Am surprized to see people take the words of the NOTORIOUS Bin Gbagbo serious. Whoever that does not know him and his pranks definitely is a newbie or guest in NL. Anyways, kindly pay a 3 minutes visit to the joke (preferably yoke) section. He's the reigning undisputed chairperson of the NJPC opposition party.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: UCL: Bayern Munich Vs Real Madrid (2 - 1) On 17th April 2012 by donigspain(m): 9:50pm On Apr 17, 2012
Am a madrid fan but I must say that mourinho's last 10mins tactical approach was a failure. Why was marcelo even brought into the match? To play the role of Ozil? To make the defence more rigid? Am just not happy at all but all the same it was a good match and we got away with a goal. The return leg at Santiago Bernabeu will be a cracker as we must win by a 2 goal margin.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Economy Is The Third Fastest Growing In The World by donigspain(m): 5:46pm On Apr 12, 2012
For a MINISTER of the FEDERAL REPUBLIC to publicly make such assertion about Nigeria being the 3rd fastest growing economy means he has got some facts and figures to back up his claims. That is undisputable. Like I rightly pointed out in my earlier post, Eco Growth and Eco Development are two different things. While the former measures the quantitative progress of a country e.g GNP/GDP which does not necessarily represent the true nature of the people's living condition, the latter addresses the qualitative progress of a country which is assessed through the parameters of Human Development Index, Human Happiness Index, Life Expectancy Ratio, Income Distribution Index, Educational Status etc. The major emphasis should be placed on the effective utilization of the opportunities presented by this Eco Growth to foster Eco Dev. The minister shld knw dat we hav out-grown d era of clappn weneva they present us wit some eco figures which show a +growth on one hand while rep a mirage of d true situatn on d other hand.

With my limited understanding of the subject of Economics, I know that Economic Growth and Economic Development are two different phenomena. A high Economic Growth does not necessarily result to Economic Development. Nigeria may even be the largest/highest growing economy but still be Economically under developed. Personally, I would prefer a country with high Economic Development matched up with a fair Economic Growth. The standard of living, life expectancy Index, Human Happiness Index, Human Development Index etc are all embodied in Economic Development. Please, enough of these GDP-GNP talks by our ministers.

Wow, thanks to Nairaland I've been able to make some sales already. About 265 cartons available now. It' real and genuine!!!
Technology MarketRe: A Container Load Of LAPTOP BAGS For Sale!!! by donigspain(op):
Sure, I will post the pics tomorrow. They are DMG laptop bags.
The 1st pic (laptop bag) is the current available stock while the 2nd pic (traveling bag) is a sample of a yet-to-be-imported stock.

Technology MarketA Container Load Of LAPTOP BAGS For Sale!!! by donigspain(op):
A container load of LAPTOP BAGS (imported by my uncle) which has already been CLEARED and TRANSPORTED to a warehouse somewhere in Aba is put FOR SALE to interested buyer(s). Initially, he wanted to sell it through direct retail but changed his mind after a low patronage experience which, in my view, is due to the general low number of laptop owners in Aba metropolis. The goods (laptop bags) is put at the price of #1,600 per bag for the potential buyer(s). Market value of laptop bags, I believe, is at about #2,500 to #3,500 per bag. Interested buyers should reach me through 08123119818.
NB: this is a GENUINE business offer and interested potential buyer(s) is FREE to bring in security/legal arms e.g. Police, Army, EFCC, ICPC etc into the business. Thanks...

Sales have been made since I posted this and there are currently about 280 cartons available at the warehouse with each carton containing 20 laptop bags.

Nairaland GeneralFulani Herdmen Strikes In Enugu. by donigspain(op): 7:32pm On Mar 31, 2012
Residents of Amurri Community in Nkanu West L.G.A of Enugu state was, this afternoon, thrown into a state of panic and mourning as Fulani herdsmen attacked and killed one of the villagers while injuring another as a result of a dispute between the two victims and the herdsmen. Problem started when the herdsmen took their cattle into the farmlands, eating and destroying the crops. The two farmers, on learning about this, approached the Fulani herdsmen so as to persuade them to leave their farmlands but they were immediately attacked and matcheted by the herdsmen. One of the farmers died on the spot while the other escaped with matchet/dagger cuts into the village, shouting and calling for help. This development angered the village youths who went into the bush in search of the herdsmen but could no longer locate their whereabout. The wounded farmer is currently recieving medical attention in a hospital while security operatives (army and police) have been dispatched to curtail the situation.

PoliticsRe: Nimet Warns Of Flooding, Erosion! by donigspain(m): 10:57am On Mar 02, 2012
@Ifyalways, As a mitigative measure, inhabitants of flood prone areas should endeavour to clear their drainages off waste blockages, ensure no construction is erected on natural flood plains, have their building foundations raised or simply evacuate those unsafe regions.

Ofcourse, even with the warnings from the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET), our leaders and emergency agencies (e.g. NEMA) will pay a zero attention until the last seconds. Its high time we took our meteorologists serious in this country. I not only speak as a meteorologist but also as a concerned citizen.

Jokes EtcRe: Old Riddle But Fun! by donigspain(m): 9:51pm On Feb 15, 2012
THE ANSWER TO THE RIDDLE: First, the man takes the goat across the river (leaving the lion and the yam behind). Then, he makes his journey back to the other side of the river (empty-handed). He takes the lion across the river to where the goat is kept, leaves the lion behind and returns with the goat to the place where the yam is kept. He drops the goat and makes it across the river with the yam to the side where the lion is kept - at this moment we now have the man, the lion and the yam at the other end of the river while the goat is at the other end. Finally, the man makes it across the river (empty handed) to the place where the goat is, picks the goat and makes it back to the other side of the river where the lion and the yam is.
