My advice: it is not yoruba people that has d monopoly of doing things rightly in this country alone for people to see ....Igbos sud inculcate some of their best gestures for d betterment of this country.

The Igbos did not come out in mass to vote for Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu when he contested twice. The people have one heartbeat. If we did not vote for Ojukwu, same reason might have led us to impinge on voting the names you mentioned above.

Voting is a choice-you vote for a candidate you believe will perform, not based on ethnicity.

If we can do it to Ojukwu, we can do it to Awolowo.

Let's not delve into full politics please.

This is a merit list for God sake, If you don't achieve the score needed to be on it, you will not be on the list. It is simple as that.

I am happy I am not the only one with such mindset. I believe in God but the way we take religion in Africa is just not it. Although, not all are in such "clique " as you said above. Please I am in quite a fix right now and for now I don't know if there is any solution to this predicament, has Nigeria become so bad?
For the past one month our naira mastercards have now been working abroad even in Ghana. I thought it was a joke until I saw things for myself first hand yesterday.
I placed a call to the GTB Customer care lines and Zenith Bank customer care lines provided at the back of the atm cards to confirm my worst fears and I was told that for now Naira denominated mastercards can't work abroad and they don't know when the issue would be resolved. For now people have cash and they can't withdraw and some are stranded.
So our hard earned money will just be collecting cool Ac at the bank. Right now I am keeping my cool and hopeful that it will be resolved soon because I don't want to start laying all the blame on Buhari, clueless finance minister Kemi Adeosun or CBN.
Has any nairalander experienced this at all and what was the way forward?
