There was no need for this unprofessional tantrum,by this Judge. That said,this is a Democratic Country,and the DSS should not be disobeying any court order.

Ur clearly a layman, totally bereft of any modicum of idea about law or its procedures. try google "Contempt of Court, ex facie curiae" and learn about the immense powers at the judge's disposal where there have been an infraction. You'll come to realise that his lordship was even very much restrained in his justified and not unprovoked reaction. A more sanguine judge would have taken a more drastic action.

Juxtapose the oil exploration occasioned devastation and degradation therein with the money NDDC gets, vis-à-vis the money PTF got in the 90s and used to develop mainly the north. In the 80s there was a lot of media sensitisation about zebra crossings. So adherence was pretty high. But these days, how many zebra crossings de naija. Most have been washed off, and Govt no send. I can count the number of zebra crossings in abuja, despite its rich network of roads. Another factor is the prevailing use of traffic lights. The modern ones come with pedestrian lights too.
