I have heard few fallacious information few times when i used to climb roofs.high roofs reduces heat ,forgetting walls also contribute to room temperature.They say it's natural air conditioning because house become airy.it is simply a waste of money for me if that space does not contain an Attic.

My rule of thumb is knowing where the coils comes from and who coats them....Bozac coats and i know Sdm did get their coils from Bozac (i cannot guarantee this is true today)hence why I said they are almost same same....I dont know about the third company that's is why I said nothing about it..all the best sir

Aba to Umuahia isn't that far...choice of transportation i am sure would be multiple to choose from.i do not know anything about pricing at all but wouldn't be difficult to find out when you try out one or two shops at Faulks Road.

You should be able to buy anything at Umuahia ultra modern market like they call it.but if you want to be confused with options then try Milverton/Eziukwu road Aba ...otherwise Faulks road heading towards Ariaria international.

Everything is on same street and mostly direct importers .

We didn’t get here because of the refund. We got here because it’s hard to find a replacement for me and some think I deserved to be punished and made unhappy too.
Otherwise those whose quote are lower than mine are supposed to have easily fill in the gap without the need to pay additional extras on the project.
At least I was still selling block and cement 200 and 3,000 as at the date the contract was terminated.

On issue of prudency, pls sir can you mention one material, I didn’t buy on the project as at when due.

I bought 90% of reinforcement for the project during foundation stage. Chekitaut supplied 70% of the granite used on the project before we break ground. We produced all the blocks needed for the project before the end of May. We were even selling to other people later. I bought 90% of the formwork required for the project before we started the foundation.

What else should I have bought that I didn’t buy or supplied as at when needed?

Here is the mediation update about the construction saga btw mr brabus and somehow which I stand as mediator btw them to see how the matter can be solved amicably.

As I said last time that I will update the house, here we go, straight to the point in short paragraph

The mediation start on 28th/ 29th of dec 2021.
After much time on call coupled with sms and whatzap messages with mr brabus.
Like 20min, 40min, 30min and so so, the last time we talk on phone was about 80min (1;20min) straight talk, ( I almost get hear problem that day)
I also reached MR somehow” through messages etc.

I tried to get two things done.
- the amount due to pay back
-time to pay back

On the amount due to pay back, MR brabus said he can ONLY pay N1m back based on his own calculation against N2m QS valuation .

Now after much discussion with him (brabus) he said he will do something by adding to the N1m when his head cool down, plus when meet with his cleint one in one to run mind together ( I suggested this to him)

Let me say I won this part of battle halve way.

Now to the second one “ time to pay the initial 1m, after another serious discussion MR brabus said the said N1m and is not ready at the time we discussed this ( 6th of January) and I asked when bcs its urgent and he promised to get back to me on the time, but up till now he as not get back to me, I message him but no reply yet.

I always report our discussion to mr “somehow” he do also follow up.

At the moment NO penny as been paid ( I don’t achieved my aim fully on this matter, do I called it failed mediation, hmm No bcs I I gain some I loss some. But generally I get something about life on this matter.

So as it’s now I don’t know if the client ( mr somehow will use another form to retrieve his money back or still go back to mediation. As I will take a small break about the matter and leave it for the cleint to decide.

I thanks MR somehow for his gentility and understanding toward the matter.
I also thanks MR Brabus for his time also, I will not forget others good people here who want the matter to be settled amicably.

If she defaulted on anything , way to go was never forcing her through the backdoor.

That is my point...she overstayed her entry permit staying 5 weeks which is more than 30days clearly stamped on her passport ...at this point they ought to explain this but they failed to do that properly hence the whole rubbish or trying to ask for money which is very bad behavior for our airport and a shame to our country.

Just to be clear.there are far too many rotten behaviors at the airport ....for that video here are major points to note;

1. Irrespective of how long the visa you got at the embassy ,only the immigration officer at port of entry decides how long you stay at a time.you get only 30days at a time

2.yes she overstayed her entry permit not entire visa so she was wrong.she needs needed to visit any immigration office every 30days for elongation very simple procedure.

3.The problem started when they couldn't explain to her properly because they were trying to keep it low and put the money in their pockets instead of giving her the proper Government fine..

Colorcoat is just different brand name of companies making the coils. Tower makes and uses colocoat (kolorkoat) companies like first express aluminium or Bozac buys coils from them...and all tower brand like asaba alu...Pgn

Colortek is from first aluminum....companies like best aluminium and first aluminum uses this coils...even first express buys from them

Consider the color you intend to paint your building.The most important thing is the coil's coating...ensure you get a colorcoat or colotek...Nut brown has been my favorite....these are available colors on towers website .

I have always use Johnytec and have recommended them to several people here. The Metcopo that I mentioned that never leaked was corrugated by them. But I will never use Metcopo again o due to the fear of leakage regardless of who corrugated it.

Other than faulty currugators ,another major problem of metcoppo is handling..loaders/carpenter's mishaps and mishandling.it requires extra care due to its extra sharp corners. Same with some steped tiles...

The problem is if I were to create a thread today, it would drown and remain in the background, no one would know about it. The first step is an active moderator to create a stickied (like this one) thread and maintain that thread. Once it’s stickied to the first page of this section, you can’t miss it. Preferably, 2 moderators for a section like this with so much money flowing through so that the moderation is active at all times and not abandoned as is the case with lawyer.

There’s nothing stopping active members of this section from pushing for a functional moderator to restore sanity here. There are enough members whom I assume would be credible candidates for the post(s). Off the top of my head, there are a few I would recommend from this thread but in the end, folks have to be ready to lobby Seun or the supermods or whomever the big honcho is that can appoint a moderator(s).

Mods like Justwise from travel and Tabbaz, the mod from the business section have active, tenured experience in moderation and clamping down on fraudsters. They would be great candidates if they have the capacity to add to their current sections.

I find it heartbreaking that one man has continued to do this for over 10 years and it’s only a matter of time before another victim shows up.
