HAPPY BIRTHDAY...SISTER GLORIA!
SHE IS 52 TODAY!

I write to Celebrate my Dear "Sister Gloria" today.

She is very humble...She listen to me!
She is very wise....I listen to her!
She is too Open....I caution her a lot!
I am too practical...and too cautious....
She cautions me a lot...!
I am too Telescopic and...could be too active...and step on many toes at time. But she is very Microscopic and...meticulous...
So she cautions me....

She is very Prayerful and Consumes a lot of The Words...
She keeps me running a lot of times...to Pray and to...Word..too!
She did more in bringing up our children in the Word of God...
She is the Bible Teacher in our home....!

She is very caring and loving. So caring to all our Office Staff and responsible for caring for them all these years...

The day I went to propose to her, I never beat about the bush or rehearsed any Love persuasive Poem. I never said anything like, "...the Lord sent me" or " I felt the Lord is leading me..." Or " I dreamed and saw..." Or "I heard a voice from Heaven that..." I had said some of those things before to some sisters whom I thought the Lord was leading me to, and I was wrong. This time around, I went to this new sister, after my usual "Much Prayers and Waiting". I was not even sure if the Lord was leading me or not again....My computers have been crashed and the memory virused by the previous disappointments I had met from the sisters I had thought were the will of God.

So I had arrived the campus and the brethren were happy to see me. I usually came at evening time, for Drama rehearsals or if there were drama outreaches, I would come to go with them or lead them to the programs. But this time, I came during the day, at lecture time and many of the brethren were coming to me to know why or what information I had brought for the Fellowship Drama Unit members. I simply said I came to see "Sister Shola". And that was unusual of me. I don't come asking for sisters in the fellowship. I had no business with sisters, but with Fellowship heads and with Drama Unit Co-Ordinator in particular or with the Fellowship President.

So, some brethren spread out to look for "Sister Shola". And one sister found her in the school Library and grabbed her hand: "Bro. Mike is around. He is looking for you." Prior to that time, I had no business with Sister Shola, we were not close. We had only acted together on stage presentations before. She was not among the sisters who were closer to me at Fellowship. She carried her books and both sisters were rushing down to see " Bro. Mike" who had come to the campus at unusual time. The sister brought her and left.

Sister Shola stood before me smiling, and waiting for the instructions, probably to the Drama Unit, or information of a her being cast into a new Drama Unit presentation. I greeted her. She replied with a smile. I told her bluntly, that the Holy Spirit had not sent me, neither did I see any vision.
Then, I asked her: WILL YOU MARRY ME?"
She stood before me speechless for some minutes, looking at me with some astonishment and confusion. She was never never expecting to hear such question from "Bro. Mike" of all people! She was lost for words, because it was the last thing she would expect to hear from me.

I got my answer after one month of waiting. It was on a Sunday Morning. I had travelled to ILESHA and decided to worship in her church. I was in the congregation while I watch her standing tall and slender above the rest choir as they sang the special song for the morning. I never knew she saw me too. I had been praying for the whole month that the Lord would confirm this one this time. I could not imagine how I would feel if the Lord said this one was not the will of God again.

After the church service, I went to wait for her at the front of her house. I just wanted to greet her again and look at her again, and maybe the Lord would answer my prayers this time. She came not so long and ushHAPPY BIRTHDAY...SISTER GLORIA!

After the church service, I went to wait for her at the front of her house. I just wanted to greet her again and look at her again, and maybe the Lord would answer my prayers this time. She came not so long and ushered me into the house quietly. She was quiet. She was not showing any excitement, which got me more worried again. I sat down on a chair while she was writing something on the table. Then, she finished writing, and she turned to me with a small piece of paper containing ONE SINGLE LINE OF SENTENCE:
"I WILL MARRY YOU"

Silence. Grave Silence came down in the room. At last. That was the first time in my life, a lady would agree to marry me. All the once I thought were the will of God for me had, unfortunately, been engaged before I got there. Oh! The Dilemma of a Single Searching Brother! And one of the Sisters even kept me waiting for three years, without giving me a "Yes" or a "No". Until I was delivered from the shackles. At last...!

Right there I knelt down in Prayers and she knelt down in my front with her eyes closed. There, I told the Lord, as I held her hands in prayer, that, "Today, Lord, our Ministry have started. Today, Lord, we shall serve you together with all our life and with all our heart." We prayed further for His help and Mercy upon us. That was day and time, our ministry, Mount Zion began.
That was Sunday 4th, August 1985.
And She was 21 Years Old then, while I was 25!
Is it not evident that the Lord actually led me?

NOW TODAY, THIS GIRL IS 52!
Very Dependable woman!
Strong and Visionary!
Caring and Loving !
Woman of Faith and Vision!
Submissive and Humble!
I am not flattering...!
I HAVE POSSESSED MY POSSESSIONS IN HER!

Happy Birthday!!!
Sister Gloria!

Mrr David Ahmed Okoro started the day early,
having set his alarm clock (MADE IN FINLAND)
for 6am. While his teapot (MADE IN CHINA) was
perking, he shaved with his clipper (MADE IN
HONG KONG). He put on his shirt (MADE IN THE
UK), and designer jeans (MADE IN ITALY) and
shoes (MADE IN THE USA).
After cooking his breakfast in his new electric
cooker (MADE IN INDIA) he sat down with his
calculator (MADE IN MEXICO) to see how much
he could spend today. After setting his
wristwatch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to his radio
(MADE IN VIETNAM) he got in his car (MADE IN
GERMANY) filled with petrol imported from
(SAUDI ARABIA) and continued his search for a
good paying NIGERIAN job...
At the end of yet another discouraging and
fruitless day checking his computer (MADE IN
MALAYSIA), Mr David Ahmed Okoro decided to
relax for a while. He put on his slippers (MADE
IN BRAZIL) poured himself a glass of wine
(MADE IN SOUTH AFRICA), while fiddling with
his mobile phone (MADE IN SOUTH KOREA), and
then wondered why he cant find a good paying
job in... NIGERIA.
He felt achy and sore in his left kneel, he
decided to take one tablet of his TRAMADOL
TABLETS (MADE IN BANGLADESH) to relieve
the pain. Lying down on his bed and wondering
why NIGERIAN External Foreign Reserve has
depleted to under $ 28billion which has
translated to free fall depreciation of Nigerian
NAIRA to US DOLLAR at PARALLEL
MARKET.......
Fellow Nigerians, let's us start producing, let us
start buying made in NIGERIA goods If our
economy is to grow and create better jobs.
How can a country like Nigeria be importing
toothpick, cutting bud, cotton wool, matches,
rubber band e.t.c? And we complain at d same
time that there is no jobs for our teeming
youths?
The situation is even pathetic now when you see
Nigerians ( in Lagos) prefer Cotonou garri to that
of Ijebu, buy cotonou pineapple and they say it is
better than that of Nigeria. That is why frozen
foods will be exported to Cotonou from farms
like that of obasanjo repacked and imported back
to Nigeria because they know Nigerians always
prefer made in outside Nigeria goods .
That is why you will see an expatriate
renumeration will be juicy than that of his Nigeria
counterpart even if that Nigerian is more
certificated than d expatriate ( This also happen
in government parastatals).
Any nation that import majorly foreign made
goods/ services rather than producing their own
are hurting its people....
When we keep importing foreign made products
into Nigeria, we keep importing poverty into our
country and exporting jobs abroad...
Let's go back to the land to grow and patronise
MADE IN NIGERIA products...

BusinessDollar Has Not Risen: Nigeria Economy And The Dollar by domwas2(op): 9:25pm On Feb 25, 2016
Please let me explain to those of us who don't understand Economic terms. Dollar has not increased since Buhari became president.

1. Dollar is not our currency so dollar should not be our business.

2. Our problem is not d government but our problem is our importers and consumers.

3. Naira has remained at 197 naira to 1 dollar since Buhari became president.

4. Buhari has promised not to devalue the Naira and he has maintained that promise.

5. Both at CBN and at interbank rates, dollar has remained 197.

6. However because we are too lazy to produce what we use in Nigeria we import even toothpicks and matches.

7. Buhari does not like d importation of luxury goods because luxury goods is d reason for most corruption, that is why he banned 41 products from having access to forex.

8. However when Nigerian importers insisted on importing those 41 products, FG asked them to find their dollar at d BDCs parallel market also known as black market.

9. And to discourage the pressure Nigerians are mounting on the Naira just to get dollars for importation, CBN banned DMBs from selling dollars to BDCs.

10. To survive the pressure of excess dollar demands, BDCs resorted to sourcing for dollars from neighbouring countries through illicit money laundering routes.

11. Because of the risks faced by BDCs to source for dollars, and because of the increase in demand for dollars by importers because China just resumed from their business holidays, BDCs keep increasing the price at which they exchange dollars to naira and now it is 400 naira to 1 dollars.

12. However that does not mean that govt has changed the exchange rate because if our genuine importers go to CBN and fill Form M to import raw materials for local production, they will get dollars at 197 naira each.

13. So the problem is that we love to consume luxury foreign products yet we are too lazy to manufacture them here.

14. For example u will see a dull girl using iPhone 5 without even knowing simple physics and computer engineering part of how that phone was produced.

15. I want Buhari to ban every foreign product from Nigeria until Nigerians learn to produce and use Made in Nigeria products.

16. Let us stop complaining about dollar as if dollar has become Nigeria's currency.

17. It is even bad enough that most of those complaining about the high exchange rate of dollar do not have 1 single dollar in their purse.

PLEASE USE MADE IN NIGERIA PRODUCTS...

God bless 9ja.

Dating is not advisable for
Born Again Bible Believing Christians; it only leads
to sin, which dishonors God, then God doesn’t bless
the union. This ends up causing long term issues in
the marriage by blurring the lines between lust and
love.
Once lust and the physical aspect has already been
introduced in the relationship, the waters are
muddied and both parties cannot see or think
clearly. This is also a warning sign that the
relationship is not God ordained.
If only one of you is ready to get married, then you
are incompatible and shouldn’t date. This also
turns into recreational dating for the one who isn’t
ready to marry and a big waste of time for the one
who is ready to marry. When an individual is ready
for marriage after spending quality time with God in
worship, sanctification, and service, nothing pleases
Him more than to bring a suitable mate for that
individual in the covenant of Marriage.
