Drchristian:The Igbos did not come out in mass to vote for Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu when he contested twice. The people have one heartbeat. If we did not vote for Ojukwu, same reason might have led us to impinge on voting the names you mentioned above. Voting is a choice-you vote for a candidate you believe will perform, not based on ethnicity. If we can do it to Ojukwu, we can do it to Awolowo. Let's not delve into full politics please. |
This is a merit list for God sake, If you don't achieve the score needed to be on it, you will not be on the list. It is simple as that. I am sure there are other tribes on the list, the OP on the other thread was just trying to start an online war. Let us be truthful, I grew up in the west... You will hardly hear a Yoruba friend telling you he is applying to a university in the east. If you did not apply, how will your name be on the list? I heard the list was sent by UTME,how is it UNN fault? we all should not let hate eat deep into us, using nepotism as a shield. |
sammy6:yes thier schools produce the most have baked graduates. See what hate can cause. |

I just love this guy, for me he has proper "education ",he stands in the face of lies upholding the flag of truth. Can't you see his choice of words? If I am the president of Nigeria, I will give this guy a good post... He is a technocrat. |
This is the real ish. 2 words made me smile "organised chaos" that sums up everything, I love the blend of reality swirling around your piece. |
I am happy I am not the only one with such mindset. I believe in God but the way we take religion in Africa is just not it. Although, not all are in such "clique " as you said above. There are some fanatics that make religion a burden. Do not listen to such music,it is a sin. Do not do this or that. They are free to increase the volume for Frank Edward song... do so for Lil Wayne (they look at you in disdain). They tend to be manipulative, taking decision for you in your own life. In the case of reading... they disturb with chants of prayers when they see you reading, if you complain... you are an agent of Devil in level 9. Well , I have learnt to give most of them space, if they bring that self righteousness thing to my comfort zone, I do tell them off. Africa is just so backward when it comes to religion, they need a forward flip. |

This piece is unique, in the sense that I can feel the message down to my marrow. Happy belated birthday Sir. More accretion to you. |
This is a front page topic. I am tired of seeing topics that won't massage the medulla. |
I believe a finite mind can't explain an infinite mind or even comprehend it. Man is a causal being, we always ask questions(why?).If a ball rolls into your room, you gaze at the direction the ball comes from, to know why? But since God mind is infinite, we just assume or tell ourselves a tale that will satisfy our curiosity. Although, It rarely does. We can say a bucket is finite, water is infinite.A bucket can carry some percentage of water, but clearly not all the water in this world at once. |
geesilver:Thanks man |
I hope this get to front-page, they opted for out of court because it will enable the supposed pensioners win in the long run. The problem is money to finance lawyers for the case. Since it is a come today - come tomorrow thing, it will only lead to frustration. If you can write to any human right organisation, there might be an headway. I hope your dad has legal documents were the supposed hospital insisted on paying them monthly? This thread should be on front-page because that is where it will be given full hearing and advice. Please lalasticlala take this to the front-page. Thanks!. |
If exposing a crime is said to be a crime; then it is safe to say we are being ruled by criminals. |

I am not a strong Christian but one thing I noticed in our religion settings are hypocrites and fanatics. As for the subject masturbation... I don't really have a standing point on it,but the level of hypocrites on this thread is at its acme. Na Nigerians know the whole sin and all that. As an individual the greatest thing is "love" regardless of religion. Most Nigerians act holy on Sunday.. some see others mistakes and castigate them. I raise hand for una. As for the OP I understand your point. I thank God you are not a fanatic. |
Bro please continue, I noticed the thread today and have started following. Trust me more people will start commenting soon. |

All I have for this guy is accolade. I respect you Sir. |
I totally agree with you OP. I must also commend your writing skill, you did a good job. I never knew of this egg donor business (This is really an eye opener to me). As a poster said above, Do not risk your life for another woman fertility (ensure you visit professionals) not those that are in it for the monetary gains without your well-being in heart. Thanks for the insight! |

Observing with binoculars. I hope this is true. |
This should not be justice should be done on paper, action should follow. I know the N/A will try to cover the matter but if appropriate action is taken their plans will be flawed. They should compensate the wounded officer and make sure the soldier is sacked. That is the least they can do to placate Nigerians. Justice must be done, don't let injustice be a norm. |
If that is the case it would have been better. I was just charged 10138 Naira for 100 cedis(Ecobank ATM). |
This has been on front-page before, so I don't know why the OP keeps regurgitating it again to instigate bashing. We have same set of students in Nigeria Universities, so what is all the fuss about. If they like they should not learn and gallivant with their parents money. Na them Sabi! |
dumo1:I am using Naira MasterCard (Ecobank) in Ghana and I am withdrawing. |
