Sir, i beg to disagree. it was under jonathan you could leave warri and know u would get to lagos in max of 6hrs. Even Fashola attested that e built more roads than any other administration. It was under jonathan that youths were empowered with youwin and surep and as for the refineries not working, that is a balant lie. from where i stay in warri, you could see the fire of the refinery burning night and day. so yes was working. Portharcourt refinery was also working so what are u saying. please get ur facts straight before you say nonsense. Do you even know what it means or takes to be the fastest growing economy in Africa? only that one trumps whatever buhary can do
mrmetoo1:
When these people want to run their online campaigns, they're not even smart about it. Funds have obviously been released to the #PDPHouseofHunger youths. This is the third thread I've seen in a few h hours listing the exact same thing. Guys your benefactor was a horrible president. He mismanaged funds. He didn't build anything notable. He didn't complete a single road. Not a single airport renovation was completed. We can't boast of using the railway as an alternate means of transport anywhere in Nigeria. Already existing refineries didn't work under Jonathan. The economy was growing fast under Jonathan because Nigeria as a country was making more money than it ever made thanks to oil prices. It wasn't like Nigeria was exporting anything else that added to that wealth despite our natural resources and agricultural export potential. All Jonathan did was start work on what he knew Nigeria needed and that was it. They had ideas but corruption blinded them. They knew what to do but greed and theft prevented them from doing so. The economy was so good under Jonathan yet Nigeria was already borrowing to pay salaries at $60/barrel

and how is ur president that is not supervising looting developing the country. Under Jonathan Nigeria became the fastest rising economy in Africa. But under Buhari, even the cameronian franc is more valuable than the naira. so outside the looting, what else do you have.
PassingShot:

Above all, he supervised mindless and senseless looting of our treasury

Since you wre born, am not sure you have ever assisted a kid in doing an homework. When you have done tell me and I will start listening. Anyway u wre probably a dullard in class. Go and teach for one month, then come and talk I will listen. You expect teacher to perform magic yet u cannot even assist ur child in doing homework. Ogbeni ur pikin go dull pass u o
ironkurtain:

Anyway thank God you are no more teaching because people like you are one of the reasons the educational system in our country is deteriorating. You quit your teaching job cos you thought it was easy and couldnt handle the heat of making sure that the students behaved and did well in their studies. And all you do is blame the parents. Dude you are the one that is lazy here and daft here. I wouldnt want my kid to go near you for his own safety and for YOUR OWN SAFETY.
Education / Re: Teacher Tortures 10-Year-Old Boy In Ogun For Not Doing His Homework (pic) by dominusgai(m): 9:55am On Feb 13, 2016
Teachers are not magicians and we both know that one week will not be enough to grasp a topic by slow learners, it might even take up to three weeks before some slow learner would understand what a fast learner understood in 3 days. While I understand the school has a lot to do, I know for a fact that its d duty of the parents to monitor what the child does at home. And I also know for a fact that parents of these days have become lazy. Even in USA, a teacher cannot carry all the students along in a class. A class will always be divided by 3, the very brilliant ones that need little teacher assistant, the not too brilliant ones that can improve with the teachers assistant and ythe very dull ones (academically) that the teacher cannot help. Let's be realistic here, a teacher is expected to spend 45 minutes per subject. Except all ur children are intelligent, that time barely covers explanation for one dull student. So yea, it is d duty of the parents to try and help by ensuring their children do assisgnments at home. I have a kid I assist in her assignments and truely she understands better with one one one explanation and so do most children. But u don't expect the teacher to provide these one on one explanation for the pupil. That is wre assignment comes in. When you give them an assignment, it is expected that they meet their parents or elder ones to help futher explain the subject. But when a child does not do the homework, u bring the trouble back to the teacher and u make the teacher repeat. As I said before, this kind of flogging will not come from one day of not doing homework. It comes after several warnings of not doing homework. How wud a mother not ensure that the childs homework is always done. Dat is the duty of the parents not the teachers. And u guys should forget all this emotional trauma bullshit. We are africans and we are not as emotionally damaged as the whites. I was flogged like this growing up by my teacher and the next week I was still laughing at his jokes in class.
canDy4eva:
let me correct an impression here, first am a teacher n also a mum so should b able to speak from both points of view. A good teacher ensures that all the pupils in his or her class understands wot eva that is been taught. Agree to the fact that all the pupils will not grasp at the same time n that's why a topic can last for a week so that the slow learners can pick. Yes I agree to the fact that parents also have a role to play but trust me, the school has a lot to do.
Education / Re: Teacher Tortures 10-Year-Old Boy In Ogun For Not Doing His Homework (pic) by dominusgai(m): 7:46pm On Feb 12, 2016
What is the abuse there, he is ten yrs old and so what. If at ten he wants to be as storbbon as a goat and not always do his homework he shuld be treated as one. Brother, abeg go teach for 3 months before I go fit listen to u. Besides I am not a teacher anymore niether am I frustrated, but it is your kind that will be to daft and lazy to check his childs book at nite. All u will care about is to pay school fees and expect miracle to happen at the end of the term without monitoring the child.
ironkurtain:

Mr man before you rant your invalid opinion here first of all go and check the differences between training a child and abusing a child. The kid is only ten years old for crying out loud. He got flogged like this because he didnt do his homework. So if it was something more than not doing his homework, the teacher will cut the child's head off and kick it to his or her parents house. My grand father once told me that his own grand father said that stubborn kids were sold into slavery and it was accepted during that time. Why dont you sell your own kid into slavery for being stubborn and you will see how fast you will make the headline news because of the way the police and your neighbors handled you that day. Infact, from the way you are responding to people's comments, you might be one of those teachers who take out their frustrations on kids because their job and life in general sucks. If you are still living in some cavemen century, let me update you on how the world is at present. These days there are programs for stubborn kids so that you dont have to literally kill the child to make him or her behave. If you have to cane the child, then do it with moderation according to what the child had done. What that teacher did to this child shows the kind of person he is. He is the kind of man that beats his wife at home when he is not in school brutalizing someones kid.

I take it u have never tought in ur life. Ur type has probably never even assisted a child in doing homework. If u have u would have known that dat amount of floging was not given to d boy for failing to do one day homework, but has the habit of not doing his homework. But ur type being lazy would not have bothered to check if the child did his homework. But y wud u, wen u can always blame the teacher for ur childs failure. The problem is, nigerians just act stupid at times. If not for the floggin given to people. They would have been worse for it. Nigerian parents of these days spend less dan 4 hours with their kids, put all the child training on the teachers and expect the teacher not to use the cane, that is stupidity. And ur kind might not even be able to handle the children during holidays, and cannot wait for school to resume before sending ur child to school. I can comfortably say that children of this generation will have it rough because they are highly disrespectful and they are not disciplined. Look at the marks. Do u really believe this was done because a child did not do his homework once. As one person said previously, the child would have a pepetual habit of not doing his homework. And for those always trying to put the blame of not doing the home work on the teacher. How foolish of u. U are the kind that will find excuses for children that goes to steal. The parents that cannot ensure their child do their home work is as irresponsible as the child and has shown that they don't check the childs note after school. I for one cannot take my child to a school they don't flog. And I will stand by this word, if not for flogging, nigeria would have been worse than it is. Or just tell me, what do u think will be the solution for a child that does not do the homework regularly. Won't u be the first to complain if the child fails at the end of the term
ironkurtain:

I went through this sh!t in my high school days. But any teacher that tries that on my kid, I will hit the school and murder his ass infront of other teachers.

Who produces more food? what will bayelsians sell to earn income? Fish? If Nigeria stops selling crude and hence have no money to import food, the east and south south would suffer worse starvation than the north and west.

Bros boko hara was not funded by pdp. Wre wre u wen buhar said an attack on boko harram was an attack to d north. Wre wre u when d farmers wre diverting fertilizzers meant for farming to bokoharam. What about when nothern leaders refused to disclose d hide outs of boko haram and u have d follish audacity to say pdp sponsored boko haram. The most annoying thing is dat 60 percent of these so called APC party wre former PDP members that wre part of the looting of this country. And till I die I will stand my ground, no girls wre missing in Chibok, it was a publicity stunt that went out of control
simpleseyi:
PDP created, funded and nurtured Boko Haram for 8 years. Now, the nonentities want Baba Buhari to completely destroyed the Boko Haram in 6 months. Don't we all think that they may be insaned? The FG has technically destroyed the Boko Haram. There is no single Nigerian territory under Boko Haram unlike under PDP and the clueless one when Boko Haram hoisted their bloody flag on Nigerian soil and controlled several local governments in the North East. Boko Haram cannot attack Army, Navy, Airforce, Police or even Boys' Scout barrack again unlike under PDP and the clueless drunk when Boko Haram will write letters to military authorities to inform the military that they(Boko Haram) will attack them(military). What a shame. I bow down my head in shame for Goatluck Jonascam. So, Boko Haram is now battling for survivial by planting bombs on children and sending them to market and religious places because they(Boko Haram) cannot launch conventional attacks they launch severally under the clueless one.

Femi Aribisala has been wailing before the election, after the election lost, I expect him to commit suicide. All his lovers should pray that the new musician in town who also doubles as ATM called Dasuki Sambo should not remember to mention Femi Aribisala's name because if he does, then Femi Aribisala will be put behind the bars. We all know our leaders wre corrupt, so don't come to us with dat bullshit. He is not d first Government to inherit a corrupt regime. America did it, singapore did it, china did it. But those who inherited bad regimes did not hide their failings on d bad regime they had. If them like, let them tell me they stole all the money, I still stand my ground dat a gud leader will start work with d little he has been receiving. I will ask u once again, wud nigeria vote for buhari again if for any reason they recall another election today?

U wud hav been blind not to have known d condition of the car. We all knew d problems of nigeria. We all knew the faults of the car. And when u guys wre campaigning, y did u not tell us the fixing of d problem is dependent on the fault of the car? I am very sure we wud not have voted u. No, u told us u cud fix d car in 3 days no matter d fault. Don't tell me u don't know d fault of the car. Even a E year old baby knows nigerias problem. Corruption, light, subsidy, bad road. Its not a quadratic equation trying to figure out nigerias problem. But as usual, u will always excuse ur failings. Bros start solving and stop blaming,
ddippset:
for the car, a better analogy would be that you kept the actual condition of the car from me. That made me unaware of the extent of damage until I received it. Also for the project a better analogy would be that the lecturer refused to approve the project until very late when the time became too short. Even the hand over notes which Jonathan and his ministers refused to reveal until a day before the hand over. These are more appropriate analogies which describe the situation at hand.

It is still baffling how APC supporters will excuse their failing. Let me ask u a question. If u guys knew u cud not fix nigerias problem soon, y did u promise nigerians heaven and earth during the campaign. I personally am not believing they wud fix all the problems in a year, but even the basic one like senate allowance reduction (not salary reduction) they have not done it. For a party that was propagating change and now have majority of the senate that is something dat sud have not been difficult to do. Using ur car analysis, we did not give u d broken car. U came to us and told us urself u cud fix d car in 3 days. Imagine a student asking a teacher to give him a week for a project and now complaining that d time given is not enough. If we had called buhari and handed him d presidency without election, I wud have accepted his excuses. But he came to us, told us what e wud do and we voted. Now let me ask u a question, if Buhari has told us dat for the first 7 months he wud do nothing, do u believe nigeria wud have voted for him?
ddippset:
I agree with you about that. My problem is with supporters of pdp would love to criticize the president. If buhari takes panadol today because he has got a headache 1 million wailers will criticize him for daring to have a headache. Let people criticize the government but pdp apologist should shut it. The are not genuine. They started critisizing hum even before he even bought a form to run for president. Its just like selling me a dead car that you couldn't fix in 10 days and expect me to fix iron 3 days. Pdp should shut up. They have lost the right and morality to talk. Let kowa, apga speak

Bros, stop saying nonsense. At this point 80 percent of those dat voted buahri will not touch him if we should call for a rerun today. His government is the most stupid and clueless government I have ever seen. His policies are destroying small businesses by the day. His spokesmen are contradicting each other by the minute. He is making the naira virtually useless in the world and increasing hardship for the people. Imagine fuel shortage lingering for close to two months. Subsidy still not removed. Our senators want to waste 4 billion to buy cars, yet they want to reduce minimum wage. Shay as Dasuki named him as a reciever the matter died. APC, excusing their incompetency since the bigining of their regime?
ddippset:
I might not see any other thing beyond my stomach yes, but I could still see only 2 things : 1. My very big balls. 2. The fact that myself and the majority of Nigerians would still take the worst of this APC and Buhari regime over the best of PDP and Jonathan! Copy?

but i thought they first said the military refused to release the bodies and carried them off to be buried. how come a contradicting video showing the dead bodies come up. so what do u expect me to believe, did the military bury the bodies in mass graves or did they leave them for looter?
I cannot confirm that this video is from that day and the report says they interviewed witnesses(not that they wre there themselves) and knowing Nigerians, the witnesses probably exaggerated the death tool by 600%
oduastates:
it does not mean that you should kill 300 people just like that.
I guess that omoluabi values makes for a different way of thinking.

Only one group had big guns and the onus was on them to minimise the use of violence.
From all the videos I 've seen, it was the army shooting at defenseless if petulant people who could have been dislodged with tear gas and rubber bullets. Or simply by the governor asking for audience with their leaders.
That their camp was destroyed a few days after, also means that this was premeditated.
It was murder pure and simple and that event has no place in a decent society.
You can check on YouTube to find more videos.

But for those with humanity, this should gives you an idea.

Lets start. First of all, there was only 3 bodies being carried in that video. Watching the video i was thinking the army will be shooting a person every 5 minutes which they did not. As a person that grew up in the south during the time of militancy i can categorically classify this as a routine area raid by the army not a massacre as everybody is labeling the video.
Secondly, the hospital scene they showed had most of their patient there with issues that wre not related to gunshot wounds, so u cannot say they wre all victims of the army attack.
then lets go to the last scene. bros if them shoot u for knee, u no go fit rest on that side of ur body o. but d guy is resting on the knee. how do u expect me to believe its a gunshot wound.
Finnaly, with the nigerian habit of exaggerating problems, i am of the opinion that the people killed in that clash was not more that 25, and i will stand by my claim until a reporter comes to tell me he was there during the shooting and saw the number of people that wre killed. For now all the numbers killed are coming from the shites, and growing in the south (wre rain will destroy 10 houses but the people will inflate it to 1000 houses) i will not accept any number of death unless a reporter can verify it or the army release the number of death during the operation. afterall, their iranian counterparts are claiming over 1000 people wre killed.
oduastates:
it does not mean that you should kill 300 people just like that.
