The pictures you attached to this post are not those of the F-7NI, they are JF-17 Thunderbolt Fighter jets recently acquired from Pakistan by the Nigerian Airforce and are currently the most powerful fighter jets in This region of Africa. They are more powerful than the Chengdu F7s.

As I observe keenly I see that many of the people here who comment about the IPOB, ESN, UGM issue do not actually do it with all the variables, causes, effect, solutions, etc and with a balanced view. Some deliberately distort the history of this menace just to be politically correct, others even make unsubstantiated claims just to massage their blind and political and ethnic biases. Here I see many Nigerians who are blind, deaf and dumb to equity, justice and fairness. I have seen how misguided MNK and his group have been, I have also seen a President that is completely clueless, unintelligent and unfit for that exalted position. Governors of the South East also created a vacuum in governance, while their people were being slaughtered at night much much earlier they put up acts that portrayed them as powerless and helpless. As it stands Nigerians take the word of their security forces with a pinch of salt because of years of abuse, corruption and injustice perpetrated by these security personnel and a government that is usually indifferent. See ehn we can talk from now till tomorrow, until we have leaders who are ready to do right and citizens who are ready to stand United against bad leadership without ethnic, religious or blind political bias this country will go nowhere. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Can we stop this Nonsense already, all of you. We wouldn't be discussing such nonsense if not for the very stup*id and unintelligent people we have produced in power over the years who have absolutely no idea on what to do with it. This country is sinking deeper into all indices of a failed state. Can we not choose to be that generation that will pause and take a right turn? And see that whatever divisions and hatred and bigotry and injustice we perceive were planted by the political class just to have enough space to do as they like? Very sad that we've not leaders who truly understand what Nigeria needs. 9 Likes 1 Share |

You have a way of ignoring salient issues raised by others and tagging it "emotions", making yourself a hypocrite without knowing. From the onset Maj. Gen Buhari by himself had set the stage for trouble in His regime with his uncouth pronouncements. His supporters acknowledge that fact howbeit secretly. What interests me most on this thread is the various positions taken by participants issues, I could see clearly those who are round hypocrites, who do not have the balls to say the truth. Buhari Appeals To US Over Insecurity , Wants AFRICOM In Nigeria The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Tuesday stressed the need for the support of the United States and other “important and strategic partners” in combating the security challenges facing Nigeria. He said the support was necessary because the consequences of insecurity in Nigeria would affect all nations. According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the President made the call during a virtual meeting with the US Secretary of State, Mr Anthony Blinken. The statement was titled, ‘Security: President Buhari asks US to relocate headquarters of AFRICOM to Africa, warns of likely spill over.” Apart from seeking the assistance of the US, according to the Presidency’s statement, Buhari also called on the US to consider relocating US Africa Command from Stuttgart, Germany, to Africa, nearer the Theatre of Operation. Buhari said, “The security challenges in Nigeria remain of great concern to us and impacted more negatively by existing complex negative pressures in the Sahel, Central and West Africa, as well as the Lake Chad Region. “Compounded as the situation remains, Nigeria and her security forces remain resolutely committed to containing them and addressing their root causes. “The support of important and strategic partners like United States cannot be overstated as the consequences of insecurity will affect all nations hence the imperative for concerted cooperation and collaboration of all nations to overcome these challenges. “In this connection, and considering the growing security challenges in West and Central Africa, Gulf of Guinea, Lake Chad region and the Sahel, weighing heavily on Africa, it underscores the need for the United States to consider re-locating AFRICOM headquarters from Stuttgart, Germany, to Africa and near the Theatre of Operation.” The statement also quoted the Secretary of State as saying that he was pleased to make Nigeria part of his “first virtual visit to Africa.” He added that he would be delighted to build on the foundation that was laid between the two countries over 60 years ago, disclosing that areas of discussion with Nigeria would include “how to build our economies back after the COVID-19 pandemic, security for vulnerable communities, and climate issues.” Copyright PUNCH. |

Soldiers killed over 10 peaceful demonstrators and left scores more injured. After Initial denial by the Nigerian Army that its officers were not at Lekki Toll Gate, Lagos, where peaceful protesters were shot and killed last Tuesday, the military has come out to say its officers were only ensuring compliance with a curfew put in place by Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, earlier that day. Soldiers killed over 10 peaceful demonstrators and left scores more injured. The Nigerian Army has now said its officers were simply ensuring compliance with the curfew put in place in Lagos State. In a statement credited to the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Sagir Musa, said some people were trying to discredit the military and Nigerian Government. Though Musa did not make direct reference to Tuesday killings at Lekki, he said, "Detractors both local and international have mischievously and deliberately misrepresented troops’ efforts to ensure compliance with the curfew imposed by legitimate civil authorities in Lagos and other states. “These agitators are falsely accusing the NA of being responsible for the activities of the miscreants despite glaring evidence to the contrary.” He also decried that the detractors are threatening to report the Nigerian Army to the International Criminal Court and also impose a visa ban on them from foreign countries. “Criminal elements are threatening us with travel ban but we are not worried because we must remain in this country to make it better. “The first time I travelled outside this country, I was already 50 years and a general, so I don’t mind if I live the rest of my life here,” Buratai said. SaharaReporters had revealed that the soldiers involved in the attack on peaceful protesters were deployed from 65 Battalion, Bonny Camp, Victoria Island, Lagos. “They came in two Hilux vans with at least eight bodies. Some were still alive when they returned. They dumped them at MRS Hospital. They told us clearly that it was Governor Sanwo-Olu that sent them,” a brother to one of the victims told SaharaReporters. Contrary to the denial by the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu, that he knew nothing about the killing and maiming of peaceful #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate area of the state by personnel of the Nigerian Army, soldiers involved in the operation have since confirmed that they were actually drafted in for the mission on the request of the governor. SAHARA REPORTERS Is this a volte-face? Accepting that the army were indeed at Lekki Toll Gate after initial denials? Pray, tell. 1 Like |

ARCHBISHOP JUSTIN WELBY IS NOT THE LEADER OF THE ANGLICAN COMMUNICATION WORLDWIDE!!! Our Church doesn't have a central leadership, the various Churches in Africa are Independent of The Church of England, so is the Church of Nigeria, there are no Provinces for Welby to lead outside England.
