Christianity Etc › Re: Take The Gospel Story Quiz To Prove Your Bible Knowledge! by DoctorAlien(m): 6:28pm On Dec 23, 2016
2. John summarized the events from Pilate's judgment to the arrival at golgotha in just one verse(17). John made no mention of Simon of Cyrene and his being compelled to bear the cross. That is a detail he did not add. He simply added that Jesus bore His cross away and began to journey to golgotha to be crucified, and the next scene he narrates is the arrival at golgotha.

Suffice it to say that the gospels didn't tell us all that happened. Contrary to the lie found on the quiz site, the Bible does not say that Simon of Cyrene bore the cross until they got to golgotha. Matt. 27:32 simply says they compelled him to bear the cross. He could have borne it for only 5 minutes. No one knows.

Moral lesson: whoever bore the cross to golgotha, Hallelujah! JESUS DIED TO SET ME FREE FROM SIN AND ITS CONDEMNATION!

1. Two young men appeared to the women in the sepulchre. However, Mark focuses on the young man who spoke to the women, because the two young could not be speaking at the same time. Any competent Bible student knows that Mark is usually not into details. Mark most probably penned down the gospel as he heard an eyewitness(most probably Peter) narrate.

Luke says "they said unto them". The use of the pronoun "they" indicates that the young men had the same message for the women. My mother can tell me to shun smoking. However, I can rightly say that my Parents told me to shun smoking.

As far as I know, the writings of the true early Christians are in complete harmony with the Bible.

The true early Christians can't be saying one thing, while GOD is saying another thing in the Bible.

That is crytal clear!

ScepticalPyrrho:
No. That is not the basis of atheism.
Even if you deny it openly, you know that deep within you, you hate this GOD who tells you to stop living in sexual immorality, to stop lying, to stop being too greedy for money, to stop using filthy and unholy words, to be modest in all you do, and to acknowledge Him in your life as the rightful Creator and owner.

You'd rather continue to assure yourself that this GOD does not exist.

It doesn't change anything, you know.

A deist does not believe in GOD: certainly not the true GOD, Jehovah.

Beside Him, is there any other GOD?
Christianity Etc › Re: What Is "Atheism"? Why You May Be Very Wrong by DoctorAlien(m): 1:23pm On Dec 23, 2016
And it's also very illogical to claim the creator of the universe would give a hoot on very personal aspects of your life like what you eat, wear, how much money you give to it, your sex life
Is this not the basis of atheism? The denial and rejection of any righteous GOD who frowns at immorality?
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Masturbation A Sin?. by DoctorAlien(m): 12:46pm On Dec 23, 2016
Masturbation is a sin.

"But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof." Rom. 13:14

First, you cannot masturbate without entertaining sexually immoral thoughts in your head. Christ encourages us to keep our thoughts pure and holy. Anything which is lustful and perverted is of the devil, and therefore is sinful. Also, masturbation goes together with pornography, no one can deny.

The fact that our atheist friends see nothing wrong with masturbation goes to show the reason why they chose to become atheists: they simply cannot entertain the idea of a righteous GOD who reprimands them for their sinful habits, which include sexual immorality.

"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good." Psa. 14:1

Touching the nature of GOD and the relationship between the Three, I honestly agree that I'm not yet in the know(I'm still searching the Scriptures). However, I reject the roman catholic doctrine of trinity. I encourage everyone to read and believe only the things found in the Bible(preferebly KJV).

3. Of course, the evil influence of roman catholicism has reached unto the ends of the world. It dominated and held in bondage the whole world during the dark ages, through much bloodshed and coercion. The Roman Catholic church is a purely pagan organization masquerading as a Christian church. Is it a surprise that the catholic church does not look anything like the early church described in the Bible?

You can read about the pagan practices of the Roman Catholic organization here.

I rebuke this six-point write-up filled with lies 100%.

1. The Catholic Mass is an evil ritual. It does not resemble even remotely the Holy Communion which Christ instituted, neither is it a Christian practice. They claim to re-offer Jesus Christ each time they do their masss. What blasphemy! How can Jesus be present where they blaspheme Him daily? How can Jesus stay in a place where licentious and perverted priests who molest little children still claim the power to "forgive sins"?

2. The Catholic church only came into existence when the evil spirit of Simon Magus(who sought to buy the power of the Holy Spirit with money) found its way into the early church. Satan, working through deceptions, promoted struggle for power between the early bishops. The Bishop of Rome, through unholy alliances with the pagan rulers, achieved primacy over the churches then: pagan Roman emperor actually helped to institute the papacy(the line of Roman Bishops). You can read about pope Silvester and emperor Constantine.

DoctorAlien:
To follow our ancestry back through the sons of Adam, "who was the son of God," is so much more satisfying than to search through dismal swamps for bleeping monad forebears. The human race has dropped, even in our lifetime, several degrees deeper into moral perversion and violent disorder. Humanists cite our animal ancestry as an excuse for much of this bizarre behavior. Why blame people for action dictated by their bestial genes and chromosomes? This rationalization, like a temporary insanity plea, provides license for further irresponsible conduct. The true cause for evil and the true remedy for it are found only in the Word of God. Sin has defaced the image of God in man, and only a personal encounter with the perfect Saviour will bring a reversal of the problem of evil.
Yup.

Haroun13:
Note; you don't just pick a hadith out of it's context. This command was given in a time of war, and was referring to the Pagans, who were at war with the Muslims.
Something just doesn't add up here. How can a hadith with the words "fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity..." be given at a time when muslims were under an attack from the enemy, as you claim? That hadith sounds more like "fight people until they accept Islam." When you're under attack, you fight to defend yourself, and not to make your opponent worship your god.

This, coupled with the fact that Mohammed supposedly allowed retaliation which is only proportional to the offence committed, makes it much more ridiculous that a mere victory over an enemy army would make them begin to revere allah and Mohammed and to pray.

I thought you've done the research before asking me to do? Kindly create a thread to enlighten on how they created Islam. After all when you want to preach Jesus you don't ask people to make their research.
If you won't do the research, leave it then and continue with your Jesuit-run Islam.

Okay?

What gullibility is more terrible than being a muslim? Who is more gullible? The Christian or the muslim who fights against the belief(in the resurrection of Christ) of the Catholic church which founded Islam in a bid to achieve their selfish and evil aims?

Have you ever wondered why Islam and Roman Catholicism have too many similarities?

Have you ever paused to think?
