Haba.
So in this age there are some people that believe someone can make another man's manhood to disappear?
I won't be surprised if the duty officers in the police station that day are also staunch believers of that fairy tale, hence they looked the other way as those brothers hacked the man to death.
Despite the advent of internet and smart phones,I have not seen any remarkable change in the primitive beliefs and ways of many Nigerians.
They still believe widely in witchcraft, that someone can remotely control another's destiny from a village, that people can turn to birds to fly in the night to cause harm, that there is magun, that parts of human being can be harvested to make money and that manhoods can be made to disappear.
The annoying part is that this belief is not limited to some village dwellers or old people, but you see so called graduates, including multiple degree,pH.D holders and professors that believe these things 101%!

Politics / Re: Abba Kyari: NDLEA Act Prescribes 15 Years Imprisonment by doctokwus: 6:16pm On Feb 17, 2022
25 years and life imprisonment in one sentence!
Either it's a typographical error on the part of the bloggers of politics today or it's another example of evidence of depreciation in the educational level over the years,in this case exhibited by drafters of the act.
The correct phrasing should be 'life imprisonment or minimum of 25 years imprisonment'.

Who bought the coke from kyari? Shey na spirit<
These are questions people should be asking and putting pressure on the NDLEA to tell us for them to have done a complete job.
There are some indisputable facts here at play:
-Kyari was a middle man for the end buyer.
-He and his team have been doing this for a long time.
I bet if the drug cases his team handled when he was still officially in uniform and active was to be reviewed, the same pattern of reselling part of the drugs and shoddy handling or even murder of some suspects when directed by rival drug kingpins may be unravelled.
When Kyari was suspended no one picked up on the fact that his IRT team members, also fingered in the hush puppy deal were left untouched.A recipee for disaster

For the NDLEA under Marwa to have even broadcast that tape for the public shows they also know how dishonest and corrupt the Nigerian police is.
This is the first proper, evidence and factual reporting done by any agency crime agency of government in a long while.
Kudos to Marwa again.
Hope he doesn't lose focus down the line and hope he gets a higher task in the next government like that of head of the EFCC because don't even understand what that slim neck is doing there since he assumed office other than bursting into hotels to arrest yahoo yahoo boys and their pickers.

Crime / Re: Teacher Accused Of Flogging 19-month-old Baby To Death In Delta Speaks | VIDEO by doctokwus: 11:15pm On Feb 15, 2022
Why is no one asking how a child that was flogged but didn't collapse nor die immediately after the flogging could have been managed in a Hospital, including a teaching hospital, for days, but still ended up dying?
Much as the social media has passed judgement on the teacher,as usual and he hasn't denied the flogging, eventhough he disputes the severity,we got to ask ourselves questions in this country. If Hospitals cannot for days, effectively manage a child that was flogged but was fully conscious when admitted, then something must be fundamentally wrong with our medical set-up.
I won't be surprised to hear again that during the days that child was managed in the first hospital,he was treated mainly for malaria and typhoid!
I won't also be surprised if an autopsy, properly done, not that type done by that Warri pathologist, that relied more on history, than anything close to an autopsy,to arrive at his findings, turns out to find other causes, rather than flogging,as the cause of the child's death.
But of course the social media has already passed its verdict so is already blind to any contrary finding and won't accept any other cause of death than the flogging.
No matter what one Naira activities, social media jurists and courts of justice and emotional people out there may say,I don't believe the flogging was the cause of that child's death. The pathophysiology and medical data cannot just support it.
The teacher may be arraigned for flogging a child, but arraignment for homicide would be a total miscarriage of justice.

Funny party,funny people.
They should caution a tout?
Why they were praising Aregbesola and him,Tinubu and the presidency carried out the most brazen daylight rigging ever witnessed in Nigeria's election (the run off btw oyetola and Adeleke) did they ask for Aregbesola to be cautioned?
But now that he has started exhibiting his toutish color in his own backyard to his own people, they are asking for him to be cautioned.
When people were telling family and relations of a mad man that he was stark naked in the streets & should be tied, they laughed them off.Now the mad man has started started going stark naked before his family and in-laws,they are running around telling the jujuman to do something.
Juju too has a time frame to act.

This is the dindirin that was supporting Abba Kyari even when the FBI indicted him for fraud.
When some of us talk and analyse issues, people should listen and digest issues with us.
I remember when on a thread I expressed skeptism about Abba Kyari and even went as far as saying he was a scam, several months,if not up to 2 years before his corrupt ties with hush puppy was exposed.
I said then that any police officer that craved that much publicity as Kyari did, even in cases his team was not involved in,but he identified and wanted to claim the credit for;must be fishy.
That a police officer that once headed or was part of the top guns in Ikeja SARS team, with all the notoriety and atrocities SARS Ikeja was fingered in,including bribery, corruption and outright murder of suspects, can NEVER,be a good policeman the press were projecting Kyari to be(wish I had time to dig out that thread and those posts of mine then).
But,has as been proven with several cases with Nigerians, the social media is not a place for proper use of brains and presentation of facts because only one sided emotional views is heard and press projection of him as a supercop, was the only thing people wanted to hear.
Social media doesn't seem to allow Nigerians to have critical thought processes of their own as many cases have proved time and time again.
The very few of us that saw one big scam and a hardened criminal in Kyari were drummed out and ignored.
People like this npama,Igbokwe and even NASS and so called social media activists, bought into the scam and criminal, when a basic background analysis should have raised doubts and a deeper analysis with better information people and bodies like that, can ferret out, should have concretely proved what I tried drumming into people's ears,Kyari is a big scam, utterly corrupt and a criminal cop that should ordinarily be facing multiple charges of corruption and extra judicial killings.
Little did I even know his criminal tendencies is all encompassing to include trafficking and dealing in hard drugs.

Wao! Thought it was one of SaharaReporters many fabricated stories.
The video looks real and it actually looks like he was truly being rushed to the loo.
I am beginning to feel someone has gone to the fabled Nigerian village to consult witches to tell them to make Tinubu embarrass himself.
I am suspecting Osinbajo and his associates.
He feels Tinubu maybe his main threat and not wanting to compete against him publicly, they have gone to the strongest witches to disgrace him,so that Tinubu can personally withdraw from the race.
But I would prefer an Anyim or Rotimi Amaechi.
Osinbajo looks like another disaster in making.

Kpangolo activist, always shifting like the sand.
Blaming common Nigerians for vices caused by the same man he praised.
If youths in the western world, more specifically white youths are passing through the same level of unemployment, poverty and general loss of hope that youths in Nigeria are passing through, they would also get involved in vices like prostitution, scams and other serious vices.
A society that has created a few stupendously rich people with millions of poor people, especially youths of both sexes,is always a good recipee for debauchery.
The leadership in Nigeria, over several years, but especially these past 8 years has been one of the root causes of the sorry state of youth vices and criminality in Nigeria.
When a God fearing girl, that attends church or mosque is faced with extreme poverty, not knowing where the next meal or even the money for her next menstrual pad will come from, sees a man or someone that guarantees her her basic needs for sexual or other immoral favors,it takes more than fear of what society will say,to keep her morality.
When your friend that is into "runs" gets the best things, meets someone that meets her needs, looks good and is attracting the well to do men,it takes more than fear of God,for you to be moral in an immoral society.

compared to when i was in Nigeria, where even a school dropout would be passing judgments on you.

It's even fair it's a school drop-out.
You never met a scenario where those that never attended school or came to town from the village for the first time, never been going to orthodox hospital for treatment tell u what to do and go out and be saying that hospital don't know what they are doing?
Or so called educated people come around and tell you they have malaria and typhoid when something more serious is happening and insist on being treated for it,even after having taken at least 2 courses of antimalarial drug and different antibiotics within a space of 1 month!
What is being practiced in Nigeria is just glorification of the word medicine. Its better they return to traditional herbs and spiritual ways of curing ailments because they are not ready to practice proper medical care.

Can't the doctors put heads together and produce drugs
There is something for very small sized and single ones.
But the large sized and multiple ones have proved a challenge due to the nature of the fibroids themselves.
Another reason why it's like this is that fibroids are peculiar to black women so no extensive research into drug therapy, other than surgery has been done.
Aside the cost and emotional fear of surgeries in Nigeria, the operation in competent hands is quite safe and largely successful.

There is mad competition in villages in Anambra State.
Honest, working class people and businessmen don't mind staying in room and parlor or even a room in Lagos, sacrificing all their hard earned money to build befitting homes in their villages.
Though the hardwork of the honest ones have been diluted by a few others who seeing what their mates have done,go all out to get money through criminal means, the principles still remain same, home comes first.
It's always fun going to villages during the festive season, the ambience, the nostalgia and the development who wow one.
It's general in almost all villages in the entire Anambra State and something their sons/daughters pioneered but has since extended to other SouthEastern states.

Anyone telling someone with fibroid that there is a herbal concoction that would make fibroids to disappear is a crook.
But surprisingly enough even educated women that are supposed to know better, fall for this scam.
Once a fibroid has reached the size of disturbing your menstrual flow or affecting your fertility, the only known solution as at today is surgery.

Go to any state in Nigeria, after the indigenes of that state, Igbos come next by population. How many Igbo do you think stay in the SW? In Lagos, Igbos would be upto 30% of the population at least
Saying there are more Ibos outside the SEast than there are in the region itself is just pure hogwash and shouldn't be repeated by anyone that passed through basic school.
As per 30% of Lagos population is just one of those beer parlor tales that should be asserted after a proper study or census.
The Hausas will also come out tomorrow to lay claim to another 30%, meanwhile the Yorubas will pump out their chest and tell u they make up 80%.

Take for eg the last presidential elections.
People were shouting massive turnout everywhere when they saw queues in many polling units.
At the end when all votes tallied, average turnout was a mere 35% even in large states and Lagos did not even record up to 30% voter turnout.
A Nigerian may visit a part of Britain where there are an aggregation of many Nigerians in a particular area of town and comes out the next day to tell you there are more Nigerians than whites in Britain!

LWKMD!!Oga stop been funny. The margin in the entire SW was barely 500k in the last two presidential elections. You must be dreaming of you think Tinubu can get a margin of 400k in Lagos alone.

It is even easier for Tinubu to secure a margin of 400k in Oyo than in a very cosmopolitan state like Lagos
I used that eg based on the 60:40 projection the person I quoted gave.
Funny enough, despite Buhari's disastrous rule and the expected higher enlightenment level expected of Lagos State,APC still won Lagos with a 150k margin; while they lost Oyo State in 2019.
So much for Lagos being full of educated, enlightened people!

cktheluckyman:

Oga Tinubu can never win anything more than 60% of votes in Lagos.Majority of the non-yorubas in Lagos will not win in Lagos. If you doubt this check the results of the last two presidential elections in Lagos.

The APC will score a very narrow win in Lagos. You won't get any margin from there
I agree.
But a 60-40% win ratio in a 2million vote tally count is even huge. That is a margin of victory of 400k!
Oga,400k in an election where massive rigging for Buhari in the North won't happen, due to his absence on the ballot,is quite substantial.
If up to 3million votes can be mobilised, using your 60-40 ratio, that gives 600k!!Though,unless in a rigged voting,I don't see Lagos mobilising more than 2.5million to the polls.
Forget, all the figures being produced in the past, the honest truth is that for various reasons like disinterest, location being different from where people registered for PVC,apathy, sickness, death and sheer disinterest,no free/fair election in Nigeria, anywhere, would get more than 35% voter turnout
