It's like every one is on the "follow do" tile crazy, including me as much as I hate to admit it.

Well, in my defense I did search for reputable company that could do it.. no one, the couple that I found I didn't like the picture of their previous jobs.. I just said make I kukuma just do tiles to avoid story that touches.

The flat where I grow up was built in the early 70s had this terrazzo flooring, still looks nice to this day. Very low maintenance flooring.

Renovated the village house offcourse with some knock downs and fittings...the terrazo floor was done in 1976 before I was even born. it is still sparkling and clean almost 45years.

I currently have some electrical piping materials offloaded today, I plan to stock more electrical materials, wires, lights and fittings, plumbing materials, plumbing fittings, sanitary wares, nails and binding wires, tools and hardware, and all other items useful for the construction and finish of a housing project.

Of course I can't be there everyday, and dont plan on selling on retail, but this should serve as a feeder stock for me, a place to keep materials that will be used in future and hedge against inflation that is ravaging our markets today.

Despite how organized people are saying they are, I don't think it would take so long to reach contact numbers in Nigeria. Even the Nigerian embassy there didn't respond. Those ones are just wasting rent money there.

Good to hear everything turned out well at last..I have used them twice had no issues even with long lay over and hotel overnight stay outside and back at the airport. Just a tip endeavor to add
airport services for the elderly when they are travelling on their own.. it cost more but it is worth it..my mum and her sister been flying lately(both hate flying) for different omugwo as far as 🇦🇺 and the 🇺🇸 .... extra services ensures their pickup and lounge stays inclusive boarding etcetera..

Missed the word design or build a simple inventory software on cloud since the sale reps are mobile not always on site...Thank you for recommending those...

So it appears that people have a new scam where they claim a transaction was declined and get their money back. I know a petrol station dealer who was complaining bitterly about this. So now this is the outcome. It will be much harder for honest people in sorting out failed transactions.

But he is saying certain heights and by extension certain pressure is not worth the cost.

That's correct sir...That's what I was getting at "sufficiency " at his preferred height is that sufficient for you "client " yes why not ....more height more pressure...extra pressure you get is it worth the extra money "client " yes or no. client pays...everything boils to if the client is getting the right advice...something I have mentioned here previously..it is vital for vendors to help clients with all the information ...

In some climes, people keep records of prices and possible events that caused the price to go up or down.

I seem to distinctly remember that around this time last year that every week till the end of the year that the price of cement kept going up.

My point is that I was building about this time last year so I only have 2 years of records, but it seems like it makes sense to ensure that you buy everything you need for construction on or before the last day of November if you wish to escape the seasonal price changes.

This is not a related dollar price hike.

I know someone who keeps records of the exchange rate of the dollar to the Naira for the past 30 years and with the help of such data, he can almost predict if the dollar will rise or fall and that ensures that his decisions are backed by actionable data.

If you are in the construction industry, you should keep such records and most importantly use them to drive your decisions.

The biggest difference between how businesses are conducted here and in the first world is the reliance on data (collecting data, analyzing that data to produce more data) on which future and current decision making is based

If you know the bank that you transfered the money to and his details, pls go to his/her nearest bank and complain about it asap. This is where BVN will do the work.

I have seen a case where they freezed a guy account for this. He had to agree on payment before the bank unfreeze his account.
