Most Nigerians only bid on high mileage or severely accidented cars. It's very difficult to see a Nigerian win a bid for a car below 80,000 miles.

This is especially true for cars above 10 years. Those are the cars you find everywhere in the country.

The hinge could be easily unscrewed with a screw driver or with a chisel and Hammer.

WPA is out of date. True. But it is still an optional feature in routers. It has its uses in certain situations.

However, this forum is Naija based. So I can tell you from my experience, WPA is predominant in Nigeria. I've seen it being used in offices and in homes in Nigeria with my korokoro eye.

This is not safe enough. That's what I'm saying. Shey you see the example wey coffee machine bring ransom ware into a business. This can happen with a lot of modern day gadgets at home - fridges, washing machine, cookers, vacuum cleaner, home server, etc.

So going forward, in addition, it is smart money to get a VPN and anti Malware program. Some VPN come with Malware program.

It’s a long story about Aluminum guys, I’m just tired of there stories I.e non delivery of materials after payment, agreed on certain type of materials but immediately money change hand they will bring lower quality etc.
All these bounce back to my head as the contractor bcs I need to deliver good products to my clients
so I have changed my system of Contract with them now.

Over thinking is going on. I'm using wireless and only wired where necessary as an example my cameras and only because of POE. I just don't want a layperson to read all this and think wireless is not good. It is very good when properly configured. Anyone doing home automation will do some configuration. It goes with the territory.

The above statement is made from a position of carelessness o. Take your personal data seriously.

Home network include highly valuable data to the bad guys e.g internet banking (password) data, email account data, title deeds, family data ( date of births, NIN number, BVN, Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram etc). Is home network a bank? Of course it is.

Home network is not just music and automated light switch. Please take your personal data/information seriously.

Firewall is not enough. Add a good VPN to the mix.

From my previous posts my interests in security issues have been established.

The issue isn't íf wireless is safe or not the issue is how his installers will install it and thus leave his network open for intruders or eavesdropping.(security misconfigurations)

Also if he has a way of determining this before it becomes an issue.

If he doesn't then avoid wireless entirely.

It is a known fact in the industry that it is easier to breach wireless networks than it is to breach Ethernet networks.

I cannot count the number of supposedly secure facilities with open wireless networks because of the ease of joining the network and no one cares enough to hack me or I have no information that can be exploited.
