South Africa for eg used to have mercenaries called 'Executive Outcomes'.If groups like that still exist,third party talks could take place to find out if they would be ready to go into combat against the Russians to stop their genocidal track.
Groups like that could give Ukraine a real boost and make the conflict not just further difficult but real painful to the Russians in terms of numbers of casualties.
Imagine having a mercenary group with modern gear and radar jamming tools having that Russian convoy just sitting there waiting for the taking.

I always doubted and just couldn't believe flogging could have caused the death of that child and I said as much.
Many kids in Nigeria are flogged,even more severely than that baby was,yet survived to tell the tale.
I also voiced out concern that we must do some serious soul searching in this country if 2 hospitals,including and particularly a teaching hospital (DELSUTH) could manage a child flogged in their facilities and yet that child died.
The challenge now is finding out if the baby sustained any injury during the time he was flogged,just as Oromoni junior had an ankle injury,that wasn't managed and caused sepsis.If he did then it could be that the wound caused by the flogging was the originating cause of the septic infection and poor medical management as the contributing factor.
But if there was no noted external injury during the autopsy,then the flogging had no part at all to do with his death and that teacher should be discharged.
We must always open our minds,rely on facts and not allow emotions cloud our judgements,lest we punish innocent people for crimes or deaths they had no role in.

It took me just 6 months into his tenure to know the man was a scam.
As I tell people that know I supported him vehemently in 2015,it wasn't even his growing incompetence and bigotry that made me see him for who he trully is.It was for just these 2 reasons early in his goverment (2 reasons others may have overlooked but I knew epitomises what he would become): (1)His failing to declare his assets publicly as he promised.Then when pressured to do so,said he had "at least ₦10million in his account". Trying to be clever than half knowing if he reveals his true assets,it would just blow to dust the claim and propaganda about him being an incorruptible man,a man of integrity living a spartan life.
(2)His claim during the campaign that his certificate was seized by the army or military secretary,but when he was sworn in & became the CinC,couldn't give the military a simple one line command to produce the certificate to show the Nigerian public he was telling us the truth.
His other failings,incompetence,bigotry,nepotism,clannishnes,senility etc,I just took in my stride because I expected them once I saw through him.

How PDP appoints these kind of dull people is just baffling.
A vibrant party led by people with some intellect would have run APC out of contention with the terrible performance of Buhari,but when you readsenseless,impossible statements like these by their top shots,you get to understand why PDP is the way it is.
A party even contemplating giving it's presidential ticket to a Northerner after 8byears of a Buhari rule cannot be led by sensible people.
