I think we are missing the point here. If osaze scored 9 goals in 10 years, what about kanu dat scored 10 goals in 17 years?
FYI, how many matches was osaze been used as a striker for the super eagles? So how do you expect a fringe player to score goals.

Moreso, since kanu and okocha retired from the national team, can we mention any other nigerian footballer that is better and more committed than Osaze? Can't we just reason on what osaze was talking about concerning NFF and its useless corruptions? I tot Emenike got injured while playing for Nigeria, who foot his treatment bill?

The most useless player that has ever play for nigeria is aiyegbeni. He made life difficult for fans and the country through her laicadasical attitudes and nobody crucify him for dat. Mikel has done far worse things to our sensibilities, yet, he manage his way to the super eagles. Is dat not sub standard of disciplinarian actions?

bonna4u: I don't blame you for calling others hypocrites because it is obvious you don't don't understand one of the simple laws of nature. Change is the only thing that is constant. Osaze changed recently, thus, his fans also changed their perspective of him. How do you explain someone sitting at the stair case of QPR waiting for a medical when his club hasn't transferred him until it dawned on him that it is some minutes pass 12mid night on 1st February. This guy has become a trouble maker and I pray he repents and reverses to the old Osaze we all used to love.
Is like u dnt understand what transpired between osaze, NFF and keshi. Two weeks before the Nations cup, osaze has bid his coach, his teammates and other people at west brom goodbye dat he's going to represent his country. Infact, he granted an interview with BBC where he stated clearly that he love Nigeria and he's glad that he would be representing Nigeria at d tournament.

Before you know it, osaze who has been a regular starter for nigeria, wasn't listed in the final list to play the nations cup neither was he called by mobile phone as to explain the reasons why he wouldn't be taken along. Infact, he heard his omission from the internet. If you were the player, wouldn't you have curse Keshi and NFF?
Moreso, he made us to believe that there is massive corruption going on in the NFF cos the kits and the equipment they use to train are substandard. Infact, he made us to realise that at times, he use to pay for his ticket back to his club. He also said the jersey they always use for training have always been used ones. This is the man who took the goon by the horn when the useless Joseph Yobo couldn't speak on behalf of the team.
How many matches does Mikel obi played for Nigeria during the african cup qualifiers, yet, he was taken along. Infact, to the best of my knowledge, lagerbark who took us to the world cup was the most useless coach I've seen. He benched the likes of osaze for no reason and dats why we left without making an impact. To me, osaze should be offered an apology for disgracing him publicly when he has made up his mind to play for nigeria and his hope was dashed
Sports › Re: Odemwingie Still Wants To Play For Nigeria by dolphinife: 10:09am On Jun 19, 2013
Honestly, nigerians are hypocrites. Is it not this same osaze that Nigerians so loved that he was given the best nigerian player twice I guess? Is it not the same player that was the highest goal scorer for West-brom and the only player to score hat-trick for the club in the english premier league?
Is it not this same player that if he's not featuring in any Nigerian matches, we always felt dejected cos we value his contributions.
Some useless folks have started telling us that he only scored 9 goals in 10 years. In those periods, was he ever used as a striker? He was always deployed as a winger. The likes of Martins, uche, aiyegbeni, okpala, and the likes were the major baine to osaze's goals tally in the super eagles.
because the man air his opinion abt NFF which other players could not do, he was being seen as the scapegoat. What about Mikel Obi who intermittently refused to play for Nigeria. What about JJ okocha who always select the team he wanna play against. Atleast, we were privy to what tevez, balotelli and some other i-dnt-care players does and heaven didn't fall.
Stephen keshi has done worse things when he was playing for us but nobody criticise him. For the record time, we should mention any Nigerian striker presently that is very much better than osaze
Travel › Re: Stunning Photos Taken From Plane’s Cockpit by dolphinife: 9:23am On Jun 19, 2013
We shouldn't be ridiculous. Every cockpit has the same functions with different variations. All the modern aeroplanes are embedded with auto-pilot. This auto pilot was created to so dat flight engineers wouldn't be needed again in our cockpit.
The only aeroplane that still flies with flight engineer on-board is boieng 747-200, 400, 500,600 and 800 series. That means u have 3 people controlling the aircraft I.e the captain, the first officer and the flieght engineer.
The reason why most aeroplanes operated in Nigeria doesn't allow passengers to switch-on their phones is because the network will affect the Air Traffic Control(ATC) signal between the pilots and the control tower which will definitely cause an accident. However, most of the bigger aeroplanes are embedded with internet facilities, GSM networks, etc. because the configuration of these bigger aeroplanes allow passengers to make use of their GSM gadgets.
Nevertheless, Nigerian aeroplanes also parades one of the finest cockpit because the models and configurations of these cockpits cut across every aeroplanes in the world.
Lastly, I want to direct this message to the MOD and SEUN OSEWA, I would love to implore these people to create AVIATION SECTION on Nairaland where ideas bothering on airports and aviation in general can be discussed.
Sports › Re: Odemwingie Still Wants To Play For Nigeria by dolphinife: 7:43am On Jun 19, 2013
Reading all the comments above, it is very clear that some of us have a short memory. Osaze raised pertinent questions which also raise it ugly head between NFF and super eagles last week. The man(osaze) was brought up in a liberal environment where injustice was seen as a bane to growth.

Through these irresponsible comments, nobody has look at the issues raised by osaze, what he kick against and some other social anomalies. Look at what NFF did to Emenike. When all the punishments and embargos were being placed on Osaze, even joseph yobo was so happy that his enemy has been put to shame. The same fate befell Yobo after the nations cup, and he's crying more than the bereave now.
Osaze stand for justice, equity and progress. Instead of criticising osaze, we should condemn the divide and rule actions of these NFF who are head-bent on appropriating all the money meant for the players to themselves.

femmyb: Arik flies to NewYork which is a longer distance than Brazil, so wats ur point.
Of cos, arik has a long-range aircraft that can fly direct to Brazil non-stop but there is no direct flight between Nigerian airspace to Brazil.
The route has to be from Nigeria to joburg, and frm there direct to Brazil. Or from Los to JKF and frm there direct to Brazil.
That you have an aircraft that can fly long-haul flights doesn't mean you can fly to any country without bilateral air agreement with that country. The agreement between Nigeria and Brazil to have a direct flight has been revoked as a result of the natural death of Nigeria Airways

I’m a happily married woman with two lovely boys in my early thirties. My husband and I are recently planning to have another child and this time,we want to try the Pre-sex selection method and see if we can skew the odds to our advantage and get a baby girl. Not that we would mind if it wasn’t a girl but we want to have our last child and try our luck in the process.
The way it works is since I need to monitor my cycle for a couple of months,I’m not on any contraceptive and we’ve agreed to use condoms during intercourse. The only issue is that my husband sometimes forgets to buy them before coming home and then we’ve ended up making love without condoms twice now.
My question is “Is it right for a married woman to publicly buy condoms?” Because I’m seriously considering doing that to avoid conceiving before the planned date.

1. Tinubu is a Yoruba father with an 11 years old son.

2. Amaechi is an Igbo father with an 11 years old son.

3. Buhari is an Hausa/Fulani also with an 11 years old son.

These three boys all sat for the same Common Entrance Examination into Federal Unity School, to start their Secondary School Education.

The school only has one available space remaining to admit only one of them.

Mr. Tinubu's son is expected to score 133 marks to get admitted into the school. Mr. Amaechi's son is expected to score 139 to get the same opportunity. Mr. Buhari's son needs to score just 2 marks to be admitted.

Mr. Tinubu's and Mr Amaechi's sons both scored 133 and 139 respectively. Mr Buhari's scored 10 for the same exams and was adjudged the best of the three and got admitted.

Mr. Tinubu's son turns to "Agebro" and that of Mr. Amaechi became kidnapper for lack of admission to pursue further education. In the long run, Mr. Buhari's son, Salisu Buhari, became the Speaker of the House of Assembly....

This is how we roll in Nigeria unitary system. The Hausa/Fulani have used the 50 years they held the political power of Nigeria handed down to them by the British colonial thugs to changed our political system from true and fiscal federalism to unitary system.

Those who have suffered from this system have been badly educated and can't even figure out how to free their children from this horror. They are today begging the Gambari to return to power and finish them off as against demanding for fiscal federalism or outright division of Nigeria.

Those of us with the knowledge of reality would never allow a return of the Gambari.

Some people are just bunch of illiterates who delve into what does not concerns them. What concerns a passenger of a bus if the driver has paid the necessary charges to the car park?
What concerns any passenger if the airline has paid the necessary fees to the concerned authorities?
In as much the passenger has paid his bill for the ticket as required of him, what else do u want the passenger to do?
In this case, am very sure oshiomole would be a novice on what is expected of the pilot and the helicopter, moreso, oshiomole can never knw anything about flight manifest, or the route flight plan, nor the fees to be paid. We were told that when oshiomole learnt that the pilot was told to go back and he wanna refuse, oshiomole prevailed on him to go back so as to sort himself out. Oshiomole waited for hours inside the helicopter and nothing was done.
In this instance, who is at fault? Is it the pilot or the governor or NAMA or maybe FG is witch-hunting for no just reasons?
Oshiomole is at no fault here and nobody should point accusing fingers at him cos he has discharge his duties to the fullest
Career › American Bank Offers $1M To Anyone Able To Solve This Mathematical Equation by dolphinife(op): 5:46pm On Jun 07, 2013
A Texas banker is upping the ante to $1 million for whoever solves a tricky problem that’s been dogging mathematicians since the 1980s.

The Providence, Rhode Island-based American Mathematical Society (AMS) on Tuesday said $1 million will be awarded for the publication of a solution to the Beal Conjecture number theory problem.

Dallas banker D. Andrew Beal first offered the Beal Prize in 1997 for $5,000. Over the years, the amount has grown.

AMS spokesman Michael Breen says a solution is more difficult than the one for a related problem – Fermat’s Last Theorem – which didn’t have a published solution for hundreds of years.

Mr Beal is a self-taught mathematician and founder of the Beal Prize. He says he wants to inspire young people to pursue math and science.

An AMS-appointed committee will award this prize for either a proof of, or a counterexample to, the Beal Conjecture, published in a refereed and respected mathematics publication.
The prize money is being held in trust by the AMS until it is awarded.

Income from the prize fund is used to support the annual Erdős Memorial Lecture and other activities of the Society.

According to the AMS website, the $1million prize will be awarded to anyone who can solve and fulfill the following:

Quote
If Ax + By = Cz , where A, B, C, x, y and z are positive integers and x, y and z are all greater than 2, then A, B and C must have a common prime factor.

The administration of the Beal Prize is overseen by a Beal Prize Committee (BPC) to be appointed by the President of the AMS.

The formal charge of the BPC and the ‘Procedures for Determination of an Award of the Beal Prize’ are subject to the review and approval by the Council of the AMS.

The Beal Prize Fund is held as a restricted asset of the American Mathematical Society (AMS), with US$1,000,000 to be awarded if, in the judgment of the BPC, the conjecture is proved or a counterexample is presented.

A proposed solution of the Beal Prize Problem may not be submitted directly to the AMS, or to the Beal Prize Committee, or to Mr Beal. Unpublished manuscripts will not be considered.

The BPC will consider a proposed solution if it is a complete mathematical solution of the Beal Prize Problem. Before consideration, a proposed solution (the ‘Work’) must be published in a refereed mathematics publication which is respected and, in the opinion of the BPC, maintains the highest editorial standards (or published in another form as the BPC decides may qualify).

In the case of a counterexample, the proposed solution will be subject to independent verification. Upon publication, the author(s) of the Work should notify the AMS and the BPC.

The Work must be widely accepted by the mathematics community following a two-year waiting period after publication.

In the case of a counterexample, that recognition and acceptance by the community may happen much sooner.

Following the waiting period, the BPC will decide whether the Work merits detailed evaluation.
If the Work is to receive detailed evaluation, the BPC and the AMS will identify at least two experts who can verify the correctness of the Work and who are not members of the BPC to assist in the evaluation.

Upon completion of the evaluation, if the BPC can make a clear decision, it may award the prize and determine attribution of credit for a solution.

Let me tell you this: We own lagos. We non-indigenes. We make Lagos tick. Without us, Lagos would be just like Ibadan or Ife or Ogbomosho or Ijebu Ode.

The Airlines: We own them.- Arik and Aero. Edo & Delta. Ibru and Aruremi.
The TV stations: We own them. Channels, AIT, Silverbird...you name it.
The Hotels: We own them. Federal Palace, Sheraton, Four Points, the new Marriot, and a whole lot others.
