Having said that, it would interest you to know that the level of corruption in Nigeria has made a lot of us not to be as meticulous as we ought to be on issues relating business ethics. As a result, we would easily take things for granted. If all Nigerian businesses come under proper scrutiny,including those multinationals operating here, very few will survive the morality test. Not necessarily because the guys who fail the tests are criminals but simply because we have become used to cutting corner to make things easy for ourselves. I inclusive.

The story does not add up at all.

Primarily, the boy is looking very fresh, so he doesn't seem to be under any form of enslavement. Its very possible his parents gave him to the family in Kano for a fee, who then gave him to the family in onitcha on adoption, for an amount of course. If not how did they know who the boy was with, and trace him all the way there?

I suspect there is a trade going on in the north where parents are selling off their children to some people who then distribute them to others around the country on adoption or for other purposes (but adoption is most likely).

The problems most people have with the Catholic Church on most issues are usually misconceptions arising majorly from false info fed them by their own church leaders. It will be better you ask questions next time.

The catholic church permits mixed marriages but does not encourage it. And no denomination encourages mixed marriages, and the reasons are obvious - its important you are on the same pedestal with your spouse especially on matters of faith.

There are 2 classes of catholic priests - Religious (belonging to a religious order), and Diocesans (belonging to a diocese). You will hear the priest talking about his diocesan bishop in the vidoe and wanting to emulate him. Ebube Muonso is a diocesan priest. A religious priest will be talking about the superior of his religious order.

Now diocesan priests can engage in business and own money for themselves, while religious priest can not. This arises from the vows they take before their ordination. All priests take the vow or oath of celibacy, and obedience. But the religious priests also take the vows of poverty, meaning that all they have or get belongs to their religious order.

As an example, usually when priests are ordained in Nigeria, they are given cars by their village parishes or where they grew up, or both. While the diocesan will just jump into his car and start using it, the religious will take his back to his congregation and hand it to his superior and thats it. If they believe he will need a vehicle for his specific mission, they could give him one from the car lot, most likely not the one he received as gifts. If they feel otherwise, he continues his mission without a car.

Anyone who tells you that you don't need to do anything else than believe in the gospel to make heaven is not telling you the truth. It is a lie from the put of hell that fits perfectly into the desires of the flesh, while claiming eternal salvation.

I won't even bother going to scripture to pursue arguments because scriptures to counter that will show up as well. It doesn't mean the Bible contradicts itself, it is just that the the books of the Bible was written by different people in different circumstances, and for different purposes all leading to the same thing which is leading a good, holy, righteous, and godly life through Christ.
