You dont really need all that running some camera and lighting. offcourse it's your money do what you like.....one multilayer switch ;configure a firewall and DMZ .....one one lan/Wan from isp....

An sdn is even simpler solution....all the best sir....

So here’s how I configured mine. The IP cameras come with an Network Video Recorder. The NVR is plugged into my POE switch which sits behind a firewall. The POE is plugged into my MTN wireless router. This doesn’t provide DHCP, my POE switch does that.
Each IP camera gets an IP address from my switch. So using a video software and behind my firewall I simply type in each cameras IP in a browser.

To view it externally I open a port.

Long story short, your IP camera is a network device when configured properly.

What a setup....a simple a multilayer switch and a Lan/mtn would have been enough..

I stopped sharing my jobs a long while ago because I know some people will never be happy seeing such. Wetin I fit do?

The truth is I do my best to deliver my jobs within given timeframe. And that means I’ll give the job 100% attention during the period.

If I move, to get me is very difficult because there are several other things waiting on me.

Those who knew me knew when I’m at work, it’s different I do everything and anything to get my job done without compromise. I can’t say the same if I delegate my function.

There’s no issue bro even the man at work just called me this morning to let me know their plan for the new week after giving me update of what was done over the weekend.

The guy was complaining bitterly about how much I’m paying to do the job because it was way above what should be paid daily. I told him all I’m after is to get the job out of my way so I can concentrate on other things and freely share projects that can benefit mankind like the one below.

If I may ask you simple questions or maybe no so simple:
1.why was this job delayed this long and again
2.what is left day job or two ??

3.Why can't this be remedied before another public ridicule ?

Buffer and Security Inventory.

What JIT does is to reduce Inventory Holding cost. It cannot be totally reduced to Nil in the practical sense.

Except you control your entire supply chain which is near impossible.

It reduces over production and waste since you are procuring on order...buffer and security inventory means if anything goes wrong customer would continue to work without having immediately stop...

A system needs to be robust...one of requirements we have is suppliers must have two machines of each for Odette and EdI goods production so as if one breaks down you have the other...offcourse this is what you pay for

There is something called Leadtime ,Takt time and cycle time ....

One disappointment in your "supply chain" and the whole work for the day or for the week is "f**ked up".

The only other option is to have 2 - 3 different suppliers for same item. But there's nothing like keeping inventory in suppy chain management!!!

Just in time requires buffer and security inventory....can work efficiently if you have a stiff and robust system together with your suppliers...I work In a place where that works round the clock...

So also the Epe to ijebu ode is also good as I said bcs it’s just a few minute drive to lekki, ajah axis ( dangote biz come to mind here) also it’s good for residential due to its serenity environment, Good road, low cost of construction,( dry and table land,cost of materials is not that high I.e granite, sand etc)
Also there are higher institutions that are very closer to these area,
No clumsy movement
No noise pollution
No industrial waste pollution
No air pollution
And many more

I think I am one of those who qualify to undertake this exercise because of my extensive knowledge of the market. I've worked with Ikea and the likes and I've also worked with Jimoh and Segun in Mushin.

The world is reversed. Oyibo pay premium price for things done manually. We pay premium price for things done by machines. Why? Because our artisans do not pay attention to details. I watched a tutorial on sanding. They narrowed it down to the directions of standings and effects on the finished products. We lack such details and finesse.

Some of you make graduate employees envious with how much you make in a month. But instead of reinvesting the money to perfect your trade, only God knows what they do with the money. I suspect sugarbabes, marrying another wife or outright "dorime" in a nightclub.

By the way, the tools are relatively cheap. Not bragging, but with a tool that costs less than N200k, I can paint a house better than most of those claiming to be professional painters in Nigeria. Imagine painting a whole house by one person in about 3 days.

We can't make them in Nigeria as yet. We have three steel plants in Nigeria: Itakpe, Ajaokuta and Aladja. All are rolling steel plant. You need a flat steel plant for Complete Knocked Down sheet (CKD). This was the advice given to Obasanjo down to Shagari way back then in conceptualizing these projects.

The country does not need three rolling plants. At least one flat sheet plant was needed for CKD parts for car manufacturing plants in Ibadan (Laylands), Volkswagen in Lagos, Alumanco in Enugu and Peogeut in Kaduna. But as usual, they did not listen. Today, we know the rest.

One shitty Chinese company in aba already makes flat sheets I believe...from recycled metals....I dont want to say their name because of how they treat their staffs...volume is key...they don't have that at the moment...focusing on other products that yields more cash..

Talking about unhappy client .... last week I paid a company to change my EK floor in the sittingroom...I paid for total change...
Well I was surprised to see a new floor but entrance threshold and linings or skating whatever it's called remained the old one... see picture below....

I called to ask why if they are coming back the next day to finish....they said threshold and linings weren't that bad and required no changes ...I said they are bad in my eyes and didn't I pay for floor change??

I asked questions were they part of floor change or not...they said well....maybe or maybe not..

A day of fronts and backs to understand what went wrong..I said I won't pay and will create 20 fake emails and give them 1 star ratings on google if not fixed within a day...hahaha
