I want to share 2 supernatural experiences i have had over the years so I have decided to tag some of you. I have no reason to lie. It is the most stupid thing to try to come in the defense of God or any religion. God should defend and prove himself to people if he wishes. But it would also be silly for me not to talk about the experiences i have had through prayers. No1. Sometime in 2010, i had a brand new (tear rubber nissan car used for about 13 months at that time). I was driving to work at about 5.30 am being a banker then and working on the island. My vehicle was stolen at gunpoint within a small traffic somewhere in Alaka, Surulere. I reported to the police at Bode Thomas Surulere as required and went home mourning grievously, because the comprehensive insurance had just expired and i was procrastinating the renewal. I went into deep prayers with my brethren in the church and declared that vehicle unsaleable by the thieves. A week later, i was having a nap in my sitting room. I had a dream where i went the police station to ask for an update on the vehicle. The police man in the dream asked for the details of the vehicle which i gave him. He said to me "aaahh, we found a vehicle that fits your description but not exactly, there are some differences. However come and check". I am quoting exactly because it has remained with me since then. We went to the parking lot, and behold it was my car. I woke up. I Prayed about it when i woke up and claimed that revelation through prayers, and went about my business. A week later, that's 2 weeks after the loss of the vehicle, a Saturday to be precise, I decided to go to the police to find out the situation. I went to Odudua in GRA ikeja, which is were the central control room in Lagos is domiciled. I met the officer in charge of recovered vehicles and gave him details of my vehicle, He said to me " We recovered a vehicle that fits your description but the color you mentioned is different, the one we recovered is custom color, however come and check our register". It had to be the register because Odudua is the control room so reports of all vehicles recovered across lagos are entered there though the vehicles are in the police stations of the officers that recover the vehicle. I checked the register and it was my vehicle. I went to the police station were its being kept somewhere in Ojo, and i saw it with my 2 eyes. Praise The Lord. Usually, the vehicle is supposed to be sent to the station were you made the report, but the Lord had to show me all the more that his hand was upon it. The DPO, ( i have never met a police man like him in my life) told me sign off on a few documents, take a passport and give to them, with a photocopy of my I.D and "find something" for the boys that recovered the vehicle. I asked about reporting to Bode Thomas. He told be not to bother about it, that he will communicate with them himself. I left the police station with my car that same day, in less than 2 hours. Was the dream a miraculous revelation or a figment of my imagination? No. 2. I am a Catholic (Born, Raised and Remains). The Catholic Church teaches that the Holy Communion we receive actually becomes the Flesh and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ after the prayers of consecration are said, though it remains in the appearance of bread and wine. I have always battled with this teaching because it seems not to make any sense. When you receive the communion, the taste is the taste of unleavened bread and wine. So it was a tough one to accpept. However, because of my earnest desire to experience God in every way possible, when ever i receive the communion, i ask Jesus to confirm that teaching of the Catholic Church on the Eucharist (Communion). What was i expecting Jesus to do? i don't know. When was i expecting an answer from the Lord? No idea. But i kept saying that prayer whenever i received communion which is almost on daily basis, and it became routine. On the 9th of October 2013, I had just attended morning Mass and was completing my morning devotion in the sanctuary of the Church. While praying, i realized that i still had some of the communion in my mouth based on the taste. Not an unusual thing at all. The response ordinarily would be to swallow, but out of nowhere i heard a voice within me say "Bring it out and see". I was struck with fear at that moment because i realized what was about to happen. I fearfully put my hand in my mouth, lay hold on the communion with a finger and slowly pulled out my finger. I SAW PURE FLESH COVERED WITH BLOOD.. I cant explain what i did later. You decide if they are miracles or not. As for me, I know what i experienced. As our people say " it is only a woman that can tell who got her pregnant". Have i been healed of a disease? I am not aware of any. In-fact i have someone very close to me, as a matter of fact 2 people who prayed for healing from terminal diseases, they died of the diseases. I have been in crusades were the crippled and sick come hoping for healing and miracles. They went home crippled and sick. Some died afterwards. But have people experienced miracles of healing, lame walking etc? Many have. Some i know. Is it common? Very uncommon. So uncommon that i complain to God about it. But simply because you have not experienced any, or you choose to disbelieve the existence of the Christian God doesn't mean He isn't. One very thing about God, is that you don't get to experience him one on one until you believe that he exists and rewards those who trust in him. HembaqMbk . joviegghead . doitforyou:Christian marriage is necessary for Christians. It gives a stronger sense of bonding, and reduces divorce. The catholic church takes you through months of what is called a marriage course, educating you on diverse issues relating to marriage before you get into it. Why? because of divorce. So if you know you can't handle issues that may arise, you don't go in there. Once in you can't get out because God hates divorce. When you must have been well groomed on issues of the married life, it should dawn on you that its not an easy ride, and that its gonna take the grace of God to see you through till death do you part. That is why it's raised to the level of a sacrament. Whereby the church prays for special graces to enable you pull through, and eventually obtain salvation. All you need for a Christian/ Catholic marriage is your marriage course certificate which costs nothing, a date for the marriage, your parents, and sponsors. That's all. Wedding party is your choice. To get married in the Catholic church costs less than 10k. Now anybody who says a Christian should not go through this process, but should just obtain parental consent and start living like husband and wife needs help. |
Xavfra:Is it Christianity that is stopping Africa from rising? If anything, Christianity brought light to africa. Most of our forebearers were exposed to schools brought to us by the missionaries. Same as hospitals. My father was educated because of the missionaries. Christianity still holds a central place in most European and american nations till date. America as a nation was built on strong christian ethics. Till this day their dollar carries "in God we trust". The Arabs are doing great today. They are more religious than afticans by a mile. Is their any African nation more religious than Saudi Arabia? Is their any African nation as developed as Saudi Arabia? Please, Africa's problem is not Christianity or religion. It is Africans. If Christianity had not come to Africa, we would still be killing ourselves in sacrifice to worthless deities. If you don't like religion or Christianity, fine. But don't ever say that religion is the bane of Africa. |
ogbonti:Can u imagine. I even think say the man get levels. The man sti dey London con dey make noise? Well sha, dem fit help am with like 50m. |
Nadaken:My brother leave matter. In Nigeria, winning an incumbent governor who has federal backing is extremely difficult, especially when it is an isolated election. This man had very little chance of becoming governor if things were smooth BTW Oshiomole and obaseki. Even obaseki as the PDP flagbearer has less than 50% chance of winning this election. Remember its not about votes but about rigging. Does the man have the money that can help him rig? Make the guy cash out abeg. At least between now and Monday he can become a naira billionaire. |
Dansuqi:Saraki failed because kwara people generally wanted freedom from their dynasty. Between Oshoimole and obaseki, I do not know which one of them enjoys more support from the people. |
Sannisege:Well, we all know its gonna be rigging all the way. However, there is some fulfilment in defeat when you see your enemy nursing some injuries. Very much unlike when your enemy beats u up badly and goes away unscathed. Oshoimole will not sleep until the elections are over. At least im go sabi say na im fellow man e drag something with. |
Mires:Certainly. Settlement figures will be in billions. Beyond the money though, portfolio sharing would be the major issue. |
Oshiomole is willing to give his life in exchange to ensure obaseki fails. Obaseki has to thread circumspectly. |
Who is this one loyal to? As for obaseki, his best option is to port to PDP immediately while funding court cases left right and center for infighting in APC. That will ensure sufficient confusion in the Edo APC creating a serene atmosphere for him to get a second term. A return to APC will be too dicey. Oshiomole is an old fox, and can still cause havoc even as an ousted chairman. |
Luckydubby7:I hope he is wise enough. |
A south African is even the richest African by a mile. Last time I checked, Elon Musk has never denied being south African. I always wonder why he is not called the richest african. |
Any hope for Nigeria? |
hopevalley:No offence, but does she have a job or a business enterprise? Because God blesses the works of our hands. |
anibi9674:This your question has haunted me for years because this can very well be one reason why God may never permit the total balkanization of this country. If the Christian south secede, then Christianity in the north may cease to exist in a few decades |
XXLMANDIGO:And then some people here will call them racists. |
XXLMANDIGO captainblaze:That's not the point. The point is that this racism issue is just over hyped especially in America. Everyone should try to be the best they can. If you distinguish yourself, you will thrive regardless of the circumstances that surrounds you which includes racism. For goodness sake, a black man a Kenyan for that matter became president of America. Why didn't racism stop him from being president? Wasnt it whites that voted him in against other whites? What every human being wants is to do well in life. And every black American that has distinguished himself has thrived in their chosen practice, racism or no racism. If you are denied a college degree, a job in a government establishment, infrastructure in your region or neighbourhood because you are black, then you can screen racism. But that's not the case in America. The problem is failed humanity. Humans harbour hate and if hate is nurtured it will manifest for strange reasons: ones height, colour of eyes, religion, skin colour, gender etc. So demonstrate from now till tmrw, some people will remain racist. Shout from now till tmrw, some people will remain terrorists, rapist, paedophiles etc. Hatred will continue for as long as differences remain amongst humans, and that's forever. Only those who are genuinely (note genuinely)guided by God's Holy Spirit, put their hate sensors in check and treat all humans equal. |
XXLMANDIGO:Apt. |
ednut1:To be candid o, I watched an interview where Majek said he never did drugs. Just sad for the guy, raw talent. |
safarigirl:Yes our wahala here is sufficient to make one care less about what happens in other countries, but USA is different because of their overwhelming influence in world affairs. I have a pro-life and conservative ideology, as a result, I dont want to see the leftists thrive. If they thrive in USA, they will thrive everywhere else, especially in Africa because we no get money, and na who get money we dey follow. The leftists are willing to spend huge funds to pursue their agenda world over. I am worried about that. How would you feel if tmrw your children are being taught that they get to decide if they want to be Male or female, marry a man or woman, abort a pregnancy at 8months etc? If the leftists are left to be in charge of America, things like that will start happening here sooner than you think. |
Rubbish. The democrats want trump out by all means, using every ally and situation available. Yet they are the most wicked and heartless set of politicians. The world would be better off without them. tianshie:I'm not interested in migrating to America. If I where, I would have been there long ago. I'm not a young youth searching for greener pastures. I'm more interested on their influence in world affairs because it ends up affecting me where I am. And not only me but my children and generations yet unborn because USA is the most influential country in the world and would remain that way for generations to come. From all you have said, all I can discipher is that your god is your stomach. It's all about who makes you feel good at the present, even if they have to ruin your life in future. The dems have messed up so many peoples lives with their liberal views, practically turned the world upside down with their satanic leftists agenda, spearheading the killing of millions of unborn children since Roe v. Wade, encouraging the lgbt movements, ruining the family system, killed Gaddafi (did you see how Hillary laughed when that man was killed), ruined Libya, helped Buhari get into power and many other despicable things I have no time to start typing. I'm not your typical tribalist or sentimental nairalander who supports trump maybe because he doesn't like Buhari. Since I attained a certain level of enlightenment, I have always preferred the Republicans to the Democrats. I cried when Obama became president because he was and still is one of the most morally bankrupt leaders forming nice guy. Bullshit! I rejoiced when hilary lost and I am praying quid pro joe Biden is disgraced at the polls. For you it's about migration, feel good etc, for me its ideology, sanity, family life, and the future of our societies. Time will vindicate the conservatives. |
Rediff1:So far, no one has proven that the herb is not effective. Why you come dey call am sakamaje? |
SeverusSnape:Maybe he could smell the hypocrisy from a mile. |
Southern Cameroon finally have their own country. |
TheGoodJoe:Good Joe you are great. This song has lifted my spirit in many many occasions. Majek |

Naptu, you have finished me this morning with these songs. This genesis is one hello of a song May the Good Lord forgive his sins and accept his soul. |

My Majek. Ah I'm sad. |
Mightyhaiz:Nigeria na 1 and half. |
meemee:You need to understand that behind every law made by God, there is a spirit. In simple terms when God gives a law, he has an intention, something he wishes to achieve in human conduct which will ultimately be for the good of mankind. Coming to your analogy on alcohol, it would interest you to note that none of the denominations that see alcohol consumption as sinful finds anything wrong with using it as a hand sanitizer. So its forbidden in one circumstance and permitted in another. Why? The spirit behind their law of non consumption. Again cocaine consumption is forbidden by state and faith organisations alike. But cocaine is an anesthetic which is used (consumed) in certain medical conditions. Once again forbidden in one circumstance permitted in another. Why? The spirit behind the law. When you come to terms with this concept, it wouldn't be difficult for you to understand why this JW teaching is senseless. |
Davash222:You just took it out of my mouth. And to be honest, he was a glorified thug of chimaroke, doing dirty jobs for him including maiming people. Today he is forming polished lawmaker. |
jeff1993:I just can't understand those guys. The worst part is that the bible passage (acts 15:20) from which they derived that satanic doctrine has absolutely nothing to do with blood transfusion which is an intravenous procedure, but eating, drinking or perhaps sprinkling of blood which are practices associated with idol worship of the gentiles in those days. |
