lakoomoyi: Did you read the full article or just the headline sir?
More than 10 states around the world were mention.
If you don't find it educative, this might be info you already have or seen, just seeing this here and I believe some are also seeing for the first time.
Last I check SA, joburg and cape Town were among the list but now I have seen lagos has join the list also, so I find it informative in a way.
And that doesn't mean you should now come and flood everywhere with breaking news ooo. Nah beg we beg Oga what that guy wrote up there is wrong. Are you an animal residing in Lagos? I'm referring to his comment. What he wrote up there is arrant nonsense. That's not an informative or educative post. I will post something related soon and use an offensive comment like his then watch the way you react. |

Seun: Isn't anyone smart enough to notice that I did not actually defend Tinubu as alleged? Pointing out that a title is misleading does not constitute a defence of Tinubu. People are running mad because of this election. I've tried my best to be patient with people and to reason with them, especially on Twitter, but they keep misbehaving. Lol it's becoming really hard not to respond. |

lakoomoyi: Kindly point out were it stated/campaign for OBI or BAT on this post.
And how this could lead to a heated argument that would derail the thread.
This kinda info is informative and educative, unless you try to pretend like an ignoramus (which I know you are not) who doesn't know the difference between this and and the previous posts of yours that could cause a fuse for the next 30 pages.
If you have any informative news or discussion that could benefit people here, we are always open to welcome that kinda discussion.
Peace ✌ OK sir Most animalistic humans reside in Lagos is quite informative abi? I dey come |

BAZ001: You are not far from the fact but the truth is the 1. Time difference (not easy to keep up with happenings in Nigeria or nairaland unless I’m being mentioned. ) And 2. Your heart will always be Where your treasures are You will tend to focus on making more money, friends and learning to understanding your new environment, work , way of life and fun... fun many people+ovens killing you with attention. I was always on nairaland Uber thread because I want to learn more and relate with people in my field, though some moved to fake telegram group and asked for your marriage certificate. Right now I’m more on IT forums and trying to mingle with people in my field and catch up with Indians and improve myself, cos this Indians full everywhere Nigerians full.
Maybe if I start selling oyel or lemon limca car, I will be making comments here regularly.

obynzo: What development did LCDA bring? The real reason behind the LCDA creation was to entrench ACN (now APC ) at grassroots level to make it hard for any other party to gain prominence hence Obasanjo's opposition to it by with holding Local government allocation to Lagos which the paid propaganda specialists lied that it was the state allocation that he with held. Paid kò, unpaid ni. |

openmine: First i doubt if you even went through the link you posted...Yes he said the word 'restructuring' but he never explicitly defined it based of devolution of powers or creation of state policing as you are alluding to! The Afenefere clearly defined restructuring based on devolution of powers while Tinubu only used the word loosely due to pressure after being quiet over the subject and only spoke when it became obvious that he was the only one keeping mute! If you are in doubt, read the link you sent! Uncle you said he didn't talk about it. I posted link, now you said he didn't define it. I gave you an example of LCDA we're using in Nigeria today as part of the reasons why I'm voting someone. You keep saying he's supposed to do this or that. As a senator or governor? I told you the one he did when he was in Power abi what do you want again? |
Politics › Re: We Will Decentralise National Grid, Invest $550m To Boost Power Supply – Buhari by donbrowser(m): 10:29am On Jun 22, 2022 |
openmine: Your undeniable support for Tinubu is quite explicit but he can never be absolved of any blame because he brought Buhari to Nigerians as the best thing since sliced bread! So why did the same northern cabal not halt the primaries by rigging the system to favour someone else instead of him? Was Lawan the only boy he had...what about Gbajiabiamila? Even if the acclaimed cabal were a hindrance, why did he not speak up if the presidency was not listening? Why is he the national leader? Even when Bisi Akande was national leader of APC,he spoken against the handling of some issues by the President but Tinubu kept quiet! Why did he not join the Afenefere in declaring support for the devolution of powers and state policing? He just kept mute for over 7years and now he suddenly realised he must support devolution of powers and state policing when he has become a flagbearer just so that he can get the votes of Nigerians? Forget about political will, the right legislature not the presidency will ensure that the devolution of powers takes place! You constantly talk about not supporting Buhari but you are also forgetting that the Tinubu you now support was also the one who brought Buhari....not just once but twice! Please if i may ask you...what will the APC use in campaigning in the 2023 since they are the ruling party? 2020 https://guardian.ng/politics/time-to-restructure-is-now-says-tinubu/2017 https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/244019-tinubu-warns-separation-advocates-restructuring.html 2017 https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2017/09/restructure-nigeria-now-attain-balance-says-tinubu/amp/ There you go |
Politics › Re: We Will Decentralise National Grid, Invest $550m To Boost Power Supply – Buhari by donbrowser(m): 8:45am On Jun 22, 2022 |
openmine: All what has been said resides with the legistlative arm of government because one of their primary duties is to write or modify laws! The issue of state police or devolution of powers are issues that can be handled by the legistlature which brings me to another issue...why keep mute for 8 years when Tinubu who was the national leader could have lobbied for these things to be done esp considering the Speaker and senate president are his boys? Yes you have no business with Buhari but the same person you are supporting was the one who said in 2014 that Buhari is the solution to the country! It's all about political will. Tinubu cannot Lobby for these things for 2 reasons. The first being that revealing such a dangerous plan could have better prepared the cabals/Northern powers against his person as a presidential candidate. Take Osinbajo vs Kyari as an example and what has been his relationship with them since then. Secondly the senate president you claimed was Tinubu's boy is the same person Tinubu asked to lick his wound. If there's no political will by the president to restructure and devolute powers to the state, nothing of such will happen. I repeat, I do not have any business with Buhari. Many people voted Atiku because of Obi in 2019. Politics is a game of numbers and strategy. Buhari is a disaster and he will always remain one. What candidates are bringing to the table based on experience is what I'm concerned about. |
Politics › Re: We Will Decentralise National Grid, Invest $550m To Boost Power Supply – Buhari by donbrowser(m): 8:22am On Jun 22, 2022 |
openmine: I cannot vote for a man who helped to bring this calamity we are currently facing currently in Nigeria! For 8 years,he had the opportunity to lobby for the decentralization of power since the ones in control of the assembly and senate are his men! All that was needed was to modify the electricity laws from exclusive to concurrent and the states will have the exclusive rights to generate, propagate and distribute electricity in individual states but he kept mute for 8 years! Finally,The issue of power supply decentralization to states has nothing to do with Tinubu but it all rests squarely on the national assembly! I'm not referring to electricity alone. Issues like state police requires a president with balls to do it, devolution of more power to the states, if you checked the last outburst between Aketi and Malami you will understand what I mean. I have no business with Buhari and have never supported him. |
