Jokes EtcThe Jews And Juice by dolphinife(op): 2:35pm On May 21, 2013
Sid and Al were sitting in a Chinese restaurant. 'Sid,'
asked Al, 'are there any Jews in China?'

'I don't know,' Sid replied. 'Why don't we ask the waiter?'

When the waiter came by, Al asked him, 'Are there any
Chinese Jews?'

'I don't know sir, let me ask,' the waiter replied, and he
went into the kitchen. He returned in a few minutes
and said, 'No, sir. No, Chinese Jews.'

'Are you sure?' Al asked.

'I will check again, sir,' the waiter replied and went back
to the kitchen. While he was still gone, Sid said, 'I
cannot believe there are no Jews in China. Our people
are scattered everywhere.'

When the waiter returned he said, 'Sir, no Chinese Jews.'

'Are you really sure?' Al asked again. 'I cannot believe
there are no Chinese Jews.'

'Sir, I ask everyone,' the waiter replied exasperated. 'We
have Orange Jews, Prune Jews, Tomato Jews and
Grape Jews, but we have no Chinese Jews.'

Christianity EtcWhat Are The Reasons For Using Ilorin-yoruba Dialect To Preach In Islam? by dolphinife(op): 8:05pm On May 16, 2013
In as much I dnt want to offend the sensibilities of my muslim brothers, I would want them equally to satisfy my curiosity. I have asked this same questions severally and I haven't got the right answer to it. So I wouldn't mind if some matured muslim brothers can help me out.
I have observed that whenever the yoruba muslims are preaching(waasi), they always use this Ilorin-Yoruba dialect, irrespective of the speaker, whether ijebu, ilesha, ondo, just name it. Though the Ilorin-yoruba dialect is always sweet to hear, but at the same time, I want to know why they dnt use any other language or dialect to preach.

I hope they wouldn't ban this oooo
Jokes EtcAkpors And Ekaette by dolphinife(op): 5:11pm On May 16, 2013
Akpors and Ekaitte got married. Akpors was
a well-known man.. So to speak! but Ekaitte
was very naive and uninformed about the
birds and the bees. Akpors was a poor
working man and could not afford to take
time off for a honeymoon. So, that night they
retired to his little shack. When Akpors was
undressing, Ekaitte said, "Oh Akpors, what is
that?"
Akpors being very quick in thinking said, "Eki
baby, I am the only man In the world with
one of these."And, then, he proceeded to
show her what it was for, and Ekaitte was
happy. The next morning Akpors went off to
work as usual. When he returned home that
evening, Ekaitte was on the front pouch
obviously upset about something. "Akpors,
you told me that you were the only man in
the world with one of those, and I saw Eazy
the gardener changing his clothes behind the
shed, and he had one too." Thinking
fast, Akpors said, "Oh, Eki baby, Eazy is my
good friend. I had two of them so I gave him
one. He is the only other man in the world
with one of those." Ekaitte, not being
knowledgeable about these things, accepted
his answer, and they did their thing again
that night. Akpors went off to work again the
next morning and when he returned home,
Ekaitte was very upset, stamping her foot on
the pouch. Akpors said, "Eki baby, what is the
matter this time?" "Akpors, you gave Eazy the
better one!!!"
Akpors fainted "lobatan"
CelebritiesShe Sleeps Around, I Want DNA Test For Daughter - Laide Bakare's Hubby Speaks by dolphinife(op): 5:01pm On May 16, 2013
Your wife, laide released a statement that she dumped you for another businessman, Mr. Tunde Oriowo because she realised that you were legally married to another wife who had given you two children, not actually single as you told her when the relationship started?

How could I have married two women legally in Nigeria? I should be in Jail by now because there is a law that condemns such an act. How come she has not gone to court instead of media for seperation? Seperation can only come through the court.

American government gave Laide Green card because she is legally married to me, we had a court marriage in Nigeria also. When she was supposed to be a faithful wife, she would leave her matrimonial home to stay with married men in Lagos, all in the name of being actress or career lady. I couldn't monitor her because i am not always in Nigeria. In fact, there was a time she left our baby, Similoluwa with me for eight months in America in the name of career lady, i had become a nursing father. I have been trying to manage my home the way i could.

Are you Insinuating she cheated on you?

Yes, Of course! She did both in the past and now, all in the name of being career woman.

If she is cheating on you both in the past and now, can you be sure of your child's paternity?

I have made up my mind that my doctor should begin the process of DNA of our daughter to know who is the father, whether Mr. Tunde Oriowo or myself. As we speak, she brought Similoluwa back to Nigeria illegally and as we speak, the child is under her mother's care.
PoliticsBank Robbery Management Lesson: The Facts About Life by dolphinife(op): 4:31pm On May 14, 2013
There was this robbery, the two robbers walked into the bank and one shouted to everyone: "All don't move stay where you are and lie down flat, money belongs to the state, life belongs to you". Everyone in the bank laid down quietly. ... This is called "Mind Changing Concept --> Changing the conventional way of thinking". ------------------------------------------------- One lady lay on the table provocatively, the robber shouted at her "Please be civilised! This is a robbery and not a rape!" This is called "Being Professional --> Focus only on what you are trained to do!" ------------------------------------------------- When the robbers got back, the younger robber (MBA trained) told the older robber (who only had primary school cert.), "Big bro, let's count how much we got", the older robber rebutted and said, "You are very stupid, how do we count so much money? Don't worry, the news on TV tonight will tell us how much we robbed from the bank!" This is called "Experience --> nowadays experience is more important than paper qualifications!" ------------------------------------------------- After the robbers left, the bank manager told the bank supervisor to call the police quickly. The supervisor says "Wait, wait wait, let's put the $5 million we embezzled into the amount the robbers robbed". This is called "Swim with the tide --> converting an unfavorable situation to your advantage!" ------------------------------------------------- The supervisor says "It will be good if there is a robbery every month". This is called "Killing Boredom --> Happiness is most important." ------------------------------------------------- That night, TV news reported that $40 million was taken from the bank. The robbers counted and counted and counted, but they could only count $20 million. The robbers were very angry and complained "We risked our lives and only took $20 million, the bank manager took $20 million with a snap of his fingers. It looks like it is better to be educated than to be a thief!" This is called "Knowledge is worth as much as gold !" ------------------------------------------------- The bank manager was smiling and happy because his $15 million loss in the JP Morgan shares are now covered by this robbery. This is called "Seizing the opportunity --> daring to take risks!"

PoliticsBREAKING NEWS: Lagos Ban Tri-cycle Operators(keke NAPEP) From Major Roads by dolphinife(op): 9:06pm On May 11, 2013
Lagos State government Friday banned the activities of Tri-cycle popularly called Keke Napep from the major roads in the state, saying, “it is meant to protect the lives and property of the residents of the state.”

Some of the roads tri-cycles operation was outlawed were: the entire Victoria Island, Government Residential Area, GRA Ikeja and Ikoyi. Also on Awolowo road and Awolowo way, Alausa and entire major roads in Surulere Local Government.

Opeifa warned that tri-cycling isn’t a replacement for motorcycle popularly called Okada in the state, adding “it isn’t a sustainable means of transport for the state especially Lagos that is a megacity.”

According to him, “I learnt that some Okada riders have began to sell their motorcycle to by tricycle but they can no longer operate on these major roads again.”

It will be recalled that Fashola signed the road traffic bill into law last year, aimed at improving safety on the Lagos roads.

“After that law was gazetted, the state government allowed tri-cycle to operate on some of these roads because vehicles available in those roads weren’t enough to convey the passengers plying the road,” he said.

Opeifa stated that today, the state has enough Bus Rapid Transport, BRT and LAGBUS buses, taxis and others are now available on these roads and the tricycle wouldn’t be needed.

some people just love to be mischevious. If Lagos is the worst third city to live , how do you reconcile that with the number of people trooping to Lagos on per second billings?
Lagos is a cosmopolitan place where every tribe on earth is ably represented. It therefore baffles me fore one NEW YORKER or a LONDONER to be dispelling false information like this
as far as i know, Lagos is the most safest city to live in in Africa, compared to south african cities with high crime rate, mexico cities of drug pushing and kidnapping, and host of other cities which i might not listed here.
and for our information, if Lagos state is not safe or healthy for some people to live in, why cnt those people enter their cars, with their families and their business, and walk back, crawl or drive back to their God-forsaken villageshuh

PoliticsSSS Parades Suspect Hired By Governor Akpabio To ‘kill’ Senator Etok by dolphinife(op): 2:31pm On May 08, 2013
The State Security Service (SSS) today paraded a suspect, ex-militant Adelola Tamunotonye Olaore, alias "General Africa" over a plot to assassinate and extort money from Senator Aloysius Etok in Abuja.

Senator Etok is the man that Governor Goodswill Akpabio openly admitted having rigged into office, although the Senator has said his election was transparent.

But Senator Etok also occupies the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial Seat, the same seat that the governor covets in 2015 when he cannot run for a third term, giving the impression it is merely being held in trust for him.

The suspect, who was born in Port Harcourt, hails from Okeho in Kajola Local Government of Oyo State. He confessed to having been contracted by three of Governor Akpabio’s loyalists to assassinate Senator Etok. In order to convince the Senator [he was not lying] he offered to furnish him with details of the Governor’s purported Bank Account and Energy Company in South Africa.

Adelola said that he wanted to broker peace between Governor Akpabio and Senator Etok, having followed the political wrangling between the duo over the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial Seat.

He confessed to having used the political rift to extort money but he was apprehended by the security operatives.

That development following a directive from the SSS to the Senator who had written a letter to the service titled “REPORT OF THE PLANNED ASSASINATION BY A MAN WHO CALLS HIMSELF GENERAL AFRICA (AN-EX MILLITANT)”

The Senator was asked to play along with the suspect, leading to his arrest on April 29.
Governor Akpabio, a personal friend of President Goodluck Jonathan, has made it plain he will represent the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District in the Senate in 2015, an ambition that has the entire Peoples Democratic Party machinery in the state behind him, including a faction of the legislature which recently adopted a resolution warning Senator Etok they will only support Akpabio’s Senatorial candidature in the forthcoming election.

Speaking recently in an interview about the political manipulations in Akwa Ibom State, the Senator said, “That is what happened during my second term struggle that as soon as they knew I was going to contest, my wife was kidnapped. After the release of my wife, my mother in law was kidnapped.

“When she was released, she died because of the torture she received in the hands of the kidnappers. As a result of that my father in law died out the heart break. Therefore, I also want Nigerians to ask Governor Akpabio what I have done to him. I have not done anything to him. I want all of you, like I am going to send a petition to the President, to ask Governor Akpabio to let me be. That his hit squad which he has resurrected should let me live. If anything happens to me, I want the world to know that Governor Akpabio is after my life.”

What is holding all these motherfucker billionaires to buy one Nigerian clubs so that the league can be competitive.
If Dangote can be so interested as to the extent of showing significant interest in buying ArsenaL FC, i dnt knw why he can't do the same for the local league despite being the richest blackman.
Though, GLO is trying, but they ARE not getting their priorities right. Most of these local league players always look like a kwashiokor-infested human beings with so many piled-up suffering manifesting on their faces every weekend. TravelMust We Make Phone Calls Whenever We Are Travelling? by dolphinife(op): 4:29pm On May 06, 2013
I have always wanted to know why we have so many hypocrites in this country. in the course of my travellings within this country, i have observed that we love flamboyancy.
Most Nigerians, whenever they are travelling, and they got to the car park, they will never receive or make any calls. But immediately the car is filled and they are about embarking on the journey, that's when you start seeing passengers scampering for their phones in their bags and wallets. some people can talk on phones from Lagos to Maiduguri, from Kano to Calabar.
In my guess, i have always conclude that these monstrous phone calls are fake and can never be real. Nigerians always wanted to show themselves and that is why they will always shout on top of their voices when making calls so that people can listen to them.
The question i wanna ask is this.....WHY DO WE LOVE TO BE HYPOCRITE IN THIS COUNTRY?

As an addendum, this was attributed to MKO ABIOLA:
"Moshood Abiola sprang to national and international prominence as a result of his philanthropic activities. The Congressional Black Caucus of the United States of America issued the following tribute to Moshood Abiola:[6]
Because of this man, there is both cause for hope and certainty that the agony and protests of those who suffer injustice shall give way to peace and human dignity. The children of the world shall know the great work of this extraordinary leader and his fervenmission to right wrong, to do justice, and to serve mankind. The enemies which imperil the future of generations to come: poverty, ignorance, disease, hunger, and racism have each seen effects of the valiant work of Chief Abiola. Through him and others like him, never again will freedom rest in the domain of the few. We, the members of the Congressional Black Caucus salute him this day as a hero in the global pursuit to preserve the history and the legacy of the African diaspora.
From 1972 until his death Moshood Abiola had been conferred with 197 traditional titles by 68 different communities in Nigeria, in response to the fact that his financial assistance resulted in the construction of 63 secondary schools, 121 mosques and churches, 41 libraries, 21 water projects in 24 states of Nigeria, and was grand patron to 149 societies or associations in Nigeria. In this way Abiola reached out and won admiration across the multifarious ethnic and religious divides in Nigeria. In addition to his work in Nigeria, Moshood Abiola was a dedicated supporter of the Southern African Liberation movements from the 1970s and he sponsored the campaign to win reparations for slavery and colonialism in Africa and the diaspora. Chief Abiola, personally rallied every African head of state, and every head of state in the black diaspora to ensure that Africans would speak with one voice on the issues.
Moshood Abiola was twice voted international businessman of the year[citation needed], and received numerous honorary doctorates from universities all over the world. In 1987 he was bestowed with the golden key to the city of Washington D.C., and he was bestowed with awards from the NAACP and the King center in the USA, as well as the International Committee on Education for Teaching in Paris, amongst many others. In Nigeria, the Oloye Abiola was made the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland. It is the highest chieftaincy title available to commoners amongst the Yoruba, and has only been conferred by the tribe 14 times in its history. This in effect rendered Abiola the ceremonial War Viceroy of all of his tribes people. According to the folklore of the tribe as recounted by the Yoruba elders, the Aare Ona Kakanfo is expected to die a warrior in the defense of his nation in order to prove himself in the eyes of both the divine and the mortal as having been worthy of his title"
THE QUESTION WE SHOULD ASK IS THIS, AMONG THE IGBO PEOPLE, WHO AMONG THEM HAS GARNERED ENOUGH RECORD TO BEAT THIS MAN?

@austin, I never used any achebe's novels throughout my sojourn in school.
Also, the best award that someone can receive on earth is the nobel prize, it is only an Ogun state man that have ever received it in Nigeria....so no reason for comparison. The only Nigerian that has been given the permit to enter any country without visa is wole soyinka.
All those useless billionaires in Igbo ride on the pedestal of corruption. People like Orji kalu, maduka, elumelu, and some bunch of syncophants rose to that post through the oil subsidy scam....so who's fooling who.
Igboland is cursed cos if not, there people wouldn't be migrating to other land all cos of business. The fact is dat their lands has been gushed down with erosion. Moreson, the people are so daft and illiterateand dis account to the number of igbos who filled lagos with little or no education.
Yorubaland is a haven for every tribe and we are the most accommodating tribe in Nigeria

In the realm of literature, no other person is better than wole soyinka.
In the realm of business, if u compare all the richmen in IGBOLAND, they cnt even measure up to mike adenuga, MKO Abiola.
Ekwueme and Diya are the same thing.
The only state dat has produced the presidents who have ruled more longer than any tribe in Nigeria is ogun state.
Ogun state is economically developed more than any igbo state. About 80percent of all the drugs and pharmaceutical companies in nigeria are located in ogun state. All the limestones in Nigeria comes frm ogun statewhich build all the houses in igbo land.
The best profeSsor of all professors in Nigeria is unarguably wole shoyinka.
To add salt into ur injuries, awolowo was the person, I repeat, awolowo was the person that sent clothing materials to the igbo hinterland for the first time. Prior to that time, igboland was devoid of civilisation and the people were covering themselves with leaves until awolowo came with that bold steps. Ask all your professors who were beneficiaries of the free education of awolowo. Chinua achebe also enjoyed the free education of an ogun state man. More than 80 percents of those igbo people who got educated between 1940s to 1970 enjoyed the benefits of free education of awolowo. Ask fathers and mothers, ur governors and senators, ur dead heroes. They will attest to this
