Please how can I recover my money for retail supermarkets Ilorin branch ( ShopRite Ilorin branch) during the cashless period I want to Ilorin ShopRite to get some stuff and I use my ATM card for payment but it declined my card and I was told by cashier that they accept transfer which I did and it was successful but when I got home I saw another debit alert. I went to my bank to lodge complain which I was told that I did double transfer to ShopRite and statement account was printed for me to enable to reclaim my money for ShopRite but I have been going there without success. Please if there is any means to lodge complain

I can totally relate. Some of us can't cope without fresh air for long. The plane was probably static for more than 10 minutes with at least 60 passengers taking up to limited oxygen, not as if one can open the windows to allow fresh air come in. That's enough to make someone who is borderline asthmatic very uncomfortable.

I checked google and saw that the price range of the firetrucks used in airports is between $750k-$1.2million. Shipping them to Nigeria comes at a price too. Not excusing the minister for corruption but the price of those trucks is not too ludicrous.

The person I pity most is his future wife whoever or wherever she is. At some point he will want to settle down and if his mum and siblings situation remains like this, his future wife won't find it easy at all. What I'm trying to understand is how your deadbeat dad stopped your mum from earning a living. Did he bind her hands in chains and prevented her from finding something to do? Sadly your mum is one of those women who see themselves as dependents for pretty much their entire lives; from parents to boyfriends to husband to kids, a very sad way to live, mounting financial pressure on the kids too. Your story about your dad favouring his kids from his first wife is not adding up too. It's either you left out some parts or your parents did not tell you the full story about what truly ended his first marriage. If your mum played a part in it, it could be where the resentment is coming from. If your mum didn't, then your dad is a typical Nigerian man who blames everyone else for his fuckups but himself. Either ways your mum knowing she has an unsupportive husband should not have left herself redundant for this long. You have to explain the reality of your situation to her that the financial burden is getting to you, she and her other children need to get their hands on something except they feel certain jobs are beneath them. Don't burn yourself out. God forbid if you quench today, your mum and siblings will continue their lives.

Yes. I meant to transfer to a FBN account, unfortunately the account was of UBA. The same account number but different banks. I didn't check the account name when I transferred 50k and sent receipt to my brother. It was when he received the receipt and saw different name that he called my attention.

Long story cut short, I went to UBA to complain that I mistakenly sent money to one of their customers' account. And they helped me put a withdrawal limit to that account but asked me to go to my bank; FBN or court. I went to my bank, and they helped me look for the phone number of that receiver via his account number cum BVN.

We called him and after many talks he sent the money back to me. However when he got to his bank he has problem of withdrawal so he called me and I went back to UBA, wrote a letter and they lifted the limit on his account.
Note some UBA account numbers are the same with First Bank account numbers.

That must have been before the 10 digit NUBAN account was introduced.

I made similar mistake during my early days of internet banking when one couldn't match account name with account number. I entered the account number but picked the wrong bank. I got debited but what saved me was that the recipient bank didn't have that particular account number in their database, my money literally was left hanging for days. It took several email exchange between me and GTB customer agent before the money was eventually posted to the right account.

What she experienced was spotting during pregnancy, it occurs in a lot pregnancies and a first timer would assume she's undergoing miscarriage due to the bleeding involved. A husband sees his wife obviously in distress and all he could do was coldly dismiss her fears and request for food? That's not faith, that's signs of an uncaring, insensitive and potentially abusive husband.
