It happened that I bought a plot of land out of the percel of land sold by local government to individuals , but another occupant claims a space that we assumed to be access road, now living me with out road to my land.
Now, I want to get the survey of that area to ascertain how the government land will not have access road to every plot around.

What you are looking for i believe is called a Gazette..The local Government you bought land should have one..

30 tons should be 30 tons anywhere, anytime.
The issue is this, complete 30 tons can only be delivered by a trailer, most atimes, accessibility to sites is usually an issue considering turning radius and the strength of the soil to be able to allow a trailer to deliver.
So what those vendors do is they promise you 30tons and end up coming with 25-27 tons knowing fully well that a trailer can't access your site. So they come with a double axle truck. That way they make extra profit.

If you really want to know about this, request for waybill before they offload the material at your site.

The waybill usually contains information like
Quantity of material in tons or kg
Size/grade of material
Number plate of the vehicle
Time of departure from the company.
Note: this is if you are buying direct from the company.

Well...sir drivers do cut what they call 10-20 headpans even more if they are delivering to private people ...waybill becomes obsolete and useless ..

Remember where you have bad things is slso where you have the good things, and vice-versa.
We cannot generalize the worthiness of every contractor, there are good annd there are bad.
We just have to do our due deligence to make sure we picked the best one that meet our demand.
Not all Contractors are good and not all of them are bad either. Nobody want to lose his/her money.
So, may God keep on helping us Sir.

BTW, some of the big names that were highly referred here on this forum, were weighed but weighed nothing. Some baited us with very low and ridiculous BOQ and then started moving it up per every conversation (Bait and Switch) this supposed engineer is very dishonest, arrogant and no integrity. I will not mention names here. This is a discussion for another day.

I understand....polystyrene isn't made from crude oil...now they are making fire retardants models..(doesn't mean it wont burn or drip)...again it all depends in what you plan to achieve..they are not necessarily cheaper if you are looking to save cost...

There are too many people building with ICF today ..on YouTube too many hits. my friend is creating some acoustics roof insulation for company that solely builds icf blocks. are you saying that polystyrene isn't fire rated enough yet approved for housing ?
