering from youthful exhuberance.

On regaining his freedom few weeks later and being told of Azikiwe's radio interview, Enahoro resigned from his post as Editor of Azikiwe's newspaper - The West African Pilot.

Then he wrote a book titled "Nnamdi Azikiwe: Sinner of Saint". After launching the book, Enahoro left Azikiwe's party - the NCNC, and moved over to Awolowo's Action Group.

Anascopeterson: The first military coup in Nigeria was carried out by majority of Igbo army officers. That was the coup that truncated democracy just six years post Independence and led to a succession of coups which put the country on the reverse gear for 33 years.

Through that first coup, those Igbo army officers who accused the politicians and government of the day of monumental corruption, killed the political leaders of the Northern, Western and Midwestern Regions but allowed all Igbo political figures to escape by tipping them off prior to the D-Day. In addition to the killing of political figures, they also killed a total of 27 innocent high ranking military officers from every region except their Eastern Region.

In the end an Igbo man called Aguiyi Ironsi, who was supposed to have been killed alongside other military officers, ended up becoming the new military ruler of Nigeria. Rather than immediately arrest and punish the coup plotters, he kept them in detention where they were treated as heroes. This was actually what sowed the seed for the eventual Biafra War. On the 23rd of February 1966 (i.e. a month and 8 days after the first coup porpularly but wrongly known as Nzeogwu coup, an Ijaw born Army officer called Isaac Adaka Boro who hailed from Kaima town of present Bayelsa State, declared the secession of the Niger Delta Republic in an attempt to free his Ijaw people from the monumental marginalization they had been suffering under Igbos in the old Eastern Region.
But Aguiyi Ironsi immediately ordered Colonel Odumegwu Ojukwu to arrest him and hand him over to the military high command under him in Lagos. Ojukwu went all out against Isaac Adaka Boro with federal military might and within 12 fighting days killed 150 Isaac Boro's soldiers, arrested him, stripped him naked, and had him driven to Lagos and handed to Ironsi who immediately charged him to court and within two months secured against him a conviction of treasonable felony for which he was sentenced to death by hanging fixed for December that year by the Supreme Court. His 'crime' was that he declared secession of The Niger Delta Republic from Nigeria. Meanwhile the Igbo coupists who shed innocent blood of other tribes and even sprayed bullets into the bellies of the pregnant wives of Ahmadu Bello and Brigadier Shodeinde were not charged to court or arraigned before any military tribunal.

Isaac Adaka Boro was in detention waiting for December to come for him to join his ancestors. But God so kind, a revenge coup happened on July 29 by Northern soldiers and Ironsi was overthrown and killed. Gowon took over and released Isaac Adaka Boro unconditionally, reinstated him into the Army with his previous rank.

Then on May 30, 1967, Ojukwu too declared secession of Biafra Republic from Nigeria and without consulting or apologising to Isaac Boro, drew a Biafra map which included the very areas that made up Isaac Adaka Boro's earlier declared Niger Delta Republic for which he fought against him and killed his soldiers. Seeing such level of arrogance in Ojukwu, Isaac Boro asked Gowon to provide arms for him to crush Biafra by fighting on the Nigerian side in vengeance for Ojukwu's frustration of his own secession declaration 15 months earlier.
Isaac Boro, as an Ijaw man conversant with the waterways, led the Nigeria Army through the coastal areas into Igboland to finish off thousands of Ojukwu's soldiers thus leading to the crushing defeat of Biafra. But today, Igbos accuse Ijaws of betraying them in the war. But from the facts as above, who really betrayed the other in all honesty? Be the judge. Why Gowon fought against Ojukwu's declaration of Biafra was as follows:

After Ironsi and Ojukwu successfully crushed Isaac Boro's Niger Delta Republic declaration, Ironsi immediately proceeded to promulgate the Anti-secession Decree which made the mere mention of secession from Nigeria punishable with death by hanging. Ojukwu openly supported and endorsed the decree despite disapproval of it by the general public. So when Ojukwu later declared Biafra secession, he was reminded of the Anti-secession Decree made by him and his brother Ironsi.

Deadly Truth: Igbos frequently reference Aburi Accord to create the impression that the rest of Nigerian tribes don't honour agreements. This is a very dishonest narrative from Igbos.

First and foremost Aburi Accord was organized by soldiers and unelected civil servants who should not participate in political exercises like making laws due to the civil service anonymity principle. Secondly, those civil servants and military men in attendance were not elected by their federal constituencies to the Aburi summit. In the philosophy of democracy the only universally acceptable way of making laws is through duly elected representatives of the people. But in going to Aburi the peoples' representatives duly elected in the 1965 elections were all sidelined for soldiers to hijack the process. Where on earth do soldiers make laws for the people? Rather, the civilian populace makes laws that guide the military. Aburi Accord therefore had no seal of the people's sovereignty hence it was an illegality which shouldn't have been allowed to stand.

Thirdly, in 1957, Nigerians from all federal constituencies democratically elected representatives whom they sponsored to London, paid their flight tickets and hotel accommodation for the Independence constitutional conference. Those representatives all resolved and agreed on federalism marked by regional autonomy and resource control in the Independence Constitution which they brought back home and everyone accepted it.

In that constitution, Nigerians all agreed that on no account shall the military take over power. It was also clearly stated in it that ammendments to it could be done by only democratically elected representatives.

That constitution was the first ever agreement between all Nigerians. On the day of his inauguration as the Army GoC, Aguiyi Ironsi stood before the whole world and with his own mouth swore to protect and defend that sovereign Independence constitution regardless of the circumstances that may later arise. But just six years after he manufactured an excuse to clinch power against the clear provisions of that constitution we all agreed to, unilaterally began to amend its provisions with his very offensive Decrees, and ended up dismantling the federalism and resource control therein, and ultimately subverted that constitution we all painstakingly sacrificed to draft. That was the height of Irresponsibility and the dishonoring of sacred agreement. That was how Igbos breached the first agreement, all Nigerians, ever all mutually consented to, thus laying the foundation for violation of future agreements.

So Aburi Accord was only treated exactly the same way Igbos treated the Independence constitution agreement.
Anascopeterson: Obasanjo removed history from the school curriculum hence the reason why many of what we know of the eventualities in Biafra war were altered to suite their narratives.

Crime / Re: Man Arrested For Sleeping With His Two Daughters In Lagos by doclatom(m): 6:22pm On Jan 22, 2020
Birdeyeview:
no matter the gravity of sexual urge a man should have, sex with your child or relatives should'nt even come to mind as it's not only absurd and babaric but also an acts which is distestably gross both in the sight of GOD and the heart of men..
As much as I agree with you, allow me enlighten you a bit more. When you mentioned "the sight of God", do you realise that there were many many instances of consanguineous coitus and marriage in the Bible (can't say for Qur'an). A man's daughters in the Bible had sex with him and bore him children, God did not complain or punish them. Abraham married his sister. God instructed Israelites to only marry from among themselves knowing fully well that they are all from one descendant. A particular child of David had sex with another particular child of David, and it only became an issue because he was supposed to have formally asked for her instead of forcing her. One man in the Bible even married two blood sisters(their dad gave full consent).
You see, these are but few examples of what happened before God and it wasn't in record that God found it distasteful.
In ancient cultures all over the world, some of these things were rife and considered normal.
But then, since the advent of civilisation and the fact that we are evolving both anatomically and culturally for many reasons, let's stick to the idea that it's a taboo.
Whoever does it in this present age should be swiftly punished accordingly. We have enough available people to go round for sexual gratification or marital knots rather turning on family members.
Cheers.

I guess we should cut the man some slack then. Maybe they were allowed to omit English and Math in their time? It's quite surprising.

The headline may be a bit extreme but the body of the article clarifies it by saying he didn't sit for it. English and mathematics are basics necessary for all university discipline be it even religious studies.
The result paper shows that it was very much obtained from WAEC recently, same as Buhari did, and the certificate also.
Do not try to excuse away the importance of having a credit on both English and mathematics. What we are seeing here is the result of QUOTA SYSTEM. It's a really bad system because it rewards failure and indolence while depriving deserving ones of available opportunities.
My own dad studied in the 50s. He had to pass mathematics and English for his admission. How much more someone who studied in the late 70s.
I had to pass my mathematics and English too and I'm quite sure same was also for you if you furthered your education.

Religion / Re: Stop These Sexual Acts In 2019 by doclatom(m): 10:10am On Dec 29, 2019
Sexual organs are meant to give pleasures. If God doesn't want sexual pleasure in your life, He'd not have made those organs headquarters of pleasures. If you stimulate your organs for pleasure, no sin in that. What makes masturbation sinful isn't the pleasure but what goes on in your mind as you do you. Most times, the thoughts become unholy and perverse. If you maintain a normal thought pattern or pure mind while giving yourself physical pleasure, God won't take offence at that. But the question is, is it possible to do that? Yes and no!
Another angle to masturbation is that it draws your mind to physical pleasures and may make you lean in the spiritual strength God provides. The Bible says, the flesh is CONTRARY to the Spirit. So, if you want to grow exponentially is the strength of God, you will have to forego almost all pleasures, masturbation being part of it.
Aside the issue of sin, what masturbation can do is open portals in your life for demons to creep in. And that's usually as a result of unholy thoughts, NOT THE PLEASURE IN ITSELF!

From my experience when I used to masturbate, I felt less guilt and purer thoughts when I solely used my wife as object or focus of my masturbation. Once my mind roved to someone else, porn star or not, I felt emptier afterwards.

So, God isn't averse to pleasure. Find the balance that suits the purpose God calls you to and also be mindful of the hereafter!

Why would grown adults fret over being called somebody's man. Unless they're ashamed of being tagged with the man but, of course, has only found some usefulness in the said man.
You're Buhari man, you're Buhari man. Simple. If you're proud of that, no need for anger to well up.

The Fulani aren't powerful as we presumed, but since we have internalize our inferiority they will continue to Lord it over. They were decimated in Cameroon after the death of Ahmadu ahidjo same in Central African Republic, if only we choose to be fierce and strategic, they will soon realize this nigger land belongs to the pure negroid.

Fair enough! But you must acknowledge your enemies strengths, and in do doing you'll know his weaknesses. Cameroon is actually hostile to almost all other countries within their neighborhood. They have few country friends or allies. They don't really welcome foreigners and their economy seems to be and open and close case. If Cameroon were to be as developed as South Africa and Africans throng there, their own xenophobia will be worst!

Where are the cows? - Tinubu Bola
It is very unfortunate that most people around him are sycophants and praise singers…. The day he destroyed his legacy with his own hands is the very day he agreed to put his weight behind Buhari…..
There are three observations in past history about coalition with Fulani and these predictions are as foolproof as science formulas.
1. Any Southern elite that makes friends with a Fulani is out to serve self-interest and personal ambitions either for himself alone or for himself and a few handpicked elites
2. Such elite always looks the other way when the Fulani deals with his people …for as long as his self interest is protected
3. He always ends in disgrace and it matters little if he is a Muslim
The sage Awolowo understood this, that is why he turned down ever offer from the North in the first republic to fold up opposition, join the coalition and take ministerial slots for Yoruba people... In his journal... he wrote.....' I declined the offers because they were designed exclusively to gratify my self-interest, with no thought of fostering any political moral principle which could benefit the people of Nigeria.'
At 1960 independence, Zik teamed up with the North to serve the interest of Igbo elites… He did not care that the North has always been hostile to his people and massacred them in Jos in 1946 and Kano in 1956… He did not care as well that the Sadaurna openly expressed irritation against his people and put laws in place to restrict them in his region. What mattered was that Igbo elties as coalition partners had portfolios at federal level ( and Igbos only rebelled against Nigeria when their elites fell out at federal level)
Afonja invited Alimi and the Jamas to the vassal state of Ilorin to help him build a mini empire independent of Oyo… the very empire that elevated his house into nobility by appointing his great grandfather ( Laderin) as the first provincial Governor of Ilorin…. He looked the other way when the jamas plundered Ilorin and harassed his people… taking their farm produce and invading their homes….. when they have gained enough ground and helped isolate him from Oyo… they mudered him and took the throne from him…. His end was death by assassination.
Solagberu was given special privileges as feudal overlord at Ilorin…. In exchange, he pledged allegiance to an emir that stole the kingdom from his friend ( Afonja) for the Fulani caliphate at Gwandu….. He led many expeditions into Yorubalands to sack cities of his kinsmen and condemned many captives into slavery…. His end in the hands of Fulani was execution like Afonja when the emirate had no need of him anymore.
MKO Abiola was the financial strength behind opposition against Awolowo in the second republic. He financed Shagari’s campaign ( with an agreement that he would use only one term and hand over to him)…. For the most part of the second republic, MKO was a thorn in Awolowo’s flesh… he opened a newspaper company solely to embarrass Awolowo and his party…. Financed many hostile takeover of motor garages to destroy Awolowo’s strength in the street…. Only to get a rude shock when he was called to Shagari’s office and told frankly that the presidency is not for sale to the highest bidder and he should forget about his ambition ( for a reward, he was offered an oil bloc which he refused)…. Financing of the party was taken over by Umaru Dikko who was given special privileges in the corridors of power to raise funds for future campaigns….. His second opposition came when the Sultan pressured Babangida to annul the June 12 elections…. He admitted that he liked MKO as a person and fellow Muslim but if he ever became president, he would reverse the gains the North recorded since 1960 and undo the Sadaurna’s achievements in the North…. Ultimately, the results were cancelled Abiola jailed.... He spent his last years incarcerated and died in very suspicious circumstances.
Tinubu like Abiola does not represent the interest of the North…. Like many of the Yoruba predecessors mentioned… he is highly ambitious and only thinks of the Fulani as a means to an end…. Currently, he enjoys patronage for his handpicked lieutenants and turn a blind eye to sufferings of his people in the hands of Futa Jalon…feigning ignorance and asking "where are the cows"?…. Like many of the Yoruba elites before him that took the very path he is currently taking…. The end is predictable and certain.

With all these comments you can’t claim to be honouring Gen Gowon on his birthday.

If you know what a war situation is then you will know how not to be one sided. The Biafra leadership didn’t hire mercenaries as well just to come and have a cup of tea...or palmwine.

War situations can be pretty complex and defiant

See, I'm tempted NOT to respond to you but I'll resist the temptation this once.
I mentioned REASONS why I'm not happy with him. I mentioned his ignoble roles during the war. We're discussing Gowon today. So, basically, everything should centre round him and his deeds.
What's complicated about war history. You do am àbí you no do am? Simple. If you want to excuse yourself, then go write a book of lie or truth and state whatever you wanna write there!
I honour him. And I've equally prayed for him. If you're unhappy about that, I'm sorry I'm not sorry at all.

I'm not happy with Gowon for these reasons:

1. His role in Nigeria's civil war was ignoble. If you know, you know. He was the one who recruited the mercenaries from Niger and other neighbouring countries to finish off
Biafran civilians left untouched by the Nigerian army during the war. The mercenaries were called "GODOGODO". If you know, you know!
2. He was the one, as part of the deal in hiring the "GODOGODO" signed and sealed the agreement that the Fulani herdsmen have been using as excuse to invade Nigeria up till now. I mean the issue of grazing routes.
3. His silence as his kinsmen are being killed left, right, and center by Fulani militia/herdsmen is criminal and complicit to say the least.
4. He's the only ex head of Nigeria who's been ass-licking and bootlicking Buhari as at today. Even, Ernest Shonekan has shown more sense than him.

Anyway, I honour him on this day. Happy birthday to him. May he live long so as to personally experience the resultant horror he unleashed on hapless souls and the evil he condoned thinking it won't touch him. Amen!

ORIENTATION101:
Zik quest for domination is what ruined the first Republic. Awo+plus zik forming the govt would have rewrote the undue advantage given to north.
AG delegates during London conference opined for insertion of secession clause in the Constitution.was supported by north only for them to make U-turn after zik convinced them.
Am happy the descendants of zik re suffering from the foolishness and greediness of their ancestors

Thank you for reminding us of that fact as well. Awolowo made frantic efforts to have that "clause" in our constitution. Zik just DELIBERATELY made himself a stumbling block in the way of that wise sage: AWOLOWO!

is it Zik that betrayed Awolowo or Awolowo that betrayed Zik, when did the Carpet crossing take place please before or after the so called proposal for Alliance

Zik was the betrayer. And one of those who goaded Zik into making that decision has come out to openly regret that decision. I didn't put those words into Dr Michael Okpara's mouth.

ODVanguard:

Well, for me, there really are no 'saints' or 'sinners' when it comes to politics because it's all about interests. It's the same reason why even during the last election, both the Yorubas and Igbos/SS were ready to vote for separate Fulani men (even though under different platforms) even while there were other ethnicities vying for the presidency under other parties. In other words, we would've ended up with a Fulani/Northerner regardless of who won that election because the major Southern blocs had settled for their preferred Fulani/Northern candidate. If you ask me, I feel the original mistake started from the amalgamation of 1914 and right before independence when the Southerners insisted on the North being a part of the union as a condition for independence.

I can't say I blame Zik for refusing to work with Awolowo because he probably had his reasons which he must have felt was in the best interest of his igbo people. But I fault Awo's refusal to even consider working with the Northern establishment after being rebuffed by the same Zik. I feel that for as long as Nigeria continues to exist in its present form/political structure, the Yorubas cannot remain in perpetual opposition without a concrete strategy of playing mainstream politics (via formidable alliances).

Awo didn't want to pull the Yorubas out of Nigeria (Yoruba indpendence), yet he had no concrete strategy of gaining power at the centre in order to achieve his political aims for the country. Staying in opposition for too long comes at a huge cost, not just politically. He was clearly rigged out twice because he felt he could go it alone in becoming president of the country. I feel his experience during the federal elections if 1959 should've given him enough insights on how to play federal politics, but unfortunately he went on the repeat the same mistakes over and over again.

Ok! I'm glad you said all these.
-NO SINNER NO SAINT IN POLITICS
-Zik did what was right for IGBO INTERESTS by BETRAYING Awolowo (I'm sure you realise Awolowo and Zik had initially REACHED a gentleman's AGREEMENT to come together), not what he felt would be right for Nigeria as a whole.
-Awolowo wasn't suave politically because he chose NOT TO FORM ALLIANCE WITH NORTH AND FOR REMAINING IN OPPOSITION PERPETUALLY. But don't forget, I said Zik's decision left Awo in limbo. How would Awo now go to the north to form alliance when Zik had already done so against what they both(Zik/Awo) had already agreed on. Awo was jailed and humiliated on the advice of Zik to Balewa. Please, read that part of history very well. Awo was broken and emasculated by that decision. Akintola made matters worse.
-Who and who Amalgamated Nigeria? Not one single Nigerian was part of that deal. Check very well. Not one single Nigerian signature was there!

Anyway, what has happened has happened. Awolowo did what he had to do and Zik did what he did.
The Igbos crying foul that the west is subservient to Fulani, like you said, they also voted for another Fulani. It's pure hypocrisy in terms of political patronage.

History is history. Truth is truth!
