TravelRe: U.S. Non-immigrant Visas: We’re Listening by donchuky(m): 6:39pm On Jan 12, 2017
I applied for visa renewal with my wife thorough dropbox. The first visa was granted to us before my wife took in and I notified the embassy for change of travel intention. Mine visa was granted but my wife given a 221g form and requested for another interview. Do we need to go to interview with any other supporting documents?.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by donchuky(m): 4:57pm On Oct 22, 2015
ask her for the list of test so you can do them in Nigeria its far cheaper. like Gonorrhea test over their is $45 which you can do with less than 1k here. so it always better to have all your test here so you can only bother with scan which you cant dodge.

Ye2ndearisto:
@donchucky thanks so much.... I will tell her when I see her. Please any cheap December flight to Houston
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by donchuky(m): 10:57am On Oct 22, 2015
We Paid 2240. she accepted all our test expect the once the hospital did not include on their report. Lab 45 and scan 160 total 2445 also . Hospital 2538 and 1500 for Anesthesia (refundable if you did not use epidural) total 4038. somebody mentioned Houston anesthesia associates which is cheaper so verify from Dr. Amajoh if HM accepts them.
Tell her in time to give you the list of all the lab result you will do to save cost. She is good and gives listen ears on ways to save cost but not putting you on risk though. She was monitoring wify labour progress right from her house with the use of some chips they placed on her tommy till she was fully dilated im very impressed with her services.

Ye2ndearisto:
@donchuky congratulations on the arrival of your princess.i intend using Dr Amajoh please give me a breakdown of her cost that you paid. Thanks a lot yo naira land wonderful job I must confess

Finally our princess came this morning at Methodist sugar land after 18 months of prayers and waiting for the lord. Awww, the LORD is good.
Dr. Amajoh was on hand to took the delivery herself even though it was her off day she made sure the mother and little princess are well and sound.
Kudos to soulcare for all the wonderful job they are doing for the preggis and for all the contributors cos i learnt alot from the forum.
Wishing all preggis successful testimony.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by donchuky(m): 9:18pm On Oct 09, 2015
I think the reason Dr. F is doing all this is bc alot of ppl are using him. We are using Methodist in Sugarland and Dr. Amajoh she accepted all our test from Naija except the smear pap with our hospital did not included on their report and scan she repeated. we paid about 2400 including test and 160 for ultrasound. It is a choice thing but i prefer Methodist than Oakbend.
ozycy:
Vuvu annoying. I wonder what I ll be testing for $600 and after wch the hospital will still test der own. I didn't pay a dime for any test. All my tests were accepted by my precious doc grin. Na me come dey beg for test sef grin

My dear just pray and be bold. Are u coming with ur hubby if yes allow him do the talking and if no just be bold, know the address ur going with look at ur blue form print all printable to help ur case if things turns rough. But God will do it the same way HE did ours yesterday.
For cash tell the everything is in ur card n risky carrying large money cos even them can't even travel with 4k on them just that many of our bros n sis has spoil our image. Lastly be truthful don't lie or cry to conceal ur pregnancy to them.

In the spirit of giving back. My wifey and I left Lagos to Houston via KLM. No fitness to fly doctors repot etc asked at MM2. finally arrived houston at 130pm US time with burden on proof and wife was Wheel straight to COB officer cos the queue was much n thank God booked wheel chair all through.

CBO: you passport checked my visa and asked what you purpose of visit
Me: family vacation and wife child birth.
CBO: where you gona stay and who is funding
Me: gave address and told him I am sponsoring.
COB: make sure you pay all bill and don't use government aid or will cancel her visa next time.
Me: I know and capable paying all the bills.
Stamped us in with b2 till March everything happened within 3 mins no document was request.
Got the exist gate only for the lady to discover CBO wrote only 1 on the blue form and send us back to scan room. The lady checked said is okay and send us to am in Al paste control within 5 mins we are out. Soul care already send a driver to pick us up.

Thanks God for his favour and this forum for educating people. Thanks to bsharon, firsttymum etc.
Lesson learned: Hubbies please make out time to travel with wife it makes everything look genuine especially when your wife don't have a good travelling history.
PoliticsRe: Exxon Begins Production At 65000BPD Offshore Nigerian Field by donchuky(m): 5:20pm On Sep 17, 2015
you got it wrong. all joint ventures operation are shared 45 and 55. Now out of the 45% for the Exxon, Esso has 56.25 and shell has 43.75 while the Fed gov 55% is intact.
yimikaa:
Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited holds a 56.25 percent interest in Erha North Phase 2, while Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company holds the remaining 43.75

NNPC holds 0.00 percent, OUR OIL angry

Anyway, since kachichuwkwu became GMD of NNPC, I noticed mobil has been in the news of late.

For rented they will always ask you if u want insurance or use your home country own. Look out for their weekend deals for low prices please take insurance ooooooooh there no be naija oooh.
firsttymum:
have u looked it up?

And it's both.... Sometimes I'll use someone else's car.. Car rental is per 24 hrs abi?
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by donchuky(m): 9:47pm On Aug 30, 2015
It's okay for your extra step effort but the truth is that you don't need it. Are you going to texas? If yes I mean it you don't need the international drivers licence. If is a rental car please buy insurance it is a crime not hAve insurance on the car coz you will pay heavily if any thing happen. If you host have a car surely they will have insurance.
firsttymum:
better safe than sorry... Will get do stuff from VIO I don't want to get there and dey start requesting for it. Lol
Thanks for the advice... Will ensure it has insurance, but wait will I just ask d owner of d car for d insurance?
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by donchuky(m): 7:36am On Aug 30, 2015
Depending on the state, you don't need international driving licence if you have original driving licence. In two state i have visited in the State alll the ask me is my drivers licence. I think after six months you will not use your home country licence to driver again but make sure the car you are hiring has insurance on it.
firsttymum:
will try and do the VIO one on Monday... I have d original naija drivers license... Thanks

IjayMama:
Hello Nairalanders, been a while. I had my adorable lil princess August last year in Methodist Hospital Sugar land but right now im in panic mode cos I just found out we are expecting another! My baby is due March and my visa expires February ending. I plan to travel to the US in December...how possible is it dat I use 1 visa for 2 babies, and what if I don't get 6 months at the POE...and considering I haven't been to the US since I had my first baby last year, what would my experience at the POE likely be? Please help!

P.S.
I'm a frequent traveller to the US before I had my daughter and I have all my receipts with zero balance so I'm not owing a dollar.

PoliticsRe: Senators Visit Atiku To Show Their Support For Saraki As Senate President (Pic) by donchuky(m): 6:51am On May 25, 2015
It surprised me that Atiku has suddenly became a rallying and important figure for APC. During the campaign he was no where to be found in fact rumours hv it he planned to defect back to PDP. Police harlot and northern propagandas. They will always carry their brothers along irrespective what they do.
Christianity EtcRe: .:: Non-tithers Are Criminals ::. by donchuky(m): 10:00am On Jul 13, 2014
Debt. 14vs22. Set aside a tithe - a tenth of all that your fields produce each year 23. Then go to the one place where the Lord your God has chosen to be worshipped; and there in his present eat the tithes of your corn, wine and olive oil, and the first - born of cattle and sheep. Do this so that you may learn to honour the Lord your God always. 24 if the place of worship is too far from your home for you to carry there the tithe of the product that the Lord has blessed you with, then do this 25. Sell your produce and take the money with you to the one place of worship 26.spend it on wathever you want - beef, lamb, wine, beer - and there, in the present of the Lord your God, you and your families are to eat and enjoy yourself. 27. Do not neglect the Levites who live in your towns; they have no property of their own 28. At the end of every third year bring the tithe of all your crops and store it in your towns 29. This food is for the Levites, since they own no property, and for the foreigners, orphans, and widows who live in your towns . They are to come and get all they need. Do this and the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.
You can also read Deut. 12vs5-7 or Numbers 18 or Leviticus. These are some bible scriptures your men of God can never quote for you when talking about tithes. You can also ready 1Cor.16v2. I am not condemning people who pay or who does not pay but act as your spirit leads you but the bible should be a standard in everything we do.

I am using camry hybrid 07 i must tell you its a good car the fuel efficiency is awesome and its maintenance free car, but U must avoid using road side mechanic as they will do you more harm than good. Check the health of the Hybrid battery because that might be the beginning of your problem if you buy the one that has already dead battery. please get the carfax before buying to ensure ur buying a good car.
