@OP... I don't think 'UNDERESTIMATE' is the right term for the Southern Nigerians' stereotypical perception of Northern Nigeria. We (southerners) do not understimate the LATENT capabilities, abilities and prowess of Northerners if provided with same opportunities (dynamic ideology, infrastructure, exposure etc) as with the southerners. The fact is: as long as these 'opportunities' are not provided, Northern Nigeria will continue to be in a relegated position...
